Great service!!
Dave repaired my Alloys and did some work to the interior of my car. He and the whole company were really easy to deal with, great value and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend the company and Dave in particular.

Rob came out to repair our car and the whole process was extremely efficiently handled. Rob called us when he said he would and did a great job.
Paint Repair, Brilliant service, repair done at home on own drive way very convenient.
Kept informed of time of arrival etc
Work done was top quality and Rob was very polite explaining everything to me
I had the misfortune whilst parking my car in an unlit street to badly scrape the rear N/S 20" alloy wheel on a delivery van taillift. The wheel (in pearlescent grey metallic) was gouged in four places by the sharp edge of the taillift. I removed two wheels myself (one perfect for them to match the finish on the damaged wheel) and Direct Finish had them in their York depot for 3 days. I collected my wheels yesterday and refitted them to the car myself. It is impossible to tell the difference between the repaired wheel and the undamaged one. I am delighted!
I have used this company on a number of occasions. Very professional, kept upto date with appointments . Punctual and very knowledgeable. Rob went that extra mile advised re other resent damage and complete immediately after completing booked job. High standard of finish. Thank you Rob
Great job on alloys and paint work by Rob. Also best price.
Rob came and repaired my scuffed bumper. Did a fantastic job cannot even tell it was even scuffed, excellent job. Rob was very polite and explained what he had done. Top job thank you.
Rob came to repair few scratches on paintwork on my car. He was very profession al assessing the area and stuck right in to fix it up. He was happy to walk me through the process explaining what he is using. Magic happened in front of my eyes, all scratches disappeared! thank you Rob!
I had Rob from Direct Finishes to remove some scuff marks on my Green BMW 4 series coupe. Brilliant job and nice guy . Would use again.
An alarming “crack” on my Mini Cooper’s left front alloy wheel was inspected by a technician within two minutes of my arrival at Direct Finish.
“Nothing to be concerned about,” he said after applying a special cleaning fluid and elbow grease. “It’s not actually a split on the rim but a build-up of brake dust that just looks like one.
“Enjoy the rest of your day.”
“What can I give you for your trouble?” I asked. “You can’t,” he said. “I’m just glad you’re satisfied.”
Now that’s what I’d call good service. When one of my wheels is really cracked, I know where I’ll be heading first…
I had wheel damage after catching a kerbstone during the snowy weather. I claimed through my wheel insurance and Direct Finish contacted me the same day and arranged to collect my wheels a couple of days later. They were picked up on Monday and were back on my car looking as good as new on Thursday. The repairs are top class and the finish on the wheels looks fabulous. Fast, efficient and excellent service.
Extremely disappointing and waste of money! We had a Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel refurbished due to minor curb damage. Initial finish was good. 8 months later the lacquer is blemishing, and the paint is comprehensively delaminating from the Wheel.
Upon contacting the company with photos, their reply informs me they only honour work upto 6 months and that I'd need to pay again. In the words of Matthew "but we did a good job didn't we!?" (initially)... Well no Matthew, you didn't! Your work wasn't capable of lasting much beyond your 6 month warranty! And rather than looking after your customers, you'd rather argue and try and fleece me out of more money.... Fool me once, shame on you... Right?
Bottom line, is quality and longevity is poor, customer service is desperately lacking... Furthermore this complaint was briefly run by the boss (allegedly), which makes for some disingenuous business decisions!
I'd warn any prospective customers to seek another outfit if you value your wheels, your bank balance, or at the very least value being looked after!
If I could attach photos on here, I would. If they hadn't removed their Facebook page (wonder why), Id be leaving the evidence on there for all to see!
Absolutely disgusted, and they shan't be getting any more of my money!
Excellent service. Also known as Direct Finish Ltd., Great little company to do business with.
