This is the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with, including student agencies during my time at university.

I rented through this company for approximately five years.

Throughout that time, they were consistently rude and uncooperative. They repeatedly refused to carry out necessary repairs, failed to change my rent payment date, and then accused me of paying late for years, despite the fact that I had already paid them hundreds of pounds to adjust the date.

After completing the initial fixed-term contract, we moved onto a rolling contract. Despite this, they forced us into a new fixed-term agreement for no legitimate reason, seemingly to prevent us from leaving, and did so under the threat of eviction.

When we informed them that we were in the final stages of purchasing a house and only required a few additional weeks without committing to another full year, they attempted to evict me and my pregnant wife. Their actions almost resulted in us losing the purchase of our property.

They also gave us permission to paint the property and are now attempting to charge us for repainting.

Finally, they are trying to withhold the maximum possible amount from our deposit after the tenancy ended, despite the property being in a comparable condition to when we initially moved in.

These are not all of the issues we experienced, but they should be more than enough for anyone to make the right decision and choose literally any other company.

I sold through another agent (and really wish I hadn’t!) I purchased through Anthony Martin and my experience could not have been more different.
Georgia was amazing. I can honestly say I don’t think the transaction would have gone through without her, she went above and beyond and could not have been anymore helpful.
Tarkan was also great.
When i called the office they always answered the phone and my questions. They were all friendly, professional and incredibly helpful.

In a very unsure time within the housing market in this last year Tarkan and Georgina took charge of selling my late mother’s bungalow and although it was in a chain went through relatively smoothly . As agents both these people were most professional and knowledgeable - also Abbie aswell was very helpful

After much disappointment trying to sell my house with other local agents .Tan and Lee demonstrated a real sense of professionalism and tenacity.I did my own viewings out of choice but they quickly them followed up and finally produced the right buyer in a very timely manner .Both chaps are incredibly easy to deal with and are real gents showing the rest how to do business!! Well done guys ! Thank you so much !!!

Anthony Martin estate agents is a franchise therefore your experience is very dependent on who and where you instruct for a property sale. It is a people business. Anthony Martin Sutton at Hone (Amanda and Holly) are very good. Amanda will take ownership and responsibility for your sale, my mum had a prolonged sale due to people down the chain and Amanda kept us regularly updated and did her utmost to push the solicitors and estate agents down the chain to progress matters. If you need an estate agent in Sutton at Hone then Anthony Martin are strongly recommended.

Anthony Martin managed my two properties in Dartford. They are awful. Very poor communication with me (landlord). Do not usually respond back emails. Unprofessional agents. Do not fulfil their promise what they initially said. Logged complaints with the local agent, manager. I wanted to take the case to the top management of the company, they never provided with the contact details of the top management. I then ended the contract with this company. Very bad experience.

If you have a dream of buying your first house, never look for this agency, we wasted 4 months waiting for the process, which, by the way, was carried out by the solicitors they recommended, and in the end, the house was completely outside the standards to be sold. How does an agency accept an irregular property like this? We wasted our time, money and we had to re-mortgage with an even higher interest rate.
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT AS I DON'T DESERVE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH TO ANYONE.

This estate agency are literally a complete waste of time. Pushed from pillar to post and never returning any of my calls. They don't even bother to turn up to viewings when previously booked and I had to conduct them myself. Stay way clear of these cowboys. They just don't seem to know what they are doing
