I had a genuinely positive experience working with Authors & Co. from start to finish. As a first-time author, I particularly valued the balance they struck between professional guidance and allowing me to retain a sense of ownership over my book.

The process was clearly structured, from my first meeting with Abigail to my sometimes daily interactions with Carol. Each stage - editing, design, and formatting all handled with care and attention. Communication was consistent and responsive, which made what could have felt overwhelming, much more manageable. The 'dashboard' kept everyone involved informed about what was happening and what decisions needed to be made.

What stood out most was the collaborative approach. My ideas were listened to and respected, while at the same time I benefited from the team’s experience and insight, the guidance from Deanne was especially a game changer. The end result is a book I feel proud of, both in terms of content and quality.

For anyone considering the hybrid publishing route, I would certainly recommend them as a supportive and professional partner.

I had a call today to explore the viability of my book idea and ask any questions I wanted, and I got a little more than I expected - a whole new book idea to go and explore! Abi didn't deter me from my book idea, that's still on the cards, but it's clear she thinks in a very strategic way with your best interests at heart, and I'm really excited about exploring the prospect of my new book idea and the way it can position and support my business next year. 1000% recommend and look forward to hopefully working with Authors & Co in the future.

I honestly can't thank Authors & co enough. The team have been incredible throughout the whole process. I completely trusted them and they held my hand through the whole process. Being a dyslexic writer I was worried about even starting the book but I know it was my time to do it, and they really helped me with that. I will be back with you when I write my next book.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve been told over the last 20 years ‘you need to write a book’. I laughed it off, or pushed the idea away. There is no way I could write a book! English has always been my nemesis, I was diagnosed with dyslexia at school, I was in bottom set- and they refused to let me do English literature at GCSE level. I was not meant to be a bloody author!

Then I met Lisa in NYC on Lisa’s retreat. The ‘you need to write a book’ kept on coming up. I explained about my hesitations and Lisa said to me ‘Hannah, this is you pitting barriers in the way. You must write a book, if you don’t it’ll be an injustice to the parents that need your help’

This completely changed my mindset, and I decided I needed to listen, to help more families sleep well.

Then there was the ‘how’. Everyone at the retreat recommended Abi and her team at Authors and co.

When I got home Abi’s name kept coming up and then she launched a challenge. I jumped in, signed up to The One and started watching the lives.

I loved how simple the process was to follow. Before I knew it I had an introductory chapter and format for the book.

I loved Abi’s approach so much that I decided to jump into 1:1. I wanted to get this 100% right and have support as well as accountability.

I now had deadlines, support, could ask questions and reach out if I needed them. By the July I had my book written.

I absolutely loved the little tips I picked up along the way, how to ensure I don’t miss things I wanted in the book, when and how to gather feedback. Also, I had the support when I needed it. Every time I had a minor meltdown ( luckily not too often) Abi picked up the phone herself and called me. A quick chat and I felt so reassured.

The last 3 months before launch was a whirlwind- beta readers, copywriting, editing, formatting, book design, launch ideas but Abi and her team were there every step of the way. Each stage reassuring me that it will come together! Even when I questioned if it was possible.

When I work with families I often get comments like ‘Hannah’s confidence rubbed off on me, her knowledge of babies makes you feel safe and confident in her hands’. I’ve now experienced this from the other side. This is exactly how I feel about Abi and her team. Even when I was having a wobble ( minor meltdown) her patience, confidence and experience reassured me, and I knew instantly it would be ok.

The result- I now have a number 1 best settling book! The C.A.L.M Approach to Baby Sleep reached number 1 in 5 categories, is searching organically in the number 1 spot if you search ‘baby sleep book’ on Amazon, is the only baby sleep book to have a 100% 5* rating.

A year on and my book has gone back up to top 10 many times and now has over 60 5* ratings and is the highest rated baby sleep book!

The feedback has been amazing. Abi’s step by step advice means I now have a beautiful guide to help even more exhausted parents sleep well. Deanne transformed my ( often jumbled ) thoughts into easy to follow, beautifully written paragraphs. And Carol was always at the end of the phone to hold my hand and ensure I had everything I needed.
