Not worth the money they charge for pet care

My dog started to experience odd symptoms. I had been taking her to an area vet hospital and they were not able to figure out what was going on. Decided to take her to an area Banfield thinking they had more experienced doctors. As I thought troubleshooting what was going on with her would take some time, I purchased their wellness plan. 1. After 5 appointments, the doctor couldn't figure out the issue and she was getting worse. 2. Decided to take her to a vet specialist and together, we determined euthanasia was her best option. They were very helpful, caring, and thorough. The vet called the internal specialist for their input even on his day off and he didn't mind. 3. Best guess was she had a rare cancer and/or a wicked autoimmune disorder. 4. The Banfield vet did try, but was stumped, and she was wasting away. 5. Trying to cancel the wellness plan is a nightmare! They give you the run around, close call centers mid-day, not return calls, etc. I've now paid 2 months for wellness plan for a dead pet. 6. For the price Banfield charges, you're better off taking your pet to a vet specialists for pet care and do shop around for vaccination clinics. They are way cheaper.
