At first I wouldn't have ever thought after the scam has happened that I would ever see my money again but they were such a big help throughout the whole process. From getting in contact with the bank to filing a complaint with the ombudsman. They have made an impossible task, possible which I will be forever grateful. I had a really positive experience with my initial consultation. Beverly was extremely helpful, friendly and professional throughout. She took the time to listen to my situation, explained everything clearly and gave me a much better understanding of my options and the next steps.

I really appreciated how approachable and knowledgeable she was, and I came away from the consultation feeling much more confident about how to proceed.

Absolutely disgusted their website does not correspond to what they just said on the phone, they said they do not deal with fraud in a consumer business case or criminal cases and that there no win no fee is for only cases valued over £50k and that they only deal with crypto currency scams where you have not met the scammer and that they could not help me with my case of fraud and scams. That is very misleading as the Cel Solicitor website does not say any of that.

I instructed CEL solicitors due to various leaks, damp, and mould in rented property, for which I provided numerous photographs and videos.

Despite initially being assured that I had a case with CEL, I was dropped a year later as they claimed that the landlords report showed no evidence of an active leak, and that they would not be instructing a chartered legal surveyor to obtain further evidence.

As the leaks are still ongoing, I have taken on a new solicitor who instructed an expert surveyor. The surveyor identified a range of defects, including a failed front door where ingress has been occurring, compromised DPC, defective insulation, faulty window seals etc. The cost to repair those defects were shown to exceed £1000.

I was disappointed that a solicitor would abandon their client based on the defendants in-house surveyors report, without obtaining any independent expert evidence. If the landlord could be trusted to tell the truth and make repairs, there would not have been any need to instruct CEL solicitors in the first place.

That’s over a year wasted which could have been spent identifying defects and pushing for repair.
