"Cybrary

"Cybrary: Free Cyber Security Training and Career Development.."

What you see above is what you will see if you do a google search on cybrary. I have to say this is total bulls*t just to put things a little mild. About 99% of all courses offered on cybrary are paid. You will need to UPGRADE as they call it in order to get access to these so called FREE COURSES. And the so called free stuff are useless since they are only introductions to the paid course.
MONEY HAS CERTAINLY BECOME THE FOCUS OF cybrary. They should remove the word FREE from their website...I would rate it minus 100 if I could. TERRIBLE

Money has basically been stolen from…

Money has basically been stolen from every supporter and content creator for the last 5 years for them to claim to be building a free platform that we all believed in, then turn it in to another money making farm where people peddle their stolen content, except their layout and site is worse than all of the others. Seriously screw these guys.

Cybrary website is not up to standard sorry, I literally struggle to navigate it...you got to pay to use it now.

It is so bad now I literally struggle to find the notes I was looking at last week. Every other page is "subscribe" I log in and the next page is again "subscribe" oh my god this is so annoying! Is there no one to work on the website it is so laggy and "empty" it's unbelievable. I feel as if no one cares for that place anymore it is a sinking ship 100%

P.S. Their Network+ exam tests simply not up to par sorry, you will never pass the N10-007 studying cybrary online tests!

New website sucks

Cybrary member since 2016
From being the best platform for free cyber security resources. Cybrary has become a disgusting website where every course has a paid chapter to make you pay. certificates of completion for CPEs are also over, since you cannot get it if you have a missing chapter.
The designer of the new web app should be executed, the user experience just sucks

Cybrary is terrible

Cybrary is terrible. Honestly, they're one of the worst types of con-artists by exploiting students in need of guidance.
First, their user interface is lacking and the person who handles the web development should be fired.
Certifications and progress are never updated or logged and to make things worse, they will jack up the price making it around $1k normal price and give you "discounts" throughout the year.
You will think you're getting a deal but in actuality, that's not the case.
The labs are slow and laggy, so are the practice exams...
Videos you could find anywhere on YouTube or Udemy for half the price.
Also, they exploit many students to write notes and lesson plans and sell that to other students. Don't fall for it.

I signed up with them for a year and canceled after experiencing terrible user interface. This coming year I was charged again and asked for a refund the day of.
They refused to give me a refund.

This is terrible business practice and customer service. I will not recommend this service to anyone in my company/circle of friends.

Money grabs clear and simple

Money grabs clear and simple. Originally purchase Insider Pro as a founding member, promised lifetime access for $50/year after. Then all a sudden they flip the table and charge $999/year for the same thing! Then automatically charge you for such automatically despite being told via email 40% off discount will be applied. Forums are dead, training is nothing you can't get elsewhere. It's a sinking ship that can't get their story straight.

Not to be trusted

please read carefully:
I studied months to get my skills certified and I passed over 20 exams. Today, when my employer asked me for my credentials and certifications, I checked and ALL the certified skills were gone!
So, I am not running the risk to be out of a job, because my employer think that I lied about my certified skills.
Please make yourself a favour and go elsewhere if you do not like the idea to study for nothing and worse to put your career at risk.

Cybrary is one of the Internet's hidden gems. They're not as well known as they should be but they wealth of information they have available for free to study in your own time to further your own career or deepen your knowledge within your hobbies. I genuinely appreciate the content available and look forward to my studying. The videos aren't as good as CBT Nuggets but for the price you pay on that, this is much much better! Many thanks.
