Huge thankyou to the team at darvills removals for all the hard work they put in to get us moved to our new home. Very professional, polite and took exellent care of our belongings.
I would certainly reccomend them to anyone thats moving home.

We used Darvills to move from Leeds to Derbyshire and we couldn’t recommend this removal company enough.
After being let down days before our move with a previous removal company, Darvills were organised, professional and stress free helping us out immediately.
It was the smoothest process and the moving day was seamless.

We used Davills to move in Aug this year and it was the best decision we ever made!
They completely took the stress of moving away from us.
They were very professional right from the quote to when they left us at our new home. The lads worked so hard and handled everything with care.
I would 100% recommend.

Our move involved lots of heavy workshop equipment as well as all the usual house contents. The communication and the admin etc were excellent. The actual move took three days and was at a distance of about 85 miles from West Yorkshire to Cumbria. The whole team worked like trojans throughout the loading and unloading and were always very friendly and helpful, always checking exactly where we wanted things putting. We were very impressed with their performance and professionalism throughout what was something of a trauma for us. We would certainly recommend Darvills to anyone after this experience. Thank you once again.

I've used Darvills previously and they were pricey but did a good job. I decided to use them again for a house move out of the area. The quote was expensive but moving house is hard work and I think people should be paid a decent wage for all the lifting, etc. The removal went alright, the removal men came a little later than the estimated arrival time but that was okay. They took a few breaks but again, I know the job is hard work so I had no problem with this. My new house was around 50 mins drive away and the guys decided to take a lunch break before travelling over to the new house - this was fine with me. The rest of the move went okay. I was shocked however to be given a further invoice the next day for £270 'waiting time'. I had already paid around £1500. I queried this as I was unaware of a waiting period as the guys said they were taking a lunchbreak before going to the new house and despite me asking them to call me to let me know once they were heading over to the new house, they didn't do so. They seemed very casual and told me they'd just see me when I got there. So I think charging me for a waiting time was unfair. When I queried this, I then got told that this charge was actually because the removal men didn't get to the new house by 1.30. So that feels like the late start, all the breaks and the long lunchtime ensured there was no chance they would get to the new house by 1.30. It feels like they screwed me over this time and I don't like this type of work ethic. I wont be using or recommending Darvills again due to this. For the sake of £270 they've lost their once excellent reputation with me.
