Coffee is getting a lot better , service also better so have decided to keep my club card going.

Visited the garden centre for a coffee and cake with a friend. It was very busy. I had my favourite - carrot cake but it was disappointing. Dry and lacking something. My friend was happy with her blueberry Victoria sponge. As I have a Dobbies loyalty card I didn't have to pay as you are allowed this as a 'birthday treat' as part of the loyalty scheme. We had a look around the garden items and gifts afterwards - there was a good choice. Though the outdoor plants were limited due to the time of year

Great service and staff in all departments, cafe really good freshly prepared food, nice play area for children, excellent pet shop in store, along with the works and Sainsbury's

Absolute asset to the Restaurant

Never usually write a negative review, but the restaurant service has resulted in feeling the need to do so. What has happened to self service which always worked before covid. Now we sit and wait and wait, each time I have to go and ask an assistant to take my order, it has really spoiled my visits and I choose to now go elsewhere, please change back!

I have just seen the reply to my review for Shenstone Garden Centre regarding the restaurant. Nobody has requested further information and I suspect all the other replies from Karen at Dobbies to negative reviews are the same. Please let me know.

Wonderful morning started with a delicious breakfast in the restaurant filled by an exciting trip round the Christmas section What a range of products! Staff were friendly and helpful and knew exactly where things were that I needed. Helped out to car with purchases too.

Chose a Christmas tree at shenstone (as a present for daughters new house) - out of stock there but assistant checked system and said Gailey had 5 in stock. Drove there - none in stock! Assistant rang next closest store (Telford) and reserved one for us, so we drove there and collected it. We live in Burntwood so our whole morning was spent getting the tree my daughter wanted, using the 20% we’d saved in the petrol to travel round! Maybe review your stock levels on your computer systems

Nice garden centre with a good restaurant, friendly staff. Lovely Christmas gifts, fair prices.

We called in the cafe for coffee and cake today only to find out there is no longer anything for those who are unable to eat dairy and gluten. I don't avoid dairy and gluten by choice! There was only ever two options anyway, and they were on the sweet menu, but we were told they've now dropped those options. Today there were fourteen different cakes and three types of scones, but not one was dairy and gluten free. When small cafés can cater for these dietary requirements it's appalling that somewhere this big doesn't.

Lovely food and good service in the cafe especially as it was my birthday treat. Liked looking around the different retailers and gifts. Good deal on bedding plants but wanted a tree but choice was very limited.

We have had a terrible week with my father in law passing away .. and my other half been told bad news .. Dobbies Dinner Was Truely Needed we had the curry experience.. FANTASTIC TASTY WORTH IT THANK YOU XX

Asked for a pot of water for a 90 yr old lady in the restaurant and got a cup of water no saucer no spoon. Asked for a plant to be gift wrapped and was told would bubble wrap be ok. Staff not interested in serving just messing around and long queues at the till with one till open. Will never go back there Planters is far superior.
