Poor customer service - refused return/replacement
Ordered a wall mounted vanity unit and basin from Duravit. Nobody bothered to point out that the basin is the wrong size for the vanity unit (why they can't just be sold as a set is beyond me). We have been told that they do not accept returns for this range of basins. No clear reason why they accept returns for some basins and not for others. So we have had to purchase another basin, are out of pocket by several hundred pounds and are left with a basin for which we have no use.

Toilet seat replacement
We had the toilet put in by the bathroom installers. We wish we had not as the toilet seat has been nothing but trouble.
In the last few years we have been through 3 as they break easily. Then to replace them is a nightmare as there are so many different models and they cost so much money. We even went to the duravit office and asked which is the correct model and they gave us the wrong model - £170 for the wrong replacement. NEVER AGAIN
Defective basin
We purchased a basin from the Duravit Happy range hoping for quality the reflects the price tag. Unfortunately, it was cast with defects and not level. A replacement was required but was some weeks to receive delivery and should have been quality checked before dispatch.
Very disappointed, would not recommend
We are pleased with the shape of the toilet. We paid extra for the coating to be added, the toilets Mark very badly in the pan and seem to go Brown. My wife has tried various cleaning methods to no avail. We bought another toilet in a third bathroom made by RAK, Although a lot cheaper, it is far superior to the Duravit. Very disappointed with the product.
Duravit Tap perhaps not fit for purpose
Duravit No. 1 Tap, Be warned these are for high pressure systems only. If you have a gravity feed, forget it or wait a long time for the water to come through.
Apart from that, the instruction manual is written in 28 languages, I may have been better off using the Chinese version. The illistrations are not accurate so you will be lost trying to work out how to set it up.
I can tell this document has never been reviewed.
Poor quality, nice design
Bought two sinks and a toilet from the “One” range. The castings appear to be faulty on all of them, our builder was unable to connect them up without leaks. The products were brand new in sealed boxes and bought from an authorised supplier but appear to be seconds.

I bought a duravit sensowash toilet and had it fitted for my mothers bathroom. She sadly passed away before it was fitted and as a result it has had very little use. All of the sensowash functions have stopped working and as there is only a two year warranty on these functions and there are no agents or registered repairers available in the republic of Ireland (something i was not made aware of at purchase). I am simply being told to buy a new one
The absolute best in customer service
When contacting the customer service team last week with a fault on our #700403 Bath/shower, I was delighted with the service that I received.
I learn today that despite not being able to provide proof of purchase to verify the warranty, they appreciated that it was an obvious product fault and have made urgent arrangements to send me replacement parts and at no cost.
Whilst they had every right to refuse assistance, they made an obvious choice to ensure that they provided the absolute best in customer service. Thank you.
Duravit now not far off a scam- avoid
Had one of the old SensoWash seats and it had stopped working after about 8 years. Bought a new one and it has stopped working after a week. Despite the duravit site stating that they have an in house customer service team and will send a technician if there are any problems, when I call I eventually get through to an agent in India who refuses to help and refers me to the retailer. This is ridiculously poor customer service for a supposedly high end brand

Shocking product. Worked for a couple of months. Loudest toilet ever.. now doesn’t work and app won’t connect. Waste of £2000

Terrible quality toilets. We have two automatic self wash toilets. Both have broke in under 3 months. These things are £2500+ toilets. And Diravuit do nothing about it apart from make excuses and try to get out of replacing anything.

I bought a new bathtub that came with an incredibly thin wall in one of the corners. With a torch the light, at that 1 specific corner only, pass through like a paper. It was a manufacturing problem, that cracked very quickly and costed me a fortune to replace. This brand is clearly underdelivering and overcharging. For everyone else: consider other brands, the name Duravit doesn’t mean nothing.

We purchased and had installed 6 duravit toilets when we refurbished our house two years ago.
We have only used 2 toilets in this time yet four toilets have rusted hinges and three the white seat has stained to yellow. No cleaner other than water has been used. Duravit dont seem to care and their solution is for us to buy new replacement toilet seats at £100 plus each.
Duravit design is good but quality of plastic seats and customer service is terrible.

Year warranty, you supply the receipts but they want the supplier to contact them with their purchase order, all rubbish. Do not buy this make, very poor quality, and over priced. Go to Wickes far better quality and better service. Save

Be very aware of Tempano shower trays
Be very aware of Tempano shower trays. The waste does not fit the tray, as the plastic waste flange is flat, and the tray is angled at approx 30 degree. There is only a thin plastic slip washer between the two parts. Contact surface is less than 1mm, allowing water to flow between the two parts and down the outside of the waste.. Has brought the ceiling down, Duravit saying has not heard of it before.
Very poor quality and value
We have had a Duravit Stark toilet seat for four years. Very poor quality and design. 1. The toilet seat yellows after a year and noting seems to clean it. The seats are very expensive to replace. We have a much cheaper Gala toilet and that works well after years of service with no yellowing. 2. The flush throws water everywhere. Two experts have attempted to adjust it to no avail. The design of the two water outlets is at fault, they are just to high and close to the rim. Avoid there are better quality and value brands out there.

Bought a toilet seat from duravit and it cracked. Bought another to replace it- it cracked too. Duravit could care less and for £100 per seat you would expect better quality.
I never give 1 star reviews but really such poor quality product and poor customer care.
Just go to B&Q at least they would have some semblance of respect for their customers. You do not get what you pay for with these guys! High quality prices, poor quality product, poor quality customer care. Avoid.
