Zero Customer Service / Spare Parts Service
Nice products but they are expensive. With which I would expect a high level of customer service when things go wrong. However when I found I had missing parts there was no customer service, no apology and am still waiting 6 months later for the missing parts to be supplied - absolutely ridiculous!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHARLATANS
Shocking
Shocking.

Never again. Does anyone have the email address for the CEO
Good luck fixing the leaks…
Good luck fixing the leaks…
The toilet has been leaking for ages without us realising. Now, we can’t find the parts. And we’ll hace to tear a wall apart in order to fix it. For now, we had to buy a mini-pump to get the water out of the wall as it is dripping down to the neighbors flat.
Duravit Cape Cod bath is a very poor…
Duravit Cape Cod bath is a very poor quality product, the bath leaks and marks extremely easily. At little under £2500 the Duravit Cape cod Bath marks at the slightest touch. The bath seems extremely porous and absorbs anything that touches it. Duravit have been extremely unhelpful and advised using sandpaper to clean the bath. Having reached out to interior designer friends they have confirmed that it is renowned within the industry Duravit’s products are over priced and extremely poor quality… shame I didn’t know this before spending a vast amount on their products.
I am extremely disappointed that their customer service lacks any solution or are willing to send out a representative to check the quality of their clearly faulty product.
I will not buy any Duravit products again!!
Faulty overpriced product with zero service
We installed a Duravit Sensowash Starck f Plus under a year ago and it has stopped working. 10 emails to their service department and six weeks later, we are no closer to getting it fixed or any service whatsoever. No sign of an engineer or advice. All we get is an ever lengthening string of delay tactics. Terrible service for a terrible piece of sanitary ware. Expensive too!
I’ve had duravit loos for just over 4…
I’ve had duravit loos for just over 4 years ago now. The soft close stopped about a year or two ago but the worst thing is the terrible staining inside the loo . I have tried everything to get it off, it’s like the sides have corroded. TERRIBLE LOOS. I’m going to have to get them all replaced :(
Pathetic durability
The warranty the advertise is a gimmick. Just try and get them to stand behind their products, they won't. This is meant to be quality and frankly it is not. You are better off not paying over the odds for a lack of durability.
Horrendous company that intentionally…
Horrendous company that intentionally designs their products to be non-standard (e.g. toilets designed so standard seats will not fit) so you are stuck buying their crappy products (e.g. toilets seats that break routinely and cost 4X a standard seat from amazon).
Avoid Duravit at all cost.
Loved our Duravit toilet we put in 5…
Loved our Duravit toilet we put in 5 years ago in our old house and now looking to get one for our new house. So comfy and great quality.
I bought 3 Duravit toilets and one…
I bought 3 Duravit toilets and one American Standard toilet when we built our home. All 3 of the Duravit toilet seats have failed but the American Standard still works perfectly. I call Duravit but they only warrant the seat foe 1 year. The seats have never worked properly and I even had our plumber come back to secure the seat only to have them move within the first month. They obviously have an issue with the hinges. I will never buy another nor would I recommend them. I will be contacting Fred Webb company to let them know to
Not recommend them to others. Try to save a headache for someone else.
Duravit Starck 3 repeated toilet seat…
Duravit Starck 3 repeated toilet seat breakages - we have now had four soft close seats snap in half whilst in use. The seat lacks mid seat support and seems to flex and gradually completely fail. The seats are expensive and cannot afford to keep paying for sub-par design breakages. Duravit sound like they are getting it all wrong and I am now thinking of looking at an alternative brand for our next new build house.
shoddy quality
I bought three Duravit Architec toilets for our new house. The stainless steel hinges on two of the toilets went rusty immediately and on the third toilet after a couple of years. My builder replaced the first two but Duravit are refusing to replace the third set accusing me of using corrosive chemicals. The quality of the stainless steel is obviously poor which is shameful considering how much they cost. I would them just to send me replacement hinges as a goodwill gesture but they juts send aggressive emails "without prejudice".
What a Nightmare
Have you ever felt traumatized by a mere toilet seat? This brand will make sure you do.
I moved into a house with this brand toilet pre installed. But the seat had yellow stains and cracks. So I asked a plumber who advised me not to replace the seat, but instead soak it in bleach and forget the cracks. Which I tried, but did not get the stains off and the cracks widened after a very short time.
According to any plumber, they will tell you: this brand is over priced for a mediocre quality. The packaging is cheap so they get damaged during delivery. Bad customer service, so if you receive the wrong or faculty product you will be stuck with it. And it is almost impossible to order the correct seat if I don't know the model number.
But since the seat turned from bad to worse, I had to buy a new one. Took me hours to understand what exact model is my toilet, because some f* marketing genius created so many different sizes and models under similar names. I did order the correct model, but turned out that there are multiple sub models! And the seat was wrong size. So I contacted the company asking for a replacement, they said it is not possible because the hinges bag was opened! How can I tell it is the wrong size if I haven't opened the hinges bag and tried to install it?! I got absolutely nothing from them. They really did not care and kept telling me to just order another one!
So now I am stuck with a 115£ toilet seat I do not need and cannot return, and will have to pay another 115£ to buy another one (hoping I won't get into this again and it would be delivered with no faults) that means I will end up paying 230£ for a seat that is worth around 15£!
If the money is not going to the quality, not for the packaging and not for customer service, then I am left feeling scammed!
Duravit Starck 3 toilet
I have a Duravit Starck 3 toilet. The seat has broken twice in normal use. I have found a forum where this has also been reported. As far as I can see the plastic is just not up to the job. The toilet is expensive as are the seats.
A Couldn’t CARE LESS ATTITUDE TO DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE This is the first time I have ever…
This is the first time I have ever given a review for poor performance to any company but feel compelled to make other people aware of my experiences- I purchased a DURAVIT Steam cabin and other bathroom fitments from Sheths bathrooms of Blackburn in 2017 and have contacted DURAVIT U.K. HQ many times asking for answers to the faults found with the DURAVIT products- for 3 years I have not been unable to use the steam cabin and shower as it has leaked from day one as I got no assistance or answers from Sheths the retailer, I decided to ask for assistance from the actual company of DURAVIT and I am ABSOLUTELY appalled at the lack of basic customer service -OR INDEED ANY WILLINGNESS TO ASSIST, the contempt and ignorance shown to paying customers is quite shocking- I have had to resort to law in an attempt to get basic answers to a failing product- in total I spent around £8000 on their products which I have been unable to use as it’s become obvious that their is design faults with the products I purchased.
It’s become quite obvious now - from the reviews on here already experienced by others that the Management should take a long hard look at how they treat their customers- I learned a very important lesson and I hope this is of assistance to others who may be contemplating purchasing similar products.
Customers are at fault, not their products
Exspensive toilets and showers, but one push button broke (2x2cm)and they claim its been wrongly pushed... Maybe an product design flaw!!? How many ways can you push a button so tiny when you have to push it hard to get the water to flush...
Also bought a sensowash toilet. Something is wrong - the metal parts are rusting and water is running under the plastic and its not happening when using the toilet - we of course checked several times - they claim its becuase we are using Strong cleaning agents and maybe urinating on it... Well thx.. and the 2 other toilets without the sensowash top, funny enough they have no rust, even though we use the same cleaning stuff all around the house.
We also bought a rainshower - the top is only 20 cm from the wall - we have to stand up along the wall almost pressed to the wall to be in the center.
Did they try their own products...
They of course take no blame at all - we are done with Duravit, and wont be recommending them to others.
Faulty and dangerous Flush Panel-…
Faulty and dangerous Flush Panel- Duravit will not accept responsibility
I really wish I'd believed the below reviews before I spent a lot of money on Duravit products for 3 bathrooms.
My issue relates to their glass flush panels. They look beautiful, however, they are not fit for purpose. The flush buttons fall off before you can mount them onto the wall and once you manage to get them mounted the whole panel falls off after very little use.
The problem with these panels is that they are made of glass which shatters when it falls off the wall. This is not only dangerous as sharp glass goes everywhere but the panels themselves are so heavy that they break anything they land onto. I've been left with a chipped and cracked toilet and tiles.
Duravit asked me to send over a photo showing how the system had been installed. I'm not a photographer and as I suffer with disabilities it's difficult for me to take a perfectly level photo.
Duravit took advantage of this by claiming that their technical department had reviewed the photo which showed that the flush panel system had not been installed level and that's why it fell off.
What a ridiculous thing for them to claim. I then had to put level on the system and take another photo which clearly shows it's been installed level.
I was told a replacement panel would be sent out as a gesture of goodwill but it's been over a month and I've recieved nothing.
Duravit are refusing to do anything to resolve the damage caused to my new Duravit toilet and tiles and they are prepared to leave a disabled person like this.
My only option now is to take legal action against Duravit.
Poor quality products and customer service.
I purchased duravit stark 3 basins that were installed in a double vanity unit. After a week (7 days) of instillation and use one of the units had visible blemishes in the glaze. In the following days the second unit also had blemishes. After contacting Duravit (who refused to inspect the units) they offered to supply new basins "as a jesture of goodwill". In Australia, Duravit have a 5 year warranty (parts and labour) - the units were in warranty. After lengthy correspondence (3 months) with the Duravit agent in Australia (who blamed the plumber / cabinet maker / stonemason / ourselves for negligence) the blemished had deteriorated to a point that over 100 cracks could be seen on each basins glaze). Only after threatening legal action did Duravit offer to pay to have new units supplied and fitted.
logo impossible to remove
I wouldn't buy duravit again. no problem with the actual basin YET but it comes with a very visible logo that is impossible to remove. I got a duravit ME by Starck inset basin. BE WARNED - if you want a clean look in your bathroom, go elsewhere
