Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 73 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the product, citing poor quality and an overall negative user experience. They frequently mentioned issues with the game's performance, including optimization problems, crashes, and bugs, which detracted from their enjoyment. The pricing was also a point of contention, with many feeling it was too high for the value received, especially given the game's unfinished state and the developers' perceived focus on monetary gain over player satisfaction. Additionally, the presence of cheaters and unbalanced gameplay elements were frequently highlighted as major frustrations, making the game feel unfair and unrewarding for many.

Escape From Tarkov is not worth it!

Escape from Tarkov in itself is a great concept and a fun one. But there's so much that the game and development lacks after 7 almost 8 years of beta release. I have spent 1000+ hours on EFT on and off but finally decided that I will quit the game for good. And there's many reasons for that, to start of with is the mega cheating problem. BSG makes money of having cheaters in their game and that just makes it unplayable for "real" players. Secondly, the game is way to unstable to manage. By saying that the software of the game has way to many buggs and glitches which results in ALOT of game crashes. And by this point the game fully crashes my PC every time I even open the game. BSG also doesn't give a shit about their game. They are a development team who only care about money and not what the customers actually want and need. The game itself is also way to overpriced rn for what you get, IT*S NOT WORTH IT FOR NOW!!!!!

So to summarize, game=bad state bsg=don't care. Just don't buy this game its way to steep of a learning curve and is basically a fancy money grab.

Battles State Games allows too many…

Battles State Games allows too many cheaters for the game to be fun.

Funny thing is, how can there always be so many hacks and cheats unless the devs were developing and releasing them to the pay sites that offer the cheats.

From Classic Tarkov to Arena.... cannot go a match or two and you have some crazy stuff going on. Mention it in support forums or discord and you get banned.

Company is publishing their own hacks and when they say they have banned thousand of hacker accounts it is so that can resell those copies and perpetuate the narrative. Great game, but scam team and devs but what do you expect from a Russian company.

Was literally a perfect game 5 years ago

Was literally a perfect game 5 years ago. Now its... bad.

1. Game changes that make the game worse. Want to walk around outside? Too cold. Want to get loot? Cant, you picked up a gun already and its heavy... Want to shoot your gun? It jammed. Whoopsies. Want realism? Surgically repair your entire body in 60 seconds and have your silencer glow hotter than Mordor after shooting 1 mag. Want to play PVE to avoid a cheater in 60% of your lobbies? Go for it. But enjoy relentless scav swarms that spawn on top of you till you die.
2. Cheaters. I did my own research after the "wiggle" came out. It was more or less accurate. You will have a cheater in your lobby at least 50% of the time. Isn't that fun! But, they get banned... right? Wrong. I've seen cheaters make it to level 45 before finally getting banned. But guess what!? BSG will sell them a discounted new copy to cheat again! YAY! (Not a joke, has been confirmed they sell bulk games for dirt cheap to the people they just banned).
3. Questing. "Provide oral stimulation to Prapors thang on the Woods map while staying prone for the entire match. Must extract with 2 bottles of his seed and wear a purple thong and scav vest while doing so."

Bought PVE mode but it feels like a cash grab (20€) and not even half finished. Every bot is turning on you on the whole map...you kill like 15 to 20 scavs/player bots or even more...You havent enough time to loot because after a fight every bot seems to just come to you. And so you cannott barely exit.

Main game is also unplayable because of the immense amount of cheaters! Search for "wiggle cheaters" on youtube. A famous streamer revealed how many are actual cheating in this game. It is insane.

Unfair Refund Policy for the "new" PVE mode to Escape From Tarkov

I tried to refund the PVE mode (a paywalled version of a mod that already exists) for Escape From Tarkov due to lack of features and overall playability but was not provided a refund even after only two hours of purchasing. Very greedy and lack of community support . I am disappointed with my purchase.

I’ve been playing the game for 2 hours…

I’ve been playing the game for 2 hours now this morning and literally haven’t even got into the first raid this game has been out longer than some of the player base has been alive but nobody sees a problem with this at this point sounds like the office just needs to go through firing and rehiring because how does your game still not work after 10 years of production that’s ridiculous whoever is behind the scenes of this game need to be disappointed in themselves you can download any free to play game and it work so much better than this garbage ass game and you have to spend 300 just to be up to pace with everyone in game but even after doing so you can’t even play the game when you want to you just have to sit around for hours and maybe get into 1 or 2 raids the state of this game currently is awful someone just needs to actually focus on what issues are going on with the game instead of constantly trying to add or fix something that ends up making the game run worse anyway

Paid $386 to play PVE which is almost unplayable with the amount of bugs currently.
A.I no your exact location from spawning, PMC A.I are either running into walls or three man teamimg on you.
BSG don't seem to put much effort into the PVE side. The zombies event was a fail, and I feel they were only being tested in Tarkov to be used in a completely seperate game.
Very dissapointed for the cost of this game.

Don’t buy this game

If you buy this game you run the risk of getting ban for no reason or explanation. Woke up one day and my account was ban. There response was “Battlestate Games Limited is not required to provide the User with evidence of the breach by the User of the terms of the Agreement resulting in the User's access being terminated or restricted”. Super uncool.

rampant cheating aimbot level a.i

rampant cheating aimbot level a.i. spend 15 minutes looting only to die from a very suspect death. they still havent put in a kill cam or an ability to see how you died similar to cs go which allows you to watch your match back and if need report. the only thing which is actually good is the gunsmith but over all this game is a waste of time and money do not buy this scam

Banning Accounts for being "hacked"…

Banning Accounts for being "hacked" even if you can Prove that it is your Account which has been hacked but not Played on by the Person who hacked the Account they will not unban the Account, you will have to Buy a new Game Key. Thats the most shady Business practice out of all not talking about their extremely weird TOS. So basically if they want they can say your account has been Compromised and according to their TOS they will Perma ban the Account. Support wont help either they just point at the TOS. Scammers. I you login from a new pc after some time there is a good chance your account will be blocked (Perma Banned) according to their absolute Horrible support they dont unban ANYONE.
But ofcourse Streamers, because obviously everyone would then see what kind of trash Company this is.

the devs are crap, thier anti-cheat is so bad you just have to put your cheat 3 folders deep and it can't detect it. servers are even worse, you stand behind a wall and get shot, you disconnect from the servers randomly
