Staff are friendly and helpful. The changing area could be cleaner and the temperature of the water a bit warmer...it's getting colder week by week!

Really nice pool with a good schedule. Hairdryers cost 20p/use and you are not allowed to use your own. Makes no sense in my mind.

The perpetual disappointment
The perpetual disappointment,
Lack of hygiene,
Lack of services that you pay an extortionate amount of money for
An abundance of 'Out of Order' signs
The steam room does not have steam.
The sauna does not have heat.
The showers in the spa do not work, nor does the drainage.
The lockers are missing the keys.

No Swim-only membership available.
Disappointed that you’re forced into a contract which includes gym to be able to be a member of the pool at Stevenage.
None of the other pools across the country do this, just Stevenage for some reason. Their gym is awful, you can’t park anywhere without being forced to pay extortionate parking charges.
We just want to be able to sign up for a swimming only membership as we swim every weekend and it’s costing us too much money doing it this way.
I hope Everyone Active read this and take it on board, as I think they’ll have more members this way. The changing rooms are ok, could do with a deeper clean once in a while, but I have been to worse. Also you don’t really get an hour of swimming, more like 50 minutes as they make sure everyone is out before letting others in.
Please create a swimming membership and I’ll sign up to it right away. We don’t all want to use the gym too.

Pool without access to hairdryers :(
Really nice pool with a good schedule. Hairdryers cost 20p/use and you are not allowed to use your own. Makes no sense in my mind.
A very stressful experience.
A very stressful experience.
Today the first time in a while, I had the misfortune to visit the Stevenage Swimming pool.
Arriving at about 12.30. I was told to 1 o’clock to swim even through the school afternoon session was not due to start until 1.30.
Its seems very evident to me that all the staff on duty were focused on was throwing members of the public out on the hour & not on saving lives.
One speaking to several members of staff on the way out who seemed very unhappy at the current way the pool was being managed & the amount of abuse the current policies were coursing to members of staff. This being staff under great pressure & affecting the staff mental wellbeing.
I ask one of the staff where were all the older people who used to be in the pool. I was told they have been driven out & have gone elsewhere.
It seems the pool has become a sole less place run by imbeciles. I would hope that you reconsider the stupid time rules that have been introduced. I have no Idea who they suit, but its not me & its clearly not the other members of the public, as the pool was empty.
Please can you let me know when the crazy system ends & I may return as a customer. But in the meantime, as I do not need any further stress in my life I will have to swim in either in Letchworth or Hitchin pools instead. Where I guess it, property be very busy with all the others that abandoned the Stevenage pool.
Ps. This press release of the Stevenage borough website is a joke. Its talks of 35yrs experience, upgrades to the Changing Village (lockers, showers, toilets).
You need to take a visit to the site.

What a waste of a perfectly good pool
What a waste of a perfectly good pool. Tried to take my granddaughter who is 1 and a half at 10.30 in the morning to be told the baby pool only opens for and hour a day between 3.00 till 4.00. Was told I could take her in the deep end of the main pool as that’s all that’s open. Really!!!!!
