I have been purchasing all my plants from FGT's over the last two years and not one has died!! I thought one was dead, talked with customer service and did the scratch test and it turns out it was just a late bloomer. The packaging is amazing and everything I've received has been in great shape. I'll continue to purchase from FGT's!!!

The plants are TINY compared to what I can get at a local nursery for the same price. I ordered two honeysuckle plants. One arrive in decent shape. The other came with multiple broken branches and it looks like there is a fungus on the leaves. Spend your money locally for better results.

Ordered a Meyer Lemon & Satsumi Manderin Tree. Received notice that they were shipped, arriving today, 4/29.
Only the Manderin arrived but the website indicated both were delivered. I called and spoke to a rep. Monica who told me the Meyer Lemon is currently unavailable. I asked why the website states both were delivered. She didnt know but said the Lemon tree is due in on 5/11 and after quality control, it'll be shipped on 5/18.
So, I was never told of a delay but they listed as available when I purchased and delivered and now, have to wait an additional 3+ weeks for the second tree to arrive?
Had planned on ordering additional items to complete my backyard however, doubt that'll be happening now due to them failing to indicate the tree was out of stock, poor communication and an, almost 1 month wait to receive what I ordered.
I'll go back to the seller I was originally going to buy from. Cost a bit more but you get what you order and they don't say they have items that are actually out of stock. Glad I wasn't gifting this to someone. I would've looked like an ass.......

How about honoring the year warranty on a Black knight butter fly bush that died within a year oh they offered my a 20% discount on a reorder lol then offered 47 dollars off with 20 dollar shipping fee. I'm going to stick with Brecks way better company no arguments they just send out a replacement. Will never ever order anything from Fast growing trees again. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. The plants arrived in poor condition and were not viable for planting. I contacted the seller right away, and they initially acknowledged the issue and offered store credit. However, they later refused to honor that resolution.
Based on this experience, I would be cautious when ordering. Inconsistent Customer service and don't bother leaving a review on their site . They only post 5 star reviews.

My Okame cherry tree arrived with black shriveled leaves. They had chopped the taproot down to less than 6 inches and no other supporting roots. I called their claims line and provided ample pictures of the serious quality failures and they lied claiming it’s normal and I got what I ordered. The tree is dead from 3 ft up and I ordered a 5-6ft live tree. Nowhere did the listing say it would come bare rooted and severely chopped off. They shoved a stick into a burlap sack of mulch (not even soil) and tried to pass it off as normal. Complete waste of money and ruined my memorial to a loved one who passed to top it off. Cannot be trusted.
I also tried to leave an honest review with pictures of its unhealthy unboxing state on their own website. It has yet to be posted 3 days later. They appear to be filtering out negative reviews on their own website.
Also notice how most of the positive reviews here are not grammatically correct and are extremely vague, as if written by an international customer support team for example?
**Update. Only after posting this review did they reach out to me to do the right thing and accept the obvious guarantee claim. Will update on condition of the replacement when received.

i placed a order in march was told would ship in April, i called 4 times to get updates was told everything fine. call after they were supposed to be shipped and then told don't know when they will be shipped. none ever emailed called or nothing it was only a 73 dollar purchase but really? i have purchased from them before but never again after this experience

Charged for trees that weren’t ready. Wasn’t informed at all, delivery is now 7-10 days late. Made arrangements to take off work to plant them. I have 5 trees and 4 shrubs coming and no more time off work. No time to plant them. Don’t know when the trees will arrive at this point in time. Most likely, I will not be here when they do. I asked if the trees could be expedited. I was told no. I asked for a refund. I was told no. Fast growing trees have unethical business practices. I will never trust this business to order again. No effort to make the situation right or better.

This is my first time of ordering with the company. I’m thinking about cancelling my second order I placed. First of all, I received a bonanza peach “tree” and I use tree loosely because it was literally a twig with some roots that snapped during shipping. They did refund that order but I also am having issues with another tree I ordered (three trees all together). This one was an apple tree with four small branches. Well two of the branches were dead upon arrival and I’m unsure what cause the death but it appears to be moving down the tree limbs. Now i have a tree with two small limbs that appear to have some fungal issue from what I’ve researched. They refuse to issue a new tree and stated just to cut off the damaged branches. Well that is half of the tree. I’m honestly very upset since I had the 1 year guarantee that my tree would be alive and THRIVE and it is not thriving. Very disappointing. They guarantee in their own writing “We guarantee your plants will arrive alive, healthy and ready to thrive in your yard! Our Alive & Thrive Guarantee provides a one-time replacement (shipping costs not included) in the event of:
Plant quality issues
Fungus or disease within 4 weeks of arrival
Plant dying within the coverage period
Incorrect plant delivered
Insects or insect damage within 4 weeks of arrival
Each live plant product in the customer's order is eligible for a one-time replacement. “ This did not match the way the company handled the tree that I showed evidence of having PLANT QUALITY ISSUES within less than a month of receiving. I’m so much so upset with the disregard by their own advertising that I filed a complaint with the BBB. I would not order from them unless you okay with cutting the tree you receive in half.

February of 2026, I placed an order with Fast Growing Trees. It was a pre sale and was scheduled to be delivered the week of March 29, 2026. Just prior to expected shipping date, I received an email stating my trees would be shipped the following week.
Since then I have not received any further correspondence from the company..... I however have called at least three times and was told the order was processing and I would receive my trees.
Today I called and was informed my order is no longer processing and they do not have trees for me. They failed to inform me in any way that they were not shipping me trees... It is only that I contacted them that my order was cancelled and money returned. They have NO idea of when they will get more of the trees I ordered in….This is a completely unacceptable business practice.

I've ordered 6 orders from Fast Growing Trees (with multiple items in most of the orders). All of them have been great. I've worked with their customer service before, and they're always polite, helpful, and quick to solve any issues (I had ordering issues with their website).
My plants have thrived. Just because there's a website guarantee doesn't mean that you don't have to properly care for the plants.
I ordered again this month, and I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

I reached out regarding one of our Thujas from an order of 10 that had died. It was clearly dead in all of the pictures I sent, and they still refused replacing it well within the warranty. Buy local and save yourself the hassle and disappointment.

I ordered and paid for several plants which were indicated as in stock and given a projected delivery date. When plants did not arrive (or had not even been shipped) I contacted Fast Growing Trees as to the delay. 1. The plants I ordered (and paid for) were never really available.
2. Fast Growing Trees did not let me know of the delay (I had to contact them) and did not have a projected time (if any) that they would be able to fulfill my order.
They could have not taken my order since they never had the inventory and at least could have informed me of a delay (or no intention to fulfill the order), but instead chose to keep my money until I complained and had to request a cancelation. They should be more honest and up front and attempt to keep the customer in the loop when problems arrise!
