I spent $500 per tree and I got poor quality for the price I paid. The trees are barely 5 feet tall, some almost six, very slim and poor quality. Even if the shipping caused some damage, the price for... See more

We’re as close to the farm as it gets. Our plants are sourced from the best growers across the country, cared for by our in-house Plant Experts and shipped straight to your yard. This means you're shopping straight from the source and guaranteed (yes, we guarantee them!) fresh, thriving plants. Forget the leftovers—with us, you get first dibs on the biggest, freshest selection of privacy trees, shrubs, shade trees, fruits, flowering trees, house plants, perennials, tropicals and more, all from the comfort of your home.

I ordered and paid for several plants which were indicated as in stock and given a projected delivery date. When plants did not arrive (or had not even been shipped) I contacted Fast Growing Trees as to the delay. 1. The plants I ordered (and paid for) were never really available.
2. Fast Growing Trees did not let me know of the delay (I had to contact them) and did not have a projected time (if any) that they would be able to fulfill my order.
They could have not taken my order since they never had the inventory and at least could have informed me of a delay (or no intention to fulfill the order), but instead chose to keep my money until I complained and had to request a cancelation. They should be more honest and up front and attempt to keep the customer in the loop when problems arrise!

Customer service was outstanding. She went out of her way to make sure my decisions were all correct. Thank you!!

This company is run by bots and people that have no clue about orders or plants. My order was expected 4/13/26–3 trees. Today , 14 days later one shows up in the box that had been in the box since 4/8. It’s half dead and the saddest tree I’ve ever seen. Stay far away from this company.

Trees lives past the 60 guarantee, but then died in the spring

I purchased 4 trees of the same variety. Shipping was fine. Three of the trees were fine. The fourth tree is JUNK. Seems like they saw an opportunity to get rid of a terrible tree and selected it for me. I contacted their customer service which is a poorly implemented AI bot. I finally asked for a human when it became clear the AI bot was just wasting my time. A day later I received an email from customer service asking for more information to which I responded. Now I have been ghosted — no response at all! I do not know if the email was more than just bot generated as well. I think you are better off to deal with a local seller as product quality here seems at best random and their customer service appears to be nothing more than an exercise in frustration.
Update: Received a request for more information from the company so they could verify I am an actual customer. I immediately provided them with my order number. Hmmmm. Maybe they could have just looked at all my communications with their terrible customer service. But, their request seems consistent with my experience to date suggesting that their customer service is merely automated and designed to ignore rather than address concerns. Frustrating!
Second update: After verifying I was a customer and reviewing my earlier ignored complaints, the company offered to send me out a replacement tree, but they are out of stock and will not ship for 6 weeks. I will follow up when the replacement arrives. At this juncture, it appears that onc you get through the first level customer service that feels like it is designed to frustrate you into simply giving up, the company operates as would be expected of a reputable company. I do appreciate finally hearing from a human.

Edited to add that my delivery status has NOT been clarified despite the company’s response. It still shows 4/15 for shipping and it’s 4/21. I have tried several times to get an updated ship date but have not been able to. Based on this fiction I would NOT recommend this company nor will I order from them again.
I have ordered in the past and received the plants just fine. I placed an order weeks ago for 4 ferns with a ship date of "week of 4/15". The order immediately went to "in progress" and that has been the status since placing it. The week of 4/15 has come and gone and no update on shipping. I am going out of town and need to make arrangements for someone to receive the packages if they arrive while I am gone so I have been trying to get an update from their customer service. They just keep telling me that the order is processing. They are saying that it was a pre-order (nothing in my order says that) and most likely it will ship "this week". But they can't give me any actual information, and the language barrier was difficult so I finally just gave up after she kept repeating it was "processing" - which again, it has been since I placed the order almost a month ago.

Overall, I am satisfied with my experience with Fast Growing Trees. We ordered several fruit trees and a grape vine. I do feel like packaging could be better with shipping as we did have 2 trees that came damaged, but customer service handled the issue quickly and efficiently. Otherwise, they all arrived healthy, and they are doing very well so far. I would purchase from them again.

I ordered 2 trees and when they arrived BOTH were unhealthy and one was missing stem
Support. I contacted customer service and also sen pictures they requested. The were doing everything they can from refunding or just exchanging the tree. These are very shady people.. BUYER BEWARE!!

I paid for a tree and after two months still hadn’t received it. When I called customer service, they said it’ll be at least another month because they don’t have any trees!!!! They had my $300 and never contacted me to say I was never gonna get my tree.

Lying will not be tolerated. Your website advertises 1 year guarantee on all plant yet you declined my claim well before a year. It is pathetic you are lying to your customers and declining claims as if it was 60 days. I will not tolerate this and will be canceling the transaction with my bank. I expect a full refund. You have the evidence that the plant died and you advertise that it is a year still today. Stop lying your not getting away with this. Also zero way to contact or upload a claim.

I’ve spent about $1000 on plants here in the last 2 years and overall the plants I’ve received have been in good shape and growing well. And up until today the customer service has been good when something has been delayed or missed. Quennie was always great to deal with. I preordered some trees and shrubs in January and was given estimated delivery dates…totally fine. But when the week it was supposed to be shipped arrived, I received no communications about changes in delivery. Reached out and got some delivery updates…great. Was supposed to get a shrub this week and no word on actual delivery date…kind of important when needed to find someone to dig a hole for you. I reached out twice to their chatbot and didn’t really get far. Checked on order status today and found that a tree I purchased in January that had been rescheduled from April to now being delivered in May is cheaper today than when I bought it in January!?! On top of that, the current tree for
Sale says the delivery is April 22nd, What?!? Either that is a lie or I am getting screwed. I reached out, got someone named Isreal. Told them the situation and instead of providing me with the current price and delivery, they just canceled both the long awaited shrub but also the tree and will refund me. I really just wanted and have been planning these since January but at a fair price. Didn’t even try to offer me what a current customer would get, after I’ve been a returning and paying customer!! Just bad business. Buyer Beware!

Two of my 3 Chicago-Hardy figs did not make it through their first winter. The company offered no help; said the guarantee expired ?

I order 2 tea olive trees and there is another vine growing with orange trumpet flowers and I can't find the original order and when I look up my orders on the site it doesn't show anything of my past orders at all. But I also have a plant that is on back order. I had to reach out to fastgrowtree to tell them and they tell me it will ship June 15. What? It didn't say that on the site. Why so late. But how come I can not see anything on my own computer on when I placed the order 11/19/2025 and I can not see anything on there own site of my past orders either, they do this stuff on purpose. If you do not hold onto your paperwork your out of luck. I'm just staying with my local company. The hell with the online crap. The vine plant dead. I have zero info on it. Junk. The lady said she can't find it. I will never order from them again. Hope to get my purple plant. Andy Johnson

As a 15 year customer, I have very good experience with the FastGrowingTree company. The crew are educate answering my questions when I call, it doesn’t take them that long to pick up the phone and talk friendly.
I like to bring to those tree and nature lovers that do a little research about the tree that you try to order on your zone.
Lastly i highly recommend tree lovers to order a pack of the ROOT ROCKET to enhance root growth.
I recommend this company.
Thanks

Purchased some beautiful decorative grass online last spring. As of the middle of April still no sign of it coming back. Called customer service, he answered right away and had my account pulled up immediately. Told me that grass is a later bloomer but assured me that if I still see nothing in one month it is 100% covered. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. They have a beautiful website!

Do yourself a favor and just go to your local store instead. This is the absolute worst experience I have had in my lifetime with any company or customer service. I make it very short: I booked my trees for a specific date and they somehow decided to send them 3-4 days earlier. Their customer service repeats the same scripted sentence and refuses to connect me to any of their managers. Multiple calls over two days in a row, and I now have a tree in front of my door that I cannot plant because they sent it on a random day and they take zero responsibility for it.

Bought three expensive Maple trees from them two were ok, one was tall, but really skinny and ugly. Planted the three. The ugly one didn't thrive and didn't come back from the winter. All the three are side by side, so there's not different treatment for each one, They're all watered and cared the same way, take same amount of sun.
Called the company to complain. They said they would not honor the warranty because it's out of the warranty period (which ended in the middle of the winter, December).
So, How was I supposed to know that a Maple tree would be dead in December, with no leaves? Should I have complained in the middle of the winter?
This is BS. Never buying anything from them again. And I should have returned that ugly maple the day I received.

1) Seller Flagged my review for harmful content, so Trustpilot might take it down
2) Seller replied to my review saying they tried to contact me. It is a lie.
For that, I’m downgrading my review to 1 star.
Stay away from this company
