Had the rain cap I needed in stainless steel at a reasonable price and got it to me in a couple of days. Checked all the boxes.

Kit arrived very promptly and directions were straightforward. Worse part was trying not to get the sticky stuff on you as we installed the insulation wrap....but that was us not it.

After much research, I decided on a FireFlex 6" smooth wall liner for my chimney. My chimney is constructed of brick and has 8x8 clay liners installed which measure 6.25-6.5" inside so I thought I'd be good to go with a 6" liner and pour-in insulation. My order was received very quickly which was great! Shortly thereafter is where everything went south. Upon attempting to install, I found that the liner fit extremely tightly in the flue due to my tiles not lining with each other up perfectly. In fear of damaging, I stopped and gave Fireside a call about returning for a 5.5" liner. They said that they could not accept a return since I had already attempted to install the liner. At this point I decided to give it a try with a bit more effort. After getting the liner about 10 feet down my 22 foot chimney, I attempted to turn the liner and split it in two pieces. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with a $1,300 pile of scrap. Having just bought this house a few months back and dumping all of my savings into it, this is a huge blow. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and give yourself a comfortable margin of error when you're deciding upon a liner size!!

Had to replace an old galvanized chimney top and ordered a new stainless steel from them. They were extremely helpful with the ordering process. Once it arrived, everything fit like a glove and looks 100% better!

What a fantastic experience ordering a custom-sized stainless steel chase cover from this company! I was off on my spec sheet submittal by 1/8th of an inch. They called me to discuss my measurements and made recommendations I had not considered before. The cover arrived un-damaged and incredibly quick. It is so very nicely constructed and all this at half of what I would have had to pay a local sheet metal fabricator.

I ordered online and was almost immediately contacted via phone to clarify and make a change due to my ordered dimensions being outside your ability to fulfill. Through discussion we arrived at a very workable solution and that's what was delivered. My wife and I followed the directions and the assembly and installation went without a hitch.

The chimney cap came quickly. It was beautiful once it was put together and put on top of my roof. Amazing find.

It was an uneventful experience! Following the measuring directions e ordering was user friendly. The chimney cap fit’s precisely as outlined in the directions. Assembly is simple, anchor bolts and masonry drill bit was provided along with construction adhesive. Not necessary to run to the hardware for parts and/or tools!

I have ordered two chase covers from this company, both suburb quality and as I only needed the second one due to a gross miscalculation on my part I had to call and work through my problem, not only was the advice helpful and sound I was left with the feeling that someone had genuinely cared and wanted to help. 5 stars..
