Bad online service and delivery
This was my second experience with gall & gall which didn’t turn out well. Once, I got my delivery a few days later because the delivery service didn’t ring the bell or leave a message that he was there. I had to call the CS and told them what happens. I spent some times dealing with this. This week, I ordered a bottle of champagne for friends. The website said it would be delivered the next day. Two days later they didn’t get it. I contacted the CS, and they told me that my ordered wasn’t processed and now they don’t have the bottle I wanted anymore so they reimbursed me the money (still waiting). They didn’t even take any action of contacting me letting the know the situation. Thus, sure this things can happened but if you plan to send things or buy things to get things delivered, you should try other shops or if you can go to their physical shops at AH instead of waiting your time and money ordering it online. Terrible online service.

I live in Rotterdam and placed an order on Sunday 19 Dec for delivery lastest 21 Dec. A week before this I had paid for a membership card which I did get a couple days after ordering that. I tried to contact Gall&Gall customer service from 22 to 24th Dec, no answer. On 24 Dec I was able to track the shipment and found it storred at a local post office point. With my ID I claimed the box, only to find that a bottle of red wine was missing. Again could not reach customer service so wrote an e-mail on 24 Dec and till Today 29 Dec, NO Reply. I WILL NEVER ORDER GALL&GALL EVER AGAIN!
Non delivery - ruined surprise
I ordered a bottle of champagne for a post marathon surprise. It was quite difficult to order from the UK but I managed it. I paid extra for Sunday delivery. Guess what? At 8.30 they messaged to say it wouldn't be delivered. They told me it was because the driver had trouble with his car. Really? In 2021 they have no other driver? Or basically, they couldn't give a toss for customer service. Surprise ruined. Don't bother - go elsewhere. There MUST be better service somewhere else.
Sending from Abroad
It is impossible to send a present to a friend, if the sender does not live in The Netherlands. How is this possible in the 21st century. This company was stuck in the Iron Age. Worst customer service EVER!
Don't bother if you don't have an NL billing address even if the delivery address is in NL
I tried to order online a case of wine as a gift for an Amsterdam-based friend. You have to put in the delivery address details in a way that the system accepts, which meant spending a lot of time trying to get it to accept the address. After that I tried to put in my billing address details, but as that address is outside the Netherlands, they wouldn't accept it. I then wasted time on the online chat trying to understand why the system wasn't working, and only then did they say they won't process foreign cards. This is not a customer-focused company.

Very poor customer service. 4 days in in no return email. Online chat useless. No help at all. Going somewhere else...
It is almost as if they work hard to give bad service
If you are shocked at the extremely low rating Gall and Gall gives, you probably have not dealt with their awful service. Once you finally reach customer service, they will assure you they will immediately address your problem and get back to you. Then you will hear nothing until you complain again at which time they will tell you how busy they are. Then you cancel and they refund money without any explanation of what went wrong. Small competitors are on the increase and they will win in the long run if not sooner.
I will never use Gall & Gall again, ever.
This shop has the worst service I have ever experienced as an online shop internationally ... They even falsely claimed that I had not been at home for delivery, while I was at home all day. Entirely unacceptable. And the service phone line is ... just not being answered ... over 45 minutes.
Beware! Stay away from this shop and franchise, and honour your kind local private wine and liquor dealer.

Delivery arrived outside the paid for slot, only half the order was delivered, the rest will follow later in the afternoon. One glass purchased was broken. Customer service phone line cuts callers off after two minutes so could not speak with them and contact via email wi take 3 days before they respond. AWFUL SERVICE WILL Not USE AGAIN
