Great alternative to Outlook
I've had Mailbird since 2018. Having used Outlook for many years, Mailbird has become a great alternative. Love it!
Mailbird has won me
When the new MS outlook trashed my system by forcefully overwriting windows live mail and became a disfunctional entity I looked for a new mail client that also catered for unification and was user friendly. I tried Mailbird for 3 days and was impressed so I opted for the premium membership. I had a couple of hiccups which were problems my end, one was that my OS would show Mailbird as the preferred app but Mailbird was flagging that it was not the preferred app. After of quite some time and many days of ticket sessions and me pointing the finger at Mailbird I had to eat my words because the continual flagging was a hardware problem my end and was fixed by changing my modem/router. Mailbird support was patient and courteous with me over this time and except for weekends was responding on a daily basis.
I am impressed with support as well as the ease of use and the many functions of Mailbird. several months now and so far so good. Mailbird has won me.

Their support is pretty solid as well. They respond quickly to questions.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I wasn't upgraded to version 3, and there's no option for a one-time payment to secure a lifetime upgrade.
BETTER THAN OTHERS
We had issues with Outlook was looking for another alternative for emails and Found It. Mailbird. We haven't subscribed but we like the free version as we don't need all the fancy applications that comes with it, as we have them separate. But better than Outlook any day.
Mailbird is the Windows App that you want to have
Let me start by saying, I had be a lifelong member with Mailbird Version 2. But in that version, there were functionalities that were missing, and no timeline was set for implementation. Then when Version 3 was released, I was entrenched with a competing product. I am a GMAIL user with multiple accounts, so it is very important that my GMAIL remain the central service. So, I decided to give Version 3 a walk through.
As with any app, there are questions, and areas that don’t exactly make sense. But I will say that with the Customer Happiness Team, a catchy group name, you are with a solid group of people. This group will listen as a user, understand completely what is trying to be accomplished and then help you get it done. This is not a response and forget group, then is a group “where are here, to get this done group.”
If nothing else, try the free version and see how it can make a difference for you.

On your website, you mention that it exists a free version with reduced functionalities. Using the software after a week, a warning notice appeared explaining that the trial périod will end very soon.

I use Mailbird on my PC to replace both Outlook and Gmail's web app. I like the simple layout and especially like being able to access my Google Calendar from the Mailbird app. I was having a problem getting Mailbird to accept my license key which was very frustrating. I asked for tech assistance and within a few hours I had a response and solution from Mailbird. They also followed up a day later to ensure the issue was resolved.

I've used Mailbird for some years now and it's a very easy to use mail program. I'm a personal user and find it has the features I require. I would definitely recommend it and if you require help it's a fast response.

The app doesn't have basic sorting functionality.
It offers a 14 day money back guarantee, but then the support email is not in service.
Support calls are not answered at all.
I had no other option then to go directly to their payment provider to get my money back

I recently moved back to Mailbird
I recently moved back to Mailbird after using Outlook on my Windows PC for the last couple of years. The license that I had previously purchased wouldn't activate, so I contacted customer support for assistance. I received a quick response from one of their agents, Diego Martinez, who resolved the problem.
I find that Mailbird has a much cleaner interface than Outlook, and opens much quicker when opening for the first time.
The only negative is that, unlike Outlook, there is no print preview. I have to guess how many pages I need when printing an email.
Mailbird Pro Lifetime isn't lifetime.
I purchased a "Mailbird Pro Lifetime" license in 2017. My invoice explicitly states "Lifetime" and does not mention any specific version restriction (like V2).
Now that Version 3 is out, Mailbird refuses to honor my contract. They are trying to force existing Lifetime customers to pay again for an upgrade, claiming that "Lifetime" only meant "the lifetime of the old version". This is a retroactive change of terms and violates EU consumer protection laws.
Support (Ticket #549488) only sends copy-paste templates about "new AI features" and ignores the legal reality of the original purchase contract.
"Mailbird 3.0 is far more than just one of our regular update packages: it includes a wide range of new features and improvements which we have developed tirelessly behind the scenes for most of last year, which set it aside from Mailbird 2.x in a radical way. These features and improvements dramatically expand its capabilities and improve its appearance based on the precious feedback we have been collecting from customers over the past few years."
I bought "lifetime" and not "regular update package".
Warning to new customers: Do not trust their "Pay Once" offers. They might redefine the terms years later just to make you pay again. Dishonest business practice.

I've used Mailbird for some years now. It's very easy to use mail program. I'm a personal user but upgraded to the pro version. It's packed with useful features. I'd certainly recommend it and the help if you need it's a fast response.
Stand behind their product, even when you purhcase lifetime license!
I purchased Mailbird lifetime subscription then transitioned from a Windows machine to an Apple. Mailbird technical team was very responsive (on Thanksgiving if you can believe it!) and helped me navigate downloading the program from their website, then adding my lifetime license to the program. I was worried due to purchasing it several years ago and that they would encourage me to purchase another license, they didn't! They stood by their product and supported me with installing on my new computer. I really appreciated their patience and support to help me through the process!

I love Mailbird! It is so clear and easy to use and excellent if you have several emails to manage. I've been using it for several years, recently I had a bit of a glitch when I changed my PC and couldnt work out what to do, luckily I had some expert help and support from Shubham and now I am running as before so all good and a happy customer. Let me start by saying Maibird is a great email client. I have access to all my email accounts along with many of productivity apps. It is definitely a 5 star app. What follows is why I gave it 4 stars. I was not aware Mailbird had switched to a subscription model for the new version. I had a Lifetime license for Mailbird that I purchase years ago. I recently bought a new Windows 11 PC. As per instructions, I downloaded Mailbird to the new PC and then copied over the Mailbird data from my old PC. Starting up Mailbird, an error message popped up stating my license was not compatible with the version I downloaded and it put me in trial mode. However, all my emails, calendars, etc. were fine. I contacted Mailbird support. The version on my old PC was 2.9.x and the new version is 3.0.x. My choices were to install the old version (support provided a link) or purchase a yearly subscription. I chose to subscribe. I got a new license and all is well.
