Speedy response

I received e mail to say order had been dispatched within hours and my great looking bulbs arrived within a couple of days. Delighted. I look forward to enjoying the display.

Disgusted

Called here for plants, garden ornaments, pots and equipment, also called in the cafe and had a snack and a drink, all good so far. Needed the loo 🤢 I was horrified, they were dirty, didn't look liked they had been cleaned in months had broken seats not that I would have sat on them but it really put me off even eating there again, disgusting is not the word. This was the Rochdale branch if anyone is interested.

We are terribly sorry to hear that you had a negative experience when visiting our Rochdale branch. Customer experience is of the utmost importance to us and we understand that cleanliness plays a key role in providing a positive customer experience which is why we employ a cleaning company to maintain our toilets to a high standard of cleanliness. Our toilets are cleaned by the professional cleaner every day except Saturday where a member of our staff inspects the toilets to ensure that they are acceptable. We will however certainly be looking in to this following your complaint and will of course replace any broken seats. We appreciate all feedback received and welcome the opportunity to improve wherever possible. We hope this has not deterred you from visiting us again in the future.

Home delivery

Easy to order online. Was advised driver would contact me regarding delivery date but goods ordered were left at front door without notification. Would have given 5 stars apart from this

Apologies for the delay however your first email went in to our junk folder and was not picked up. We did receive your second email and we have replied asking if you would like the event voucher emailing or posting and we are just waiting for your reply. Normally the booking confirmation you receive via email is your entry ticket however we are more than happy to create you a bespoke entry ticket which you can gift to your great granddaughter for her birthday.

Badly cooked food

My wife and I visited your Rochdale store restaurant as we have many times before but after these last few visits we have decided that the food quality is very poorly cooked (burnt on most items). The staff were not very friendly and wouldn’t take any notice when i complained the burnt sausages, tomatoes, black pudding and the cold toast. I feel like I paid good money for a couple of bad meals.

We are very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience when visiting our bistro. I have passed your feedback on to our bistro manager to look in to. Here at Gordon Riggs we strive for 100% customer satisfaction by providing food which is cooked to perfection and we are disappointed to hear that we fell below this high standard. We appreciate all feedback received and welcome the opportunity to improve wherever possible. Thank you

Good but could be better…

Hi, bought 1000kg of aggregate online which was in 20kg bags which suited me. I didn’t get a confirmation email for 2 days regarding my order, only after I phoned. I had to chase for delivery and then had to wait over a week for delivery as evidently it was a 2 man delivery job. When delivered there was….1 driver! To be fair he apologised and left the bags where I needed and he was very pleasant. For online orders there needs to be a better customer response and better communications with the delivery team. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t had these minor issues.
