Hauseit is a great way to sell
Hauseit is a great way to sell an apartment! Their brokers are amazing and the system is easy to work with. The exposure is great and of course the fee structure is fabulous! You have to have the time to show the unit yourelf but the savings are well worth it. I love working with these guys and can't imagine selling any other way.
Making my FSBO a breeze
Hauseit is the future, and more importantly, the present, of real estate. They are making my FSBO experience a breeze. I didn't expect any hand holding when I purchasing their minimum package, but they post edits lightning quick *and* offer helpful insights.
Their stunning and thorough 3D tour is the new real estate listing standard.
I'm grateful my personal contact information is kept off the listings. Instead, Hauseit replies to inquiries about my listing as soon as they come in, cc'ing me, saying I'll be in touch. What's more, if Hauseit knows the answer like "you can find the floorplan in the last of the photos" or "yes!, the property is still available," they will enthusiastically answer the question. No inquiry is left dangling.
(P.S. I recommend purchasing their photo and floorplan package. I didn't, but saw them and they are top of the field.)
absolutely terrific
absolutely terrific! go for it without a second thought! I can reassure you you won't regret it!
Awesome experience
Awesome experience working with Hauseit. We got all the online marketing exposure of a traditional broker for the cost of a FSBO. Hauseit provided great resources to help us price our home, manage open houses and offers, and ultimately close on a great deal. Yes, it took more of my time to communicate with buyers and their agents, but it saved me $25K. So worth it! Thank you Hauseit!
They have 2 options: "Agent assisted FSBO" where they do all the work for you and you pay 1% commission plus any commission you agree to pay to a buyer's broker (typically 2.5-3%). Or a full FSBO where you manage all the communications with potential buyers and their agents, and you only pay the commission to a buyer's broker. In either case, you'll also need to hire a real estate lawyer to manage your closing, but this is also far less than the typical 6% commission. Honestly, its not rocket science. If you're comfortable doing your own research to price your home, writing a description to "pitch" your property on listing sites, hosting open houses, following up on leads, and negotiating offers-- you can save yourself at least 3% of the sale price. It's well worth it!
Hauseit is amazing!
The team at Hauseit was outstanding and tremendously helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough. The partner broker I worked with was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, and I was so grateful for all of her expertise and so thrilled with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Hauseit to anyone in the market. They're truly amazing.
Great Team and Business Model!
A pleasure to do business with the Hauseit team - they have a model that works very well.
Recommended for buyers, too!
Most of the reviews I've seen for Hauseit are written by sellers. On the other hand, I used their services to purchase and I could not be more pleased. I was able to work with a team of agents who were very helpful and transparent throughout the buying process. I loved the transparency as I like to be involved every step of the way, not to mention I just received a rebate check for 1% of the purchase price. An excellent experience that I would definitely recommend to others looking to purchase!

We went with agent assisted FSBO and it was quite easy to communicate, I entered listing details and photos and they were on streeteasy within the day. Our affiliated broker also helped by holding open house and communication was excellent all around.

Absolutely Recommend Hauseit
This is my first time using Hauseit. I sold FSBO last year via a popular NYC website (you know which one) but I was harassed constantly by agents looking for a listing (no hard feelings that's their job but it was very stressful) and many would not show their clients because I listed FSBO (finally did sell though)
The Hauseit process was very simple and easy and I couldn't be more happy with the service. Along the way I learnt a thing or two as well: Price your property properly, don't list at a high price, list at market price. Second: Get professional photos and floor plans done. It is more important than I thought and get good marketing show sheets etc. All these don't cost much. Anyway, just thought I'd share my experience. 5 star all the way. Good luck with your sale...

This was a great experience overall
This was a great experience overall. I did the base listing package with the consulting hours and I ended up getting well over my asking price. I would definitely recommend using Hauseit to take care of the hassle of managing your listings (and the inquiries that come in), as well as the complementary open houses. Well worth it!

Great experience with the agents referred by Hauseit who helped me sell my home for a competitive price in line with recent sales in my building and neighborhood but at a much reduced rate (full service listing option). Also used them to purchase my new home.

Being a new comer to the FSBO market
Being a new comer to the FSBO market, I found Hauseit.com to be a tremendous asset when I listed my apartment. The initial listing process was painless, straight forward, and their support team walked me through the entire process from start to finish. The traction from buyer’s brokers was consistent, and it was refreshing to see strong demand from the various buyer’s brokers. Most importantly, my affiliate broker was super responsive, which made the process a breeze. I would highly recommend any seller to consider trying Hausit.com before listing with a traditional broker as the savings were well worth the few minutes of extra work!

I just closed on our co-op in NYC using Hauseit to sell FSBO
I just closed on our co-op in NYC, that we sold using Hauseit. I would highly recommend using Hauseit to sell FSBO in NYC. We initially tried posting our place on Zillow as FSBO, but ended up getting hounded by agents who pretended to have potential buyers. In reality, they just wanted to keep you on the phone, talk to you in person, and convince you that you need to use a listing agent, and that you will actually be able to make more money by paying the 6% commission, because they can sell it fore more than you would. There may be a few agents who call and actually have clients that are interested, but after a couple days of talking to agents that are lying to you, you'll be ready to list with Hauseit.
If you have time to sell FSBO, you can find a lot of information to help you in the process by doing your own research online... figure out how much your place is worth, respond to potential buyers, show your place, host a open house, etc. The thing you can't do on your own is get your place listed by an agent to filter out calls from other agents who want to list your place themselves and have you pay their 6%. Paying that flat rate of $399 to Hauseit for this is totally worth it to avoid getting harassed by agents.
Selling FSBO isn't for everyone, but in NYC, the only reasonable way to do it is to have it listed by an agent through Hauseit, or another flat rate service like it. My experience with the Hauseit agent was great. My agent was extremely responsive- responding to emails immediately, all throughout the day and night. He was helpful in providing tips/suggestions even though that isn't part of the service included in the flat fee. And they even offered to host 2 open houses for us. We only did one, but when they hosted it they brought a ton of food to offer people that visited.
We also tried to buy a place using a Hauseit agent, but in the end we ended up using another agent. To be honest, I think you just need to make sure that you really like your agent that's helping you purchase a home.

I don't write reviews often
I don't write reviews often, however, I want to let people know that using Hauseit was one of the best decisions of my life !!
They immediately got my Brooklyn condo apt. listed on all the national listing websites such as Zillow and Trulia as well as the local N.Y.C. websites, such as StreetEasy, etc. Then they assigned a local agent who really worked on every lead and followed up with emails after the showings and kept in constant contact with me by sending me all his correspondences with buyers and their agents, never missing a beat! He sincerely cared and worked diligently and relentlessly. His methods paid off. My apt. went into contract in 33 days from listing date, at full asking price, all cash sale. I am just so pleased with this truly professional service which far exceeded my expectations.
