Stayed at Lanzarote Park. Lovely staff, hotel well appointed, prestige is marvellous. However terrible ‘entertainment’, tone deaf caterwauling every night. Please stop! Ruins our holiday, we come... See more

Iberostar Bouganville Playa (Costa Adeje) 9th to 19th August 2022. Amazing Place !!!!!
Iberostar Bouganville Playa (Costa Adeje) 9th to 19th August 2022.
Amazing Place !!!!!
My husband and I have travelled over the years and stayed in some great hotels and I have to say this is in the top 3 the food was amazing, staff were brilliant and the entertainment was great. I could not get over the cleanliness of the hotel absolutely spotless. We were star prestige and wow the service is fabulous. We will definitely be back please do not listen to the bad reviews as we could not fault this hotel. For kids its amazing so much for them to do and the location was brilliant bars, restaurants and beaches all around you in walking distance. The Harbor is a 10 minute walk also went on a boat trip great day out. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel you all work really hard and made our stay extra special as you were all so polite and helpful.
Iberostar Cala Barca, Majorca - Real issues that spoilt our stay
We stayed at Iberostar Cala Barca Majorca for 11 nights in July/August 2022. The complex is very nice, good facilites particularly for families with young children, great pools and good restaurants (however most days / evenings repetitive in main restaurant) of which there is a good choice. All staff were very nice. BUT, there were some issues that spoilt our stay:
INSUFFICIENT sun-loungers that meant we spent 7 of the 10 days sitting in chairs. There is space around the pool areas for the hotel to have more loungers,
INSUFFICIENT tables and chairs for the evening entertainment. We sat on concrete steps ( not the ones allocated for watching the entertainment); not what you expect for a 4* hotel having paid more than 4,000 pounds. Again there is space for the hotel to have more tables/chairs.
This review is based on honest experience. Regrettably, we would not return for these reasons.
We were not asked, when we checked-out, if we had enjoyed our stay. Surprising!
over priced, under staffed and not worth the money they charge
small squashy rooms, excellent staff but overloaded with work so no one answers the phone from room, if you then go to front desk you must queue up for at least half an hour in poorly air-conditioned reception so take your towels with you to soak up sweat!Food choice is amazing but labelling is poor so everyday we had to wait for an English speaking chef to come and explain if the food was suitable for our needs or not. They mix all meats in their soups pialla and other dishes and also don't care about food hygiene and use same knives and utensils to cut and serve all sorts of meats and vegetarian dishes. Swimming pools are clean but we didn't see regular testing of water so we all got chest infection after two days and stopped going. First night we arrived we had no drinking water in our room and no one told us there was a water point, we also didn't get explained that we had to get beach towels and iron by paying a deposit so had to queue up the next morning for over 45 mins! Safe wasn't working so technicians came and couldn't fix it, only after half a day it dawned upon us that we had to rent the locker and get a code - a very expensive affair and what a cheap tactics to pinch more money from us in an already overly expensive hotel!
I would NEVER return!
Profits over explotation of hard working staff
KNo I wish I could give no stars. This company's ethics of explotation of their staff is shocking. I can see throughout the years as they grow and grow at the expense of hard working people in the Dominican Republic where Im currently staying. Im sure these countries don't have legislation that protect people in the name of a "job", but it doesn't mean a company could still provide a decent working environment. These hotels will be NOTHING without their staff, yet they get paid a few dollars for at least 16 hours of work a day. You just need few days to see the same faces at 6am until past midnight. I haven't seen any staff facility for water, breaks and even a decent uniform suitable for working under scorching sun. Shame on you Iberostar. I would never use again this or any company that treatment people this way.
We had a fabulous time
We had a fabulous time. The food and service were excellent. We stayed Prestige which was worth the money. Prestige service is slightly confusing and not all staff know what is and is not included. Sometimes felt we were having services which we had not paid for. Service in rooftop and lobby were excellent. Restaurant table service was not as good. However, we definitely would stay again.
Iberostar Marrakech
Iberostar Marrakech
The hotel was very nice and the staff more then kind. The room needed a big clean en some repear. Not all the food in de restaurant was Halal and they even served pork! Big turn off for me.
Fantastic experience
stayed in Iberostar Cristina in Majorca as a family holiday for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Clean and decent rooms, delicious food with lots of healthy options and very nice and helpful staff. There was plenty of activities and things to do during the day and evening. A big shout out to star camp team and their amazing kids club. The team was professional, reliable and friendly and our kids built a strong relationship with them in first few days. They offer a wide range of activities for children age 4-12 while giving some time to parents to enjoy themselves. Our children loved face painting in particular and was lucky enough to get it twice. Overall, we all had a fantastic experience in this hotel and will definitely come back next year.

Club Palmeraie Marrakech
We’ve just arrived home after an amazing 7 night stay.
The hotel was beautiful with stunning grounds which were being constantly maintained. The entire complex including the accommodation were spotless throughout, with maintenance and cleaning staff constantly on the go. Not a piece of rubbish or dirty cutlery in sight.
The staff were all amazing. So accommodating, polite and efficient without being overbearing. Staff who deserve a special mention were Bader, Hakim, Abdou, Reda, Amal, Mouad, Emmy, Abdel. They all made our holiday extra special and were consummate professionals throughout our stay.
So many varied and easily accessible activities which kept us entertained.
Thank you for a long awaited perfect holiday. Would highly recommend.
Iberostar nightmare.
We arrived in Iberostar Alcudia six night ago. We had used these hotels previously and were delighted with their quality.
What we did not expect was to see a massive number of pre-school children at this one. They were everywhere and as you would expect at this age there was a lot of noise of crying, screeching and yelling.
Both pools were dominated by them and there was not an area free from them.
The experience in any of the restaurant sittings was horrendous as their crying was amplified in the enclosed space. Small kids were dashing about with food on their plates which did not always reach the table.
Others seemingly forgotten by their parents, were lifting items of food and setting it down again.
Both of us caught food poisoning.
We saw two young children fencing with the pool queues.
We were awoken regularly during the night by children crying.
Thankfully a very good Jet 2 agent arranged for a transfer to a better hotel.
I expected much more for the price because in reality this place is more akin to a Butlins' experience.
Recent stay
Careful with hidden fees!! They waited til checkout the tell us we had an unknown bill for “taxes” after paying OVER 600 a night for the Presidential suite! We left with bug bites ( NOT like normal bites ) covering my entire arms & legs even wearing repellent and they say it’s from the sand? ALSO: service and friendly happens upfront when u arrive BUT falls away QUICKLY and they definitely know what their doing by serving very small amounts of food & drinks. So all inclusive is definitely controlled! Plus the dinner reservations at the inside restaurants are also very small portions and take forever to get your food:(
Front desk lady that sits at customer relations
Is SUPER RUDE & very hateful :(
Selection Iberostar Del Andalous
I returned yesterday from my wonderful holiday based at the Selection Iberostar Del Andalous hotel in Port El Kantaoui.
Just following on from my review I posted on Tripadvisor.
I was initially welcomed to the hotel very warmly by Imed the hotel manager.
He made sure at all times that I was happy with my stay.
My luggage was taken down to my room by the very welcoming and attentive Ali.
My first 2 days made me feel so welcomed by my room maid, Leila who was wonderful throughout my stay making sure my room was kept spotless and tidy!!
She is a true asset to the hotel and they are so lucky that she continues to express the love and care she puts into her work for all those guests she meets.
The restaurants are really good and welcoming too characterised by the lovely Abdel who is so conscientious with his job of ensuring the diners at breakfast, lunch and dinner have a memorable time.
The way he helps the children enjoy their food, making sure they have so many lovely treats to eat is a joy to see.
There are so many other members of the hotel staff who also contribute wholeheartedly to the Iberostar welcoming ethos.
I also was helped a lot by Freddy who co-ordinates visits to the Sousse Medina and helps guests find what they are looking for whenever he can.
He helped me purchase a really beautiful carpet which will be delivered to my home address next month free of charge.
I also upgraded to use the StarPrestige lounge for the last week of my holiday located on the hotel roof terrace complete with 2 large Jakuzzis.
It has wonderful panoramic views to the beach, tennis courts and marina.
And over to the hills.
Mohammed there was very welcoming with providing drinks and local knowledge of the Port El Kantaoui area.
The entertainments team headed up by Rio were really good too making my stay so memorable in making new friends with the English, German, French, Scottish, Irish, Polish and Tunisian people I met during my 4 week stay.
Also our Tui reps Aladdin, and Sarah made sure I was able to go on 3 memorable tours to the Sahara, Coliseum, some amazing Roman archaeological sites and not forgetting sampling some lovely wine at a Tunisian chateau.
All in all the Iberostar Andalous is a wonderful hotel to base a holiday in the Port El Kantaoui area of Tunisia.

Amazing Service!
We stayed at the Iberostar Quetzal near Cancun, Mexico this past week. It was beautiful. The resort was great. We had a couple issues with one of our rooms, but staff took care of it right away. The food was really good with many choices. The pool was real nice, although it closed early and we were disappointed we could not night swim in the nice weather. The beach was really nice. Staff was great, customer service was awesome. They made things so easy and worry free. Booking excursions was simple and convenient as well. There were many animals around the resort grounds, it was neat. We became members of their Iberostar club(but it was not high pressure like they normally are), because we liked what they have to offer more than our current timeshare. They were able to get us equity from our current one to help with fees for the new one. Being a member the remainder of the time was great, really treated us like VIP! The exclusive members areas were nice, and service was even better, if that was possible. My husband and I got free massages as well, very good! When leaving, we had a personal shuttle to the airport in a very nice vehicle, as well as personal service at the airport. They took our luggage for us, and got our boarding passes and luggage all taken care of. Wow, that was so nice because things are a bit confusing in another country. We had never been treated so well before! After our trip, their staff member, Hilario, continued to text us to make sure we were taken care of. They even gave us a fun souvenir from the gift shop. We were very impressed with their service, and cant wait to go again, and stay at some of their other resorts! Thanks for an amazing trip guys! I'd give them more stars if I could!! :) Besides the pool closing early, I was only under-thrilled about the gym not opening until 7 am. I am an avid gym goer, and love being in there very early, but it was ok I did other things I did outside. Just an fyi.
Bad experience with Iberostar
I made a reservation on 9/8/21 for 4 nights to begin on 4/5/22-4/9/22. a few days before I called the hotel to get another confirmation just to make sure all was well since it had been several months. When the customer service rep sent me an email it was for 4164.00, the initial paid reservation in total from our bank was $2642.64. I did not want to proceed with the reservation if someone could not tell me what happened. Our bank was also attempted to be charged the same day for $1500 two times. This is fraud and I spoke to several people to get an explanation, one fellow told me he would look into it but 24 hours later I still had no answer. I only had a few days left before our trip to cancel without any penalty. That was another story, 25 minutes on the phone to cancel a reservation, they would not take it online. Also the rep said they never give a cancellation or confirmation number for cancellations. As a customer I did what was asked, paid in advance for a specific upgraded room, the hotel customer service reps were friendly however no one solved the problem. I am so glad I thought to call in advance instead of having to deal with this at the front desk. I have all my proof of what was required and what was paid. They wasted my time and effort and I would never recommend an Iberostar again.

Just done an on line booking for…
Just done an on line booking for Bouganville Playa Tenerife with Mathias in customer services.
Absolutely brilliant service just like we get at the hotel
What a disappointment!
This hotel chain has become an accomplice, together with Melia, to the suffering of the Cuban people by giving a shared amount of millions (24 millions both) of dollars for the construction of the Fidel Castro's Center, Tyrant of Cuba that has dominated the country for 63 years and the people do not even have aspirin. I urge everyone not to visit the Melia or Iberostar hotels in order to help the Cuban people free themselves from this 63-year-old tyranny that has sown hunger, family division, misery and death in this poor town.
Iberostar paraiso beach
I had the most amazing time at the iberostar paraiso beach, I’ve also stayed at iberostar paraiso lindo before and both are excellent. The staff was always friendly and warm, the service was great, amenities were amazing, and the entertainment staff goes above and beyond. A big thank you to Arminda who made this trip extra enjoyable by always keeping us engaged and involved in activities as well as Ausel who was super kind and encouraged us to do more fun activities! We had a great time!
Iberostar resort is horrible.
I booked my stay.
Called!! To confirm my stay, transportation to and from the airport and my covid test to travel back to the US.
The day I arrive at 12:45pm "world to meet" transportation company has not clue who I am. They don't have my booking information, my name, my flight number, NOTHING.
I side there for 30minutes while they are phone calls.
After the 30 minutes in the heat, they extend their services and take me to Iberostar "Grand" like my reservation states.
At 1:30pm we arrive at Iberostar "Grand" and they also, have NO CLUE who I am. They are NOT expecting me.
They read my email and see exactly what I see.
"Iberostar GRAND" booking number#- U566867
They start making phone calls to Miami, Florida where the booking aganecy is.
After 1.5 hours they tell me
"Your suppose to be at Iberostar "Punta Cana" not GRAND.
Although confirmation email reservation reads GRAND.
It's now 3pm. My flight boarded at 7am.
I'm hungry and hot and sweaty and really want a shower.
I get to Iberostar "Punta Cana" and after 20 minutes they give me my room information.
I tell them I want my original choice GRAND and they tell me I have to pay
$2,000.
After ALL that I've been through, no one is bending over backwards make me happy.
I agree to the extra charge and another 20 minutes later that tell me, they can't do that neither.
The best they can do is SELL me a bracelet for $900 to access "Grand" prestige pool.
None of the amenities.
It's now 4pm!!!
Iv been in DR since 12:45pm.
After Iberostar have dropped the ball countless times with my booking (starting with my transportation) they still cannot offer me anything that I want and is willing to pay for.
This was absolutely horrible.
I will not recommend staying with them.
Iberostar is disorganized and will leave you for HOURS sitting around until they can figure out a quick fix.
I was hot, hungry, unsatisfied and disappointed after all the money and time I spent with them.
Iberostar SUCK!
To clarify
I arrived in punta cana DR at 12:45pm
I did not get into a room for a shower until 4:20pm!!
All because someonewssed up my booking and no one felt it was necessary to fix it once I arrived.
I spent 3 hours and 45 minutes in the hot sun with my warm clothes suited for winter in New Jersey because no one could figure out what went wrong and didn't bother to make it right.
Horrible start to my vacation and first time in DR!!
