I would rate them worse if i could .

I would rate them worst if i could .. bought a motorcycle lift on sale ... said free shipping when i went to check out it didnt show shipping charges when they processed my credit card payment for 200 dollars in shipping ... that was Friday of last week , it took me 3 days to get in touch with them and I had to call sales becuase they answer ( over 3 hours hold time) ... told me I could cancel but they would charge me 300 dollars in shipping to return it and I have never recieved it.

Sent open box with missing parts, Terrible customer service!!!

I was sent an open box item with missing parts. You can tell it was a return that someone had attempted to install and then sent back. It was missing major mounting components and several nuts and bolts. I received the order on a Saturday and had to wait until Monday to contact customer service. After waiting on hold for 4 DAMN HOURS, I was finally able to speak with customer service. They wanted to charge me to return the product!! INSANE!! This place is a sham, avoid at all costs. Pay the extra $20 bucks and buy somewhere else, it's worth it, trust me.

Insane hold times for customer service

If you need to order something they have plenty of staff members ready to answer the phone. Need to speak with customer service after you order? GOOD LUCK!!! you'll be on hold for 2-4 hours every time you call. I'm not exaggerating. Never ordering from Jegs again. Too many options to put up with being the 98th caller in the que. Get real, Jegs

Buyer Beware!!

Buyer Beware!!! Do not do business with Jegs. Where to begin...I purchased 2 tires at the end of April totaling over $700. I get an email that they were delivered. I go to grab them and they aren't here. I look around the neighborhood and nothing. My first thought was to call Jegs directly. Well that was a mistake. I called 10 times and was on hold for over 3 hours and still did not have my problem resolved. Decided to reach out to my credit card company and file a dispute since there is no way of getting a hold of anyone. We filed the dispute and this is when Jegs finally responded. They stated they had proof of delivery...their proof a picture. On items over $700 there was no signature required or anything. Since Jegs said they were delivered my credit card company reversed the dispute and I am stuck paying for something that I do not have. I filed a claim with the BBB and since Jegs once again said they had "proof" the BBB closed the case. The last message received from Jegs stated "if you believe there to have been theft call your police department and file a claim with your homeowner's insurance". What a joke!!!! They do not care because they got their money. I will NEVER do business with this company ever again.

Ordered a transmission from them they…

Ordered a transmission from them they told me it was next day delivery I get my receipt via email and the transmission is back ordered by nearly a month I tried calling them I was on hold for over two hours and then somehow my call magically got disconnected so I call them again I’m on hold for over an hour then I get a prerecorded message saying that customer service department is closed so here I am again currently waiting on hold coming up on two hours and I’m still the 5th person in queue were I’ve supposedly been for over an hour. Worst company I’ve ever gone through they not only lie to you but they have the absolute worst customer service ever.

Don't by from JEGS!!

Jegs sells parts they don't have in stock. They take your money then tell you it's back ordered. Seems they do this to everyone. Try calling customer service.....number 135 in a queue. No way in hell are they that busy. After 1:20 minutes on an internet chat I finally get a rep named Jonathan. Extremely unprofessional. Eventually he just disconnected me because he didn't like my questions about my product. Spare yourself the headache. What a crap company.

Stopped buying there years ago Bought door panels from them that came in a box that someone used as a practice dummy for wrestling. they want me to ship them back on my dime to send another set... this is the way they used to be some things never change never again

Wait times to get a hold of someone is ridiculous. Also if you order and call right after because you changed your mind, by the time you finally reach someone and try cancelling it, apparently its already on the truck, "not" and you recieved notice that it was shipped the next day so they couldn't cancel and then charge $50 per rim to return. Freaking crooks!! I would just avoid this company. Sales aren't even that great either.

Nothing but Good Experiences:

I see that there is a lot of negativity here, and I wanted to throw another voice in as I have had nothing but good experiences with JEGs, especially when ordering directly through them.

I have gotten great parts and expertise on the phone with regular purchases. Technical questions were answered with good explanations without the attempted upsell. I told a guy I was doing a budget build, and he immediately directed me to good resources for a reasonable 375 hp build.

Their prices are fair, they have been good at keeping me up to date, and they actually have a great catalog.

I give 4 stars since sometimes their web search isn't the best but beyond that nothing but love for them

Absolutely horrible!!

Absolutely horrible!!! I ordered brake lines 5/14, said both fronts and rears were in stock. They were not, waited a month, then got only half the order. Tried to call them to cancel, hold time was seemingly days, told I was number 76 in the queue. Then tried to cancel the order online and was told their return system is not available. No online chat available, so had to send a message to their customer service team, but it's not even an email address, just an online form. The funniest part is Amazon had these in stock for 30% less than the JEGS price.

Jegs is horrible

Jegs is horrible, i purchased headers april 17th knowing they ship from vendor, i called the vendor they said they will ship by mid may. May 7th came i got an email said they shipped, here it is mid june, my exhaust builder took on other projects so now my truck wont be done this summer, i called the vendor again and they said dude we shipped them may 7th... where tf are they jegs???! Its a hot item one of your workers take it for themselves?? Been on hold for hour 20 mins now started off 45 in line now im 10. You guys suck so bad i am never ordering from you again

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! Quick to take your money but when you have questions and need tracking for a no show item you will on hold for literally 3 hours!!! Will never order from them again. Now have no rims!

Challenging customer service

The delivery time for the order has been pushed out another month on top of a two-month delay. there appears to be no way to cancel the order online. Calling customer service gets you into a cue that goes on for literally hours. I will never again consider Jegs. Private equity has ruined this company. The e-mail address info gets returned as not a valid e-mail address.

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! Lots of options to by aftermarket products so pick another company. I ordered a soft top kit for my Jeep, the product description on the website said 1975 and older. My Jeep is a 1991. The order arrived (late) and the product manual said for 1995 and older. I called several times and waited for over 40 minutes and finally gave up. I disputed the charge on my bank card. I offered to return the item but Jegs wont cover return shipping cost. As the error was on Jegs, I am not willing to pay for the return. I attempted to purchase the correct top with a customer service agent. The top was available but they would not honor the original discount code as the offer expired. Again, not my fault. I have tried calling, using chat, and using the only customer service form. You simply can not get a person to help you. Website part numbers cant be trusted, and customer service cant be reached. Use a credible vendor, not this clown outfit.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Customer support is only by toll free phone, which means waiting on the phone for over half an hour while being informed you still have 100 customers waiting to be assisted before you.
It is the only company in the world that doesn´t have a live chat or an email address to speed things up for their not-so valuable customers.
Ordered a small part advertised as ¨"in stock" three weks ago. Next day received an email from Jegs informing me that the order shipped and an USPS tracking number.
As said, three weeks later the status of the order in the USPS tracking page reads "pre-shipped", which means that Jeg´s has not yet delivered the package to USPS for shipping.
The imposibility of reaching the vendor that has already have your money in his pocket for three weeks and hasn´t send anything yet is quite frustrating, specially when he is trying to fool his customer sending fake shipping confimation emails.
To make things worst imagine you are 5000mls away from them!
Haven´t bought from Jeg´s for over ten years, and everything went fine back then, but now the story is absolutely different.
Will continue to spend my money in Summittracing, as so far their service can not be beaten.

They do not understand Customer Service

Long read, but worth your time. I have been a long time Summit Racing customer. I had a need for some new tires. I went to Summit but for some reason decided to check Jegs too. Jegs offered a $50 discount, so I figured the same product, basically the same prices but a $50 coupon, what could go wrong? Well, my tires showed up. 2 M/T 235/60R15 and what was supposed to be 2 M/T 275/60R15. But one of those was not like the other. They shipped one M&H 390/40R17, not even close. Now I get it, mistakes happen. Summit has even made some in the past, but here is where Jegs and Summit differ, customer service! I called Jegs because there is no clear way to process this kind of mistake online. I am number 60 in the queue!! One hour and 15 minutes waiting for an agent, and what makes it worse I called in on another phone while waiting and went to the option to place a new order, they picked right up, tells you where their priorities are. So I am on the phone for 10 minutes with this rep, nice enough person, doing her job. Told her I needed a return label from FedEx to pickup their mistake and my tire that I actually ordered shipped. She then puts me on hold for another 10 minutes and comes back. They cannot ship my tire, the tire I ordered and paid for but they did not ship properly. They need the tire they mistakenly sent me, process the RMA once received then they would ship my tire. We would be talking easily a week. At this point no way am I giving them even more money to cover their mistake to ship now. Again, I get it, mistakes happen, but when you do not own up to it and fix it that is on you. And that is what separates the good companies from the bad. I mean lets face it, Summit and Jegs sell the same stuff at basically the same prices, it is customer service and separates the good from the bad, and Jegs is the bad. Not saying Summit has never made a mistake with me, they have, but they also made it right and not made me run through hoops. Oh, and how did I resolve? I told Jegs to RMA the tire so I would get a refund and ordered the one tire from Summit. Oh, and they told me I had to take even more of my time and my gas to drive 15 miles to the FedEx drop off location to return their mistake. And the topping on the cake, when they finally refunded me they refunded for the cheaper smaller M/T and not the missing bigger M/T. So I had to call back in (this time number 90 in the queue) to get the rest of my money. Never again Jegs, never again. Should have kept the $600 M&H and sold it, the M/T was only $280, but unlike Jegs I do things right.

Ordered tail lights and lenses got the tail lights,not the lenses.cannot get them on the phone.no way.tryed for week different times of the day.this is sick! If I ever get the lenses it will be a miracle. Used to be great.now,stay far away.
