I appeal to anyone who wants to book…

I appeal to anyone who wants to book with this micky mouse company to try elsewhere. Because the customer service team are a total joke. If you ever have to claim a refund you will be told lie after lie after lie. I have been waiting for 4 months for a refund voucher. I have been told by e mail it will be two weeks. That was march. Then oh it will be a little longer. Them gaurenteed it will be on the 13th June. Still nothing. Now they have blocked all contact numbers apart from one number. That just gives you one option. Press 1. This then tells you your voucher is being dealt with. You cannot talk to anyone anymore. The flights they advertise are not even flying. It's a total scam. As long as you have no problems. Take a chance. There is even a Facebook page dedicated to people in the same situation. They took my money. But can not be bothered to show any service or help to claim my flight refund voucher back. These really are the worse customer service company ever. A total joke. Really I cannot express how bad they are. 4 months for a refund. I spoke to KLM. Who I was booked onto. They informed me all their refunds were done. They saw no reason why last-minute.Sham have not given me the voucher or the money....... 5 months nearly now.... Disgusting rip off cowboys

Waiting a refund

Booked a holiday for May 20 to Crete and they advised on 1st May that flights were cancelled so I asked for a refund on the flights and the hotel also booked through them. They emailed and advised that this would be refunded within 14 days. After a lot of emails and no response, I am still waiting for an update. I am aware there is a delay but not to hear anything in 6 weeks is just extremely poor customer service.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. I had to cancel a hotel booking for Singapore, after their government closed its borders during the pandemic. The hotel agreed in writing, with last minute CC'd to issue a refund. Last Minute, who had by then received the money from the hotel, advised me that they wouldn't be issuing me a refund. When I replied that the hotel had proven that they had issued a refund and it was illegal for them to hold that, they asked me to pay a £69 administration fee because it was a 'voluntary cancellation'. When I reminded them that I live in the UK and with the borders to Singapore closed, I had absolutely no way of getting there, making it an 'involuntary cancelation' they literally asked me to be 'more specific' in what I was requesting. When I told them I would take them to court and report them to the authorities I finally got my refund. Deplorable excuse for customer service, each time I called I got a contradictory response, but trying to hold a refund that the hotel had issued is illegal. I'll know never to book with last minute again.

Weaseling out of refunds is…

Weaseling out of refunds is Lastminute's main goal as company at this moment in time.

I have yet to recieve a refund for my package holiday which I am entitled to under the EU law 'Package Travel Directive (PTD2) - lastminute are falsely trying to claim 'they are not the providers' which would be the only exemption to this law.
How else can a package holiday be organised through lastminute if they are not the providers?

Daft hoop jumping that proves they are just trying to hold on to OUR money as long as possible so executives can get their bonuses at the end of the year. I will never book a holiday with last-minute in the future again.

No customer care and no refunds

Booked a holiday for April which was cancelled due to the Covid 19 situation.
Have tried since then to get a refund to be met with no contact from the company, a phone number that hangs up on you when you ask to speak to customer services, no email address listed anywhere and no postal address.
I confirmed with the hotel that they hadn't taken money for the holiday so no idea why I am still awaiting a refund.
There is currently a facebook group with 2 thousand people having very similar problems.
Worst customer service I have ever experience and will not use this company again.

Scammers

Just as other customers have said, I had flights cancelled due to the pandemic. They initially offered a refund in writing, then said this would hinge on the airline, then offered a credit note (which i accepted as they said I would get it within 24 hours). It has now been 2 months and impossible to reach them.

Refund!!

My flight got cancelled in April after I had booked it in February. I chose the credit offer to make the process faster. I have called, no one had useful information. I’ve filed a complaint to the CMA who are investigating my case since this is going against my rights! I’m tired and frustrated!!!!

Absolutely awful customer service and communication from Lastminute.com. They are refusing to refund customers their money even though they have a obligation to do so. Even those who are getting responses in terms of refunds are getting fobbed off with vouchers. Disgusting.

Wish i could give ZERO Stars

Wish i could give ZERO Stars. Ticket got auto cancelled due to pandemic over 3 months ago and i am still yet to receive a refund. Arrogant and insensitive customer care staff. Essentially, they have just stolen the money and holding their cash reserves. Damn Theives.

Another scam to add to the list

Another scam to add to the list. I cancelled a booking over 2 months ago, and have called 4 times since them. Each time they tell me that the refund is on its way, but it never comes. They won't let me speak to anyone else. Essentially, they have stolen money.

Very Disappointing

I had paid for a flight to Perth ,Australia with Lastminute.com to visit my son and his family. Then the Epidemic came and my flight was cancelled.
I tried ringing Lastminute.com many times but got no reply, I tried emailing but found them very unhelpful; telling me each time to refer to their App which was not helpful at all.
On my last email I sent them copies of proof that the flight was cancelled and their Terms and Conditions which clearly states I’m have a right to a refund if the flight was cancelled.
The reply I got from them was that they contact me. I waited 3 weeks for a phone call but they didn’t have the curtesy to contact me. This was appalling.
I then decided to contact Barclaycard and got my refund. Thanks to Barclays.
As for Lastminute.com I have found them sub standard. They were dishonest to me and in all my years of business they are the worst by far I have ever have ever encountered.
They will never get my business again.
