Very poor service

Very poor service. I waited in all day (Friday) for my parcels to be collected as arranged.

The courier did not show up. When I contacted customer services they said they could not explain why Hermes had not collected the items.

I was told Hermes had not contacted them yet when logging into my account I could see an issue had been reported at 10:38 that morning.

No one contacted me by phone or email that the courier would not be arriving. I was not given a satisfactory explanation for this.

I was then told I could rearrange the collection on the next available day (Monday) or take the parcels to a drop-pff point but was told there were no Saturday collections.

The staff at the drop-off informed me that there were in fact collections on Saturdays.

I was not offered any compensation just a COVID disclaimer.

I was also disappointed by the lack of communication and excuses that were offered including that lockdowns caused "access issues" - I realise this is a difficult time but it's not World War Z.

All-in-all a very poor service!

Poor Service

My experience is rather poor especially based on the latest incident. I sent a parcel via DPD to Poland last week and only few days later tracking information have stopped with a latest update on 30.01.2021 "held at international getaway". I have reached out several times via a chat and email to My Parcel and I was assured that the parcel was re-labelled to continue its journey. Based on that I was confident this parcel will reach recipient in Poland on time 4th Feb. It turned out that this parcel was returned back to me! With no explanation, no reason and there is still no tracking available to reflect the problem. No one has informed me of any issues and I have spent £26 which I would like for it to be returned ASAP. Waste of time and money, I will never use My Parcel Delivery again, nor my friends and my family. As a social media person I will ensure all my friends are aware of this poor and disgusting service.

This is a naughty website

This is a shell website that has copied a very good site. Really good at taking your money and once it has got it nothing else works. No confirmation, no labels no follow up emails. I had taken a screen shot of the order and so put the order number into tracking which also did not work. Spoke to my credit card and they said that the company probably will not fleece anymore money from me but make make their money from each person who like me were also duped.

Bad service and disorganised

Bad service, the advertised drop off points never accept your parcels say they are backlogged and full of other parcels not yet picked up. You prepay for this service more then the post office and run around on a wild goose chase to see who will accept your parcel like they are doing you a favour!

Not reliable

My complaint is simple stayed in all day for for parcel to be collected contacted them said it was a problem with post code this was a excuse I have stuff delivered by other carriers every week yes there is a pandemic they should not promise a collection if they can’t do it even a phone call or email not to much to ask be careful using this company

Exceptional customer service

Ran into a problem but the customer service was great - they replied frequently to my emails and even offered to call me to clear up the situation. In the end the problem was solved and I can’t fault the colleagues, they were great

Neither of the links to the labels worked, the email with my order confirmation etc didn’t arrive, and the live chat was ignored. AVOID!

Dismal service

Dismal service. Paid for 24-hour delivery of Xmas gifts. Recipient stayed in all day for the delivery - tracked online all day with message ‘on van for delivery’ at 16:48 message updated with ‘recipient declined delivery at 13:58’. Total lies, CCTV proves that no attempt at delivery made, and most certainly not ‘refused’. Arranged collection from depot, as advised by MPD customer services - when arrived at depot was advised parcel had been returned to sender!! Will NEVER use MPD or Parcelforce again, and most certainly would not recommend.

Bought postage for a parcel but unable…

Bought postage for a parcel but unable to print label as their website stopped working. My printer was fine - printed other things.

The driver never turned up to collect the parcel anyway so the order cannot have being completed. - they still charged my credit card. Contacted company - no response.

Third day of waiting for MPD invisible courier

Booked & paid for a parcel collection December 23rd. Told it will be collected between 8am & 9pm

Usual story I sat in all day within one metre of the front door

At 4pm on live chat to ask for an update. Was told after checking the MPD number that courier was definitely coming

Again at 8pm I went on live chat for an update. Was told after checking my MPD number again that the courier would definitely be here by 9pm

At 9.45 live chat again this time I was told courier came at 12.10pm & noone answered!

Total lie as I was in & I was told at 4 pm & 8pm after my MPD was checked the courier was definitely coming!!

Offered refund or rebook

Rebooked for December 29th

Again sat within one metre of front door

Went on live chat at 11am to make sure courier was coming, gave my MPD

I was told courier came at 09.06am

Seriously?? Noone knocked, no missed you card or anything, I hadn't moved from my spot since sitting at 8am

Rebooked for December 30th, today

Once again for the 3rd day I'm sat within one metre of my front door waiting & waiting......

Live chat not working right now & I dare not move just in case the courier comes!!

Will they or won't they come? Judging by all the one stars here I ain't going to hold my breath!

I will report back, once it's collected.

EDIT UPDATE 10.56am

Went on live chat as it's up again & after checking my MPD I was told courier is still definitely coming to my address today to collect package

Package was finally successfully collected. It took 3 days, 3 different labels, 5 live chats & untold patience from myself to see this transaction through to the bitter end.

I know it was Christmas & what with the Corona Virus affecting staff numbers BUT you shouldn't accept bookings if you cannot fullfil them.

If a customer is informed of a delay for whatever reason, then that's just fine as you're keeping the customer updated & informed, it's when your customers aren't being told anything & they just wait & wait & wait not knowing what is going on.

In today's society we have the internet, mobile phones & the like, use them, call, text, email your customers with updates, it's what a lot of online stores, couriers etc do now. They give you an hour or 4 hour window, at least that way your customers aren't spending all day apprehensive in case they miss the knock on the door & have to start the whole process again & again as I've had to do!

I ordered a collection of 3 parcels for…

I ordered a collection of 3 parcels for collection on 28th December from my home address and supplied my mobile no. and email as contact details. I was told the collection would be made between 8am and 8pm and waited in all day for the collection but it never happened. Understand that it was Boxing Day and demand was certainly very high, but the lack of communication was frustrating. Annoying that companies like MPD take money from customers knowing full well that they are unlikely to fulfil their order when they say they will. Would much prefer a 'Sorry we're too busy' response - but that won't happen, because money.

Poor service

Although previous experience has been OK over the last few days the service has been poor. We booked a pick up for Monday 28th, waited in all day, no one arrived and no notification from them. Today 29th when we contacted My Parcel Delivery they said they could reschedule pick-up for tomorrow or do a refund. Ii asked for pick up today but they couldn't do that so I've cancelled it. Clearly they don't know what their delivery companies are doing.

AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU EXPECT ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED.

Of 6 items sent only 3 reached their destination.

The customer service is appalling.

We sent 6 parcels via myParcelDelivery.com for Christmas.

We paid for a premium service where parcels are collected, text messages sent and guaranteed for Christmas.

3 of the parcels have not been delivered. We have been given messages to contact the company but no phone number is provided.

When you engage in email communications (as you are asked to) they either don't reply, or fail to answer your questions.

When you use the Live Chat feature you are also routed to email.

Be very careful

Be very careful - they promise up to 100% insurance but cap it at £200 - this is hidden in their small print (while other couriers warn you at purchase). This is also the lowest cap out of all the couriers I’ve seen. Also, investigations into stolen in transit items go on for ages and were inconclusive in my case. There are better companies out there - the saying is you get what you pay for but in their case you don’t even get that.

One star for collection of parcel by…

One star for collection of parcel by UPS! The rest of the story is abysmal, UPS log shows parcel within 30 minutes of me, that was SIX days ago! No updates and similar to the other reviews experience with MyParcelDelivery.com customer service, really? Reaction time measured in minutes, comments are atrocious, respect and attempts to placate client? Being told that they are only on the frontline does not cut the mustard! Adding insult to injury, the system already shows item "gone" investigation has been launched, someone looked under their desk perhaps? To be told there is no record of it going missing and I need to initiate the process with CS at MyParcelDelivery.com, have CC'd the owner and CEO at the holding company to see what happens? Maybe I might have to rewrite the review or at least update it, breath-holding is not recommended ;)

Parcel was not collected.

My parcel was not collected, despite waiting in all day between 8 and 8. When I spoke to customer services they were unhelpful and unapologetic, only offering another collection 3 days later on Monday which would mean the parcel was late.

Parcel Never Collected

I understand parcel services are stretched at the moment, but after booking a collection of a parcel from my home on Tuesday, I was told it will be collected between 7am and 8pm on Wednesday. The parcel was never collected. I then contacted MyParcelDelivery on Thursday they apologised and rescheduled to Friday, so again it could be collected between 7am and 8pm. Again nobody turned up, leaving me with 4 fewer days to get my parcel posted. I will now be going to the Post Office for my parcel, good luck if anyone is self-isolating and wants to get a parcel posted! I will never use My Parcel Delivery again.

Myparceldelivery.com horrible experience...

Myparceldelivery Horrible experience and same for Hermes curier service.
Horrible experience with myparceldelivery company. They work with different curier services and Hermes is among them. First, after I booked and I had an issue with the parcel collection I noticed they don’t have any phone number working and available. After collection has been done, the parcel went missing and I contacted them ( myparceldelivery) to open an investigation. Few days after, I found on my own the parcel has been lost ( or stolen by a Hermes guy most likely) and I contacted Myparceldelivery again and I noticed they did not even opened a proper investigation with Hermes as they told me on the previous conversation. MPD01445973-1. As I mentioned up , I found out on my own the parcel was lost , calling few numbers until I found Hermes area depo number and they gave me the bad news of lost parcel. I had goods for more than 200£ in the parcel and I really doubt I will ever see any money back or any compensation. On top , a big inconvenient is that inside this parcel were Christmas gifts for my family . For sure myparceldelivery.com have a very poor customer service and this shows how much they care about customers. Just some guys answering on the chat Very Slowly and you never know if they will really help you or just moking you. I am strongly recommend you to Not use this company! In the case of an issue looks like you are on your own ...
For sure I will bad review this on my blog and youtube channel!
