My website and email have been down since Monday. I spent hours with tech support who spoke to me in canned phrases but offered little help. Every conversation ended with “you need to wait 24 to 48 hr”. The “48” came and went with little improvement. Reps are very polite but otherwise incompetent. My website is still down 4 days later, and they cannot figure out the solution. I am at a dead end here.
Updated 05-15-2026. A day after posting my review above, I received another canned reply from NS, but the website magically came back online at about the same time. I am grateful for that, but did they not do it when I first called them?

I first used the AI to present a billing error question. It almost got the answer I needed, but not quite. I was then able to call a (live person) representative. We have had nothing but issues with their service and support.
Purchased the ssl certificate, and people still could not access website. Called, and they "fixed it" but only temporarily because it happened again and again. We then moved to a monthly fee for the ssl, and 1st month was fine, we were billed for 2nd month, and issues again. Cancelled the subscription. I purchased again, and guess what? Still having issues. People cannot download the documents on our website due to not being secure.
We are paying over $400 a year, the website design software is outdated, doesnt even have an ssl certificate, so my internet provider blacks the page. I have to disconnect wifi on my phone, turn on mobile Hotspot, and then try to edit there. 80% of the time, I have issues publishing my site, and have to clear my cache, exit all browsers, log back in to network solutions and try again.
We are moving to another provider- $95 FOR 4 YEARS- not PER year- for 4 years! They also offer free professional initial web design, and ai assisted editing, AND the ssl is included.
When trying to transfer my domain, it was registered under some one else, and her old email address, which WAS a paid subscription, it is no longer active. Customer support informed me that amy changes made to the initial account set up information would cause a 60 day block on the domain- making it unable to transfer the domain. They said it is ICANN's policy. So, I called ICANN. I was informed that I can request to opt out of the 60 day block, and that it should have been offered to me on my initial call. It was not- hence my call to ICANN. I was also informed that if I opt out, and they place the block on my domain, I can request the block be removed and they should remove it within 5 days.
I then called back to Network solutions, and low and behold, they were able to initiate the change of information.

The AI wasn’t able to help solve my domain issue but the live agent I spoke with was absolutely amazing. Having to manage and deal with Networking and I.T stresses me out, I wasn’t even sure where to start, but she made the experience smooth and down right enjoyable. She was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable.

The agent I spoke with (Chad in Billing) was extremely helpful. I had received an expiration notice from Network Solutions that my email storage needed to be renewed. Chad not only was able to resolve that but was a great listener regarding my experience with Network Solutions (NS) in general. NS needs to do a better job of communicating with the iPage customers that are left feeling mistreated challenged by the merger with NS.

Riley, who handled my issue was excellent. She was very friendly, very helpful and really knew what she was doing. She handled my issue with one call. In comparison to the other domain vendor I use, the call took less than 15 minutes after being on hold with the other guys for over an hour and a half. Definitely will be using more of Network Solutions.

Network Solutions has a chatbot that's sometimes useful and when it's not it quickly goes to live support and I've always been happy with their live support. That's not something I typically say about most companies. Network Solutions is an exceptional experience!
