Very disappointing. Ordered 7 cupcakes personalised for a birthday. They were collected for me and I only got 6 instead of 7 ! When I phoned to complain they said they only had boxes for 6 or 9 ! So they put one cake separate from the rest ! They made some feeble excuse like they tried to let me know ! They didn’t do this. Now I have seven people for tea with one missing cake . What a sham. They asked me if I wanted to collect this missing cake ! i live 45 mins away. Is this a business or a sh**e show ! They refunded me with the cost of one cake and a feeble apology.
Such a shame when a business doesn’t provide good customer service. They don’t even give receipts !!!

After my original cake lady went AWOL, I sought a professional birthday cake from Primrose Bakery. Considering it was a very last minute request, the cake exceeded my expectations and was exquisite! Decorated carefully and to my request- I was very very pleased. Excellent 5* service considering the order was placed and collected within a half an hour timeframe. Thank you so much.

I paid just under £50 for a birthday candle and a single candle yesterday. The cake was made of flavourless, dry sponge mixed with a sickly sweet, cheap tasting salted caramel. There were chunks of salted caramel chocolate inside the cake - I'm not sure why exactly given that this made it almost impossible to cut into. The icing and overall presentation was like something out of Junior Bake Off. The single candle didn't have a wick (!) and was as a result, unusable. Why people go there is beyond me. Never again.
