Quizlet stole my money

Quizlet stole my money, so now i have to refund it. I payed for quizlet plus, but they didn’t add it to my account. Horrible horrible people who steal money from students. And the help center is not helpful at all. Had to fix this problem on my own.

Quizlet charged me $36 annual…

Quizlet charged me $36 annual membership in October and again $36 in November. When i contacted them to refund the second duplicate charge the response was that it is not eligible for a refund. It was THEIR mistake! I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company and im disgusted with them.

Used to be great

Used to be great. But now you have to pay for it. Which is a major bummer for students because the best part of it was the fact that it was free

A shell of what once was

wow. Current university student and Quizlet user for 8 years. Every single great feature that was once free is now locked behind a paywall. The company is now more committed to emptying the pockets of students rather than educating them. Everytime is use the platform, I get absolutely bombarded with distracting ads. I get teased with free trials of learning modes THAT WERE ONCE FREE AND GREATLY EFFECTIVE. NOW I SEE ADS EVERY 3 MINUTES. Kinda hard to focus on my study set when advertisements are being shoved down my throat. Absolute joke of an educational company. Enjoy the bankroll though.

Tech can't help itself

Tech can't help itself. They make a sleak, simple, efficient interface. Lots of folks love it. American business practices officially state: If you aren't 1% better now than you were 10 seconds ago then you haven't read enough of our "motivational posters" we hang on the corporate hallways that you're supposed to be inspired by. Then they change this, add that, change this again, move the log in from the right to the left, change the layout, update, modernize, total quality management, change, change, change. Gotta make your boss think your worth the salary. Quizlet changes every single time you log in. It's like that app that randomly picks a website for you to go to when you're bored online. Can anybody who makes an online app just leave the damn thing alone. If you like having to retrain yourself every 2 months on all the new updates, then you'll love Quizlet
Addendum: Now there's a pay structure to access certain elements of what used to be free. Kids are asked for emails. Who knows what the LLC does with that info. I'm sure they'll say, "We take your information seriously and blah blah blah." But they'll use it to make money. That's what corporation do. They do whatever is required to separate you from your money. Why don't we just get McDonalds to run schools, maybe Chic-Fil-A?

Best exam tool for A-levels

Quislet is by far the best website i have ever used to study. As a raging dyslexic going through A-levels and aiming to get A*'s or A's, Quislet has been my rock throughout the process. It can be on my phone, and laptop, and has a variety of different study experiences to help me learn in the most effective way possible. I will continue using the platform into my Uni experience.

I've been trying to escape this company for many years - have just come off the phone with my bank again. I subscribed for one year in 2018. Cancelled and blocked them and now they're back. Don't give them your card details.

Used to be good 6 years ago when you could make flash cards and study them easily. Now a days firstly they don't make you study them both ways. tell you you know them when you don't. They make you pay for their services which have become worse and overall they became so much worse!
Would give 0 if I could

I have used Quizlet for over a year…

I have used Quizlet for over a year now. If you can choose another flashcard making service do it.

I have written to Quizlet and also Quizlet programmers on Github. Their Audio playback for cards is broken, they will send you emails saying it is to do with your browser and after following all the suggested steps the problem will still be the same. They ignore the written words in email form and need a staff overhaul. Save yourself valuable study time and choose another company that helps people.

Can never cancel even if you don't have an account!!!!

I do not have any records of joining Quizlet, do not have an account, and they are charging my credit card. I tried to log in to cancel a subscription, but have no login details. I emailed them to stop billing me but they did not respond. Since I have been charged again, I closed my bank account to stop this "company" from charging me.
