Highly recommend service

Chris was excellent. He came at short notice, gave us a very competitive quote for a boiler replacement, turned up when he said and was professional throughout. I would definitely use them again

Disappointing customer care

I feel disappointed with their customer service.

Their service man rang our doorbell once, waited for 30 seconds (we have it on video) and then ‘apparently’ sat in his van for 6 mins. We unfortunately didn’t hear the one time he rang our doorbell but just by chance saw him leaving our driveway. We quickly rang their office to ask them to call him to come back but were told that he was too busy to stop and return, and we would need to reschedule. We didn’t complain about it at the time (even though it was very inconvenient).

“Cheryl” from their company then contacted me to rearrange the visit at which point I asked her if she could ask her service man to wait a little longer when he rings our doorbell to enable us to answer, and to please ring twice before walking away in case we do not hear the first time as we could be on a phone call. I went on to explain what happened previously, again I was NOT complaining, just making a request. Cheryl inferred that my recollection of what happened previously was incorrect (despite it being recorded on our ring camera). I didn’t think any further about it - and did NOT ask for any further update regarding this matter so was very surprised to receive a 2nd telephone call from her. She said she had spoken to the service man and once more she started to challenge my facts. I again reiterated what we witnessed on our video ring doorbell but really was not desiring or expecting to make such a big deal about it. Unbelievably she rang me a 3rd time to again continue arguing with me and stated that she had all the ‘facts and timings’. She then said that they expect people to answer the door when their service men ring, and they expect people to be in! (God forbid that you maybe on the toilet, or on the phone). By this point I’d had enough of Cheryl. Her harassment of two unnecessary calls and desire to challenge me and be so rude was astonishing so I abruptly ended the call.
This small issue really did not need to get to this point!

I immediately rang our letting agent who understood and apologised and said they would inform our landlord.

“Cheryl” would benefit greatly from an interpersonal skills and customer care course!

As I've replied to this same review on another platform, I'll keep this brief.
Jim arrived to service your boiler at the agreed time of day. You didn't hear the doorbell (you admitted it wasn't working)
Jim waited to see if anyone appeared to be home/answered the door. He then had to leave as he had a fully booked day ahead.
When I called you back to rearrange the service, you were angry, frustrated and keen for me to speak to Jim about why he'd only rung the (non working) doorbell once. I did this and called you back. You were argumentative so I offered to investigate our van tracking data and get back to you again, which you agreed to.
This confirmed that Jim waited at your property for five minutes before leaving.
Your landlord and letting agent have both apologised to us and requested we return to you, which we've declined due to your hostile attitude towards us.

We would be very happy to review the video evidence which we have never received from you.

Nothing but flawless!

From the onset Mike and Olly were nothing but exceptional, when they came to give us a quotation, you could see that they were both passionate about the work they do, which is one of the reasons why we chose them. It instilled a certain level of trust from the get go.

They were a true delight to work and deal with. They installed our new Worcester bosch Green star boiler in record time, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. They were kind, friendly, and considerate throughout their visit, happily working around us as we worked from home. The quality of their work is superb, with a flawless finish, I’m certainly impressed by how decent the brickwork was repaired around the flue! And how they tidied the finish so it would fit into a cupboard with ease. Throughout the install they kept us fully informed as the job progressed. Every request I had was met without issue or fault.

It was truly a 5/5 experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Olly from Shape hearing and pluming to anyone looking to have any work carried out on their plumbing.

Radiator replacement and Upgrade

Had my Radiators replaced by Mike and Olly.

As expected, they arrived on time, got down to work straight away and did the job to my entire satisfaction. On completion of the installation they carried all the necessary checks in the most meticulous manner, leaving me extremely confident that I can look forward to years of enjoyable warm heating. Thanks Mike and Olly.
I have no hesitation in recommending SHAPE.

Professional yet friendly service

Mike and Olly arrived on time yesterday to replace an old Alpha boiler with a greenstar 4000 and install a few isolation valves in bathroom and utility. What a great team. They cracked on, hardly made any mess and barely stopped for breath. Mike explained the boiler and thermostat functions in a way that was easy to understand. Overall a great service and fair price too. They will be my go to plumbers from now on.

Replacement Worcester 4000 Combi Gas Boiler

The team (Mike and Olly) arrived on time and set to work without pausing, to replace my Worcester Boiler. It was such a pleasure to see the diligence with which they applied themselves.
Mike makes an excellent Tutor and Olly relishes the way Mike looks after him - loving his job and apprenticeship.
I am happy to recommend SHAPE Contractors for excellent work at a fair price. Thanks Jim - you can be proud of your team.

I used this company last year to fit a new boiler - excellent, friendly and professional service. I was having my kitchen re-fitted and got another company to fit a new thermostat - this blew during snow situation. I called Shape; Becky is lovely, Jim was amazing. He fitted new - superior thermostat and everything working dandy. I would without hesitation recommend them and if needed I would use again. Thank you - great work and great team x

Great team of plumbing professionals!

Great team of plumbing professionals. Whether booked in for a routine service, or calling on them in emergencies, Shape have always provided an excellent service. How they managed to fit us in when our boiler packed in with the freezing weather we had earlier in the year is still amazing! Thoroughly recommended!

I was so impressed by how helpful and…

I was so impressed by how helpful and responsive Jim was. He worked quickly, honestly and efficiently and really seemed to care about getting the job done properly. He was helping my elderly and vulnerable Nan and was more concerned that he resolved the problem first before even considering payment! I was really impressed.... at a time when the industry was under a huge amount of pressure and demand with the recent snow conditions, he definitely went above and beyond offering help and guidance when many of the other companies I contacted were “too busy” to even consider calling me back! I’d highly recommend this company.... the lady in the office was so lovely on the phone too! I’ll be contacting them without a doubt for any other jobs I need doing!!

Professional and trusted

Very good service - highly knowledgeable and professional service of our boiler. Any issues identified with the boiler were fully explained (backed up with photos) and the aim is clearly to keep the boiler running trouble free. Office staff very helpful too, keeping us informed of even 30 minute delays to arrival time. All round a highly professional and trustworthy company.
