Don’t expect any help if something goes wrong

Avoid this company. Slumberdown sent me the wrong item and then completely failed to deal with it. It has now been 2 weeks and despite sending 4 emails and completing their online contact forms, I still have no response and no resolution.

Sending the wrong item is one thing — mistakes happen. But ignoring a customer for two weeks when it is your error is frankly disgraceful. Their customer service is either non-existent or they simply do not care once they have your money.

I have wasted far too much time chasing this and have been met with silence. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to shop elsewhere unless you are happy to risk being left on your own if something goes wrong.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased a dog bed from Slumberdown via AMAZON. when the parcel arrived there were pillows inside and no sign of a dog bed. I telephoned Amazon but I found them very unhelpful - I was told that I had to send the pillows back before they could re-send the correct item or refund. I asked if I would have the pillows collected and was told the supplier does not provide that service. She offered to send me a postage return label - when downloaded and printed I noticed I was being asked to pay the postage - which did not sit well with me.

On the return label was the supplier for Slumberdown [John Cotton] - I Googled their number a telephoned. I spoke to a very helpful customer service agent named Suzy. Suzy went above and beyond to help me. I was sent a link to Evri and arranged a collection for the next day. I didn't even need to go outside when Evri arrived - I left it in our parcel box and they collected it (I received an immediate notification to confirm collection).

The new dog bed arrived next day as Suzy kindly sent it out once she knew Evri had collected the pillows.

In summary - I was impressed with the high level of customer service provided by Slumberdown/ John Cotton and it is a shame Amazon could not have done all of this for me - as it was them I purchased the dog bed from. 10/10 - thank you Suzy..!!

Incorrect pillows were sent to me

Incorrect pillows were sent to me, which has caused significant pain to me. I unpacked without reading and just after having regular pain, went back to the packing and found that it was not what I ordered.

Daughter is very happy

Daughter is very happy. I wasn't sure if I was buying the right thing - her mattress was fairly new but the springs needed a topper and this is perfect. She has a springy mattress with a thick layer and no more complaints!

The order arrived in split packaging

The order arrived in split packaging, the pillows are lumpy. I have contacted Slumerdown on more than one occasion, via email and their web site, but they have not bothered to respond, other than generic replies. I have also sent photographs of the damaged packaging and the pillows. When I buy any item I expect the item to be perfect, the pillows most definitely weren’t.

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!! Had 2 fail and replaced, when the 3rd one failed they refused to replace it because it was out of warranty from the original purchase date despite the trash they sent to replace it being well within the warranty period. These blankets are absolute junk and should not be on the Market! 3 have failed in 2 years!!!

Recently purchased a wool heavy weight…

Recently purchased a wool heavy weight duvet - beautiful quilt , nice and heavy like a weighted blanket. Lovely and warm. I will purchase the summer weight quilt and replace the quilts in the rest of the house. Quick delivery as well as a good price.

Bad Experience

Firstly, the wrong item arrived, then there was no info on how to return it as it wasn't faulty or used. So I ended up trying to find an email to ask them, then wait for them to reply back.....and I've waited and waited...still no response.

Problems answered

It was good to find a solution to my husband's and my sleeping problems ie I am always cold and need a warm duvet he is always too hot. I didn’t know such a duvet existed until I started browsing. I ordered straight away on finding this and it was delivered the next day.
