Return my money!

If I could I would give zero starts! Appalling customer service!!! I ordered something on 9december to arrive before Christmas, no one answers the phone, replies to emails or chats. There’s no way I can cancel my order and it hasn’t been dispatched yet. This is just the worst customer service I have ever seen. Last time I ordered from them. Never never never again. Also! Return my money!

No customer service when something goes…

No customer service when something goes wrong, as it has with my most recent order. I’ve sent them a couple of messages using the portal on their website, but have not received a reply. There is no phone number. Seems to be no way of contacting them to address the matter.

Great experience

I nearly didn't purchase anything based on the reviews on here...but I'm really glad I went for it. I had no issues with my order, fast dispatch and delivery to NZ within a week. No complaints my side, don't be put off by all the bad reviews.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY

I ordered a puffer vest. It arrived and it was the wrong size. I returned it and received a confirmation email of Refund going to my Paypal. BUT NO FUNDS HAVE BEEN REFUNDED. Its been escalated to a claim but this is a company that seems to be constantly ripping customers off. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Worst company I've ever dealt with.

Worst company I've ever dealt with.

-So I spent $500 NZD on the 21st May 2024.
-Their website clearly indicated 2-5 working days for delivery. So with that in mind delivery should have been at the latest on 28th May 2024.
- I didn't receive anything in that time so naturally I emailed them on numerous occasions.
- Their responses were slow, they said a lot of words but didn't actually say anything. Just jargon. Full of excuses but no solutions.
- After many emails back and forth my parcel got delivered on the 14th June.
- Unfortunately my parcel was stolen in my apartment lobby because the courier just left it there. Part of my parcel being stolen also lies with SurfStitch for not using a proper courier such as DHL, UPS or FedEx. They go for the cheapest delivery service.
- Very slow and poor service.
- Please, please, please do not use this company to buy your goods. There is a very valid reason why they have a rating of 1.3 on here.
- I organised a chargeback through my bank BNZ and within a couple of weeks I got my full refund through my bank.

Bought a men’s black quicksilver zip up…

Bought a men’s black quicksilver zip up hoodie (online surfstich) & wearing it out last night & the little quicksilver logo on front of jacket fell off like it was just stuck on obviously come unstuck after 1 wash so yea disappointed now it’s just a black zip up hoodie 👎🏻☹️

Highly recommend NEVER buying anything from Surfstitch

Adding my very negative experience to the long list - going back years - of other people who have also been through what I have.

WORST business that I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. I highly recommend NEVER buying anything from Surfstitch, and, if you really feel you must then ONLY DO THIS IF YOU CAN USE PAYPAL.

Disgusting that the Australian government allows businesses like this to continue ripping people off.

ADVOID AT ALL COSTS

I should have looked here first....
I tried to purchase another pair of brown KUSTOM thongs available online through Surf Dive and Ski and Surf Stitch. However, both companies have been incredibly disappointing in terms of customer service. I attempted to buy from Surf Dive and Ski, but they had technical issues. I made 7 attempts using my credit card being and 7 times my credit card was debited, and they were unhelpful in resolving the issue or providing an alternative payment platform. This led to a lot of wasted time with emails, online chats, and phone calls.

I then turned to Surf Stitch and used PayPal since my credit card wouldn't work as well. After waiting nine days for the thongs to arrive (with poor reviews for the courier company they use), they sent the wrong thongs. Another seven days passed before the slow courier company delivered the returned things, only to be told that my order was 'drop shipped' and no longer available. They refunded the money but deducted $13.00, leaving me out of pocket and without the thongs. this process has taken 30+ days, it is obvious that both business had bugs in the booking system which lead to a total terrible experience, shame as my old KUSTOM thongs were excellent

I've experienced mixed service quality

I've experienced mixed service quality. While the selection is broad, shipping times can be inconsistent and customer support response times vary. Ovall, it's a decent option if you are not in a rush, but there's room for improvement in service reliability.

Zero Customer Service

I bought some clothes from this company. The delivery process was fine but the fabric on two pairs of shorts ripped. I tried to contact them to discuss a return but they do not have a phone number on their website. They have an online chat, which I have been waiting for the last 3 hours for someone to speak to - their useless AI chatbot keeps telling me to patient and it is connecting me to an agent. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend buying from this company.

Brand new wetsuit? Yeah right!

Just bought a brand new wetsuit, except it arrived with permanent marks on it. After I enquired about it, the process looks dubious. Arrange to send it back, wait up to two months, maybe get a refund or exchange. But after reading the reviews on here, I think I have to live with a damaged product. It's a pretty diabolical way to run a business. Will not be back.

I have sent over 15 messages & no response

I have sent over 15 messages & tried to call surftitch with no response. I am worried about my order almost $500) which hasn't arrived. I had no gifts to give my son for his birthday & can't afford to buy more. I have previously purchased from surfstitch and had no problem but I am truly upset by this. Why will they not respond tonmy messages ?

What changed?!

Gone downhill significantly in the past 6 months.

Used to be able to contact someone either via phone or chat. Now you leave a message and it can take upwards of 4 days to hear back. Returns take 2 weeks after your items arrive back to be processed.

Get your gear elsewhere as so many other online stores put these guys to shame.

Scammers

Scammers. Plain and simple. To this day they still owe me money. It’s especially hard during the holidays. Surfstitch has made it worse. Their communication is shoddy at best.

Failed to provide advertised discount

Failed to provide advertised discount, offered $30 coupon to apologise for $50 overcharge, coupon didn't work, their response was to tell me I don't know how to cut-and-paste a number into their form. No further response despite numerous emails from me. Abysmal customer service.
