Unethical marketing practices: spam mail
This company has begun sending me their paper catalogue in the mail, which I never signed up for (had never even heard of them). When you add up all the resources consumed in production, delivery, and disposal of the catalogue, I can't imagine how they justify it all just for the (extremely) slim chance of making a sale that way. Nevermind the waste of my time. I would never do business with a company that operates that way.

STEER CLEAR
I ordered a Bomber Jacket that took 10 days to ship out, but to be fair, it was noted that it wouldn’t ship until 4 days after placing my order because of stock for the item was delayed. After it not shipping after 8 days, I called and was told that stock had been received, but that it still had to be checked by quality control before shipping out, and after another 2 days, it finally did. After a week’s travel time, it arrived in good order. Nice enough jacket, (although I’m not sure it was worth $220) and I was happy it came after over 2 weeks. I had ordered an XL because the chest is 46-48, and even spoke to a customer service person regarding exact sizing for that particular garment… which they said was indeed 48”. I try it on, and I am swimming in it. I measured the chest and it was 54”. Still feeling good about the jacket overall, I decided to send it back and exchange it for a size Large. The jacket went back out the following day, and after a week long trip back, was delivered to them. After not getting an email saying it was received and my replacement was on the way (a full 10 days after tracking showed it was delivered back to them) I reached out again wondering when I’d receive my replacement and they said, “Return processing can take 10-14 business days and we’re technically still within that period… but I also should inform you that there may be an additional 2 weeks more because our shipping department is slowed down due to the new system integration”. Having had enough, I said to just cancel the order, to which the cs rep said, “I’ll put in a request to cancel this. You’ll get an email once it’s been cancelled” and that was 3 days ago. We’ll see how long it takes to get a notification and refund. If I don’t have a notification by COB Monday, I’m filing a claim with the BBB. Never have I had so much trouble with a company in my life. I’m seriously amazed that they’re still in business with the way they run things. Their business model is laughable at best. Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR of this company. Lesson learned. Never again.

Just Not Worth It
I've shopped here for decades, including back when it had actual stores, but I'm done.
It sells merchandise that is not in stock with no "on backorder" warning and then charges your card immediately. I made a $400+ order a week ago and when I started a chat session yesterday on August 4 to see why my order hadn't shipped I was told it was on backorder until "about September 25". I cancelled and was promised a refund to my card.
The website is glitchy--either doesn't load pages or the pages are scrambled (I use Chrome). Plus my order from a week ago was not reflected in Order History--why--so I wouldn't know it was backordered?
For me there is just a general "scammy" feel to dealing with TA.
And while the quality is generally good, sometimes it isn't. Who wants to wait 8 weeks for an order and possibly discover a problem with quality. Just not worth it.
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service of any retailer in the USA!! First, my order was incorrect size, way way late on receiving it after Memorial Day, after I ordered changed the item to last call & Not returnable. The customer service agent even refused to let me speak with his supervisor instead telling me the answer would be the same. In his words I had no way to appeal & I was SOL!!
This company is a shell of an order house selling inferior clothes at full retail prices & uses bait & switch techniques to deceive people. This is not my first bad experience with this company and I will never ever order again and I recommend that the public stay away from this company. At this point I am going to file a complaint with the federal trade commission. I’m going to contact the congressional members offices from the corporate headquarters state that they are from and I’m gonna trash company on social media. I encourage all others to do the same.

Ordered a blazer. Wrong size arrived. Ordered another one. Wrong size again. Ordered the third one. Wrong size. Returned the 1st. Got $40 less in refund. 2nd and 3rd they refused the return. Customer service is horrendous. Clothes are overpriced and the quality isn’t good . Do yourself a favor-save money and nerves.Don’t buy from them.

After 10 uses, the $300 sweater I purchased is falling apart.
I tried to reason with customer service, but they were as useful as this one armed sweater. Territoryahead won't stand behind their product, so don't waste your time or money on them. I don't normally write reviews, but if I could spare just one person, it'll be worth it.
Unethical company
My latest experience with Territory Ahead has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I ordered two pair of Mission Chino flat-front pants, one barley color, one asphalt colored (along with two shirts) on or around November 25, 2022. The asphalt pants were on back order, I was informed, and not expected until February 2023. I received the barley pair in December. They were not the right size. When i called to return the barley pair on Jan 12, i advised the customer service agent that i spoke with that the asphalt pair that I had ordered would also be the wrong size. He told me that he would take care of it and they would send the correct size. The asphalt pair arrived on Feb. 17 but was the wrong size.
I called to return them and request a replacement on Monday, Feb 27. I spoke with customer support person named Harold. He informed me, after putting me on hold several times to try to speak with “management", that he couldn’t get hold of anyone and that he couldn’t send the return label without approval from “management”, even though Territory Ahead’s return policy as stated on the website is that it will accept returns within 60 days of shipping date.
It has been over two weeks since I began to try to return these pants. Harold has told me in several telephone conversations since then that he still hasn’t been able to get approval from “management” but that he is working on it. I also spoke to another customer service rep who assured me that they . A customer service rep should not even need “management approval” to honor the company’s printed return policy!
I have found several references on the web referring to Territory Ahead going out of business. Going on 16 days now, I suspect that I am just being given the runaround while the company is in the process of closing down. This is a a terribly unethical company. Don’t do business with it!

Just as others have described - twice I’ve ordered something and I didn’t receive a shipping notification. I go into their site only to find the item I ordered which showed available is out of stock. I get no notice while they hold onto my payment. I have to call to find it that they do not have it and don’t know if it’s truly backordered or simply out. Too bad they have crappy customer service and production processes. My husband really likes their shirts and I’m stuck trying time and time again to unsuccessfully order them because the company can’t manage their business well.

I ordered a shirt during Black Friday weekend. When it arrived I noticed a hole in the seam so I contacted Customer Service. They assured me they had another in stock that they would immediately ship out plus they provided me with a return label for the damaged shirt. I never received the replacement so I contacted them again. They confirmed that they received the damaged shirt from me but never sent the replacement and now it is no longer in stock. It was supposed to be a present from my wife and she is very upset about the whole thing. I doubt I will order from them again.

If you actually want to RECEIVE items ordered, go to another website. These people never have anything in stock. You’ll get a notice that everything you ordered is “back ordered”, followed by a “cancellation”. But, they will charge you immediately. Just called to see why the order I placed days ago hasn’t shipped. Found out everything I ordered except one item was backordered. Had to just cancel the entire order so I can shop elsewhere and actually receive Christmas gifts in time. Their stuff is nice, but they don’t actually have any of it available. Not sure why they’re bothering to advertise!
