Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 338 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers found the quality of the products to be poor, describing them as dry, stale, and made with cheap ingredients, which often resulted in an unpleasant taste and texture. Reviewers also frequently mentioned that the products were overpriced for the quality received, with some comparing them unfavorably to supermarket alternatives. The long wait times for orders, often extending beyond the advertised period, were a significant source of frustration for many, especially given the perceived low quality of the items upon arrival. Some people were dissatisfied with the customer service, citing rudeness and being blocked on social media for raising concerns about quality or wait times. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with their orders, praising the taste, generous portion sizes, and overall quality of the baked goods, stating they were well worth the wait.

Avoid.

Warning: Do not order from this baker. Despite initial promises of a 12-week wait, delivery times have stretched to over 6 months with no clear resolution. Quality has suffered, with reports of cheap ingredients making products taste synthetic. Cookie pies have minimal cookie dough, and cakes are dry.

The baker appears more focused on social media and lifestyle than fulfilling orders. Orders remain open despite long delays, potentially sustaining an unsustainable lifestyle funded by customers' money. Extensive social media posts showcase luxurious spending on holidays, dining, clothes, and gadgets, contrasting sharply with poor customer service and product quality.

Concerningly, comments about wait times and food quality seem to be deleted from his social media. Hygiene standards also raise concerns - products appear poorly handled.

Customers asking about their place in the queue are met with rude responses, and there's even suggestions of poor handling practices.

Given these issues, it's best to avoid this baker. Sharing this aims to inform others.

Do not order off this company

Do not order off this company.
Read reviews before doing so. On his website its has gone from a 12 week wait once ordered and paid for to 6 months +
And let me tell you his cakes are certainly not worth the wait.
Cheap ingredients used so taste very synthetic, the cookie pies have the thinnest of layer of cookie dough on them and his sprinkle sponge cake was so dry.
Looks like Terry is more interested in becoming a social media personality rather than getting on with baking and fulfilling the back log of orders. Keeps his orders open so he And his wife can maintain a certain lifestyle in a not so honest way. Holidays, trips away, eating out all the time, expensive clothes and gadgets. I’ve seen it all over his social platforms. Oh yes not forgetting his go fund me and begging. The guy is something else.

Scammers through and through

Please please do not order from this company.
No customer consideration at all.
Abuses customers consistently!

Deletes any negativity from social media.

Six months wait on cakes but still keeps orders open as he hasn’t the cash flow to fulfill old orders as all has been spent. New orders are paying for historic orders. He should be a character in Aladdin, ‘new orders for old’.

He is head butting cakes he is making instead of fulfilling orders.

Terry Pegler and wife are taking everyone for fools.
A bad foot is on the cards soon and then a holiday!

Wise up sheep!

Fantastic bakes..Best sprinkles sponge ever!

I ordered my box in September and my cakes arrived in February. I knew there would be a wait as Terry is always open and honest about that.

I was so impressed with the order. The range of cakes were amazing. The School Sprinkle cake was the BEST I have ever tasted! The portion sizes were big and we split them all between 4 and had them in 2 sittings as there we couldn't finish it all.

The Biscoff and white chocolate cookie pie was my favourite, we also had gold bar brownie, it was all so delicious. The cookie we got was kinder, my boys thought that was there favourite.

Late in leaving a review, but thought I definitely need to after reading so many negative comments. The comments differ so much from my experience, so it really makes me think these are false reviews. Such a shame as people should be behind independent businesses and not trying to destroy people due to jealousy.

Delicious

Recieved order.
Tasted 3/4 Of the bakes but only because 1 of them is biscoff and I'm not a fan so cant comment on that

Cakes I taste tested were absolutely delicious! Recommend highly

Only downside is the wait time but I suppose us customers are aware of this when we order!

Awful cakes

Awful cakes, very dense and dry, can taste the chocolate used is the cheapest you can buy. Drip cakes are definitely not worth it. Better cakes from better bakers are a plenty compared to this slob

Hi all my honest review Terry only waited 15 weeks for my order , again I ordered thought they were something different, I think Terry bakes for videos but buys from Costco some cakes look very familiar . It's a con instead of buying chocolate from Aldi he should be using Callebaut chocolate, and the cakes I recieved i think were 15 weeks old they were despicable and for the prices he charges , well ripped off

Cakes are absolutely shit

Cakes are absolutely shit, cheap ingredients, no taste and he makes you wait months after taking payment.
He thinks he big man around Norwich 🤣 if he spent more time baking as he does sticking his nose into other people's businesses and scamming everyone out of money. Police needs to look into him for fraud

Stop taking orders and increase the quality , ordered in September and only just arrived and to say the wait wasn’t worth it is an understatement, bone dry and cheap tasting, I have had better quality from Asda own brand! Since ordering I have noticed terrys ego has grown and his rudeness towards people who spent their money is just shocking, during my wait I was given no updates at all and 12 weeks turned in to many more without an explanation nor an apology.

Ordered cakes 5 months ago and still…

Ordered cakes 5 months ago and still received nothing. He openly laughs and jokes about how behind he is on orders due to his popularity, whilst creating paid promotional videos on tik tok.

I hope nothing happens to Terrys health, and he is unable to work, as theres 1000’s of pound's of unfilled orders where the money has obviously already be spent.

I worry about him and the customers. As the money and back log of orders has spiralled out of control, he’s taking off Pete to pay Paul.

Please please don’t order from Terry, even his followers thst follow him and cant see it. You’re not helping him by ordering and increasing the back log. Behind closed doors and away from tik tok he will be suffering from the pressure. What you see on tik tok is just a front of someone very close to breaking point
