We have just received an "invoice" from True Telecom for June 2017.
we do not use True Telecom, but it was sent to a business email address where someone in the accounts department might be likely to pay it without even thinking.
Appalled!

Hi my landline telephone was dead. I contacted True d with the help of Colin the problem was sorted quickly and efficiently. I particularly liked the phone call afterwards to check everything was now working ok. Well done

Update....truetelecom contacted me after I wrote a review on here. They apologised and sent me out a new router, which they claimed was better than my current one.
Router arrived so I set it up and now instead of pages just taking forever to load..now it just said "No internet connection" . It improved slightly. But there was still no way 2 people could look at for example Facebook at the same time on Wi-Fi. That's just ordinary content, no videos or photos. Truetelecoms only other solution was for us to sign up to a fibre broadband service.."its the same price as what you're paying now" they said..what they didn't say until asked directly was that it would be a whole new 12 month contract..there is no way in hell I would sign up to service this appalling for another year!
We decided to go back to the old router. It was better for a couple of days but then today (Sat) there is no connection..i couldn't even open a Google search for truetelecoms phone number. Luckily I have data on my mobile..which iv nearly used up my monthly allowance on due to the terrible broadband....i found truetelecoms number...they only work mon-fri. This is meant to be a business contract how in this day and age can you have not even technical support available on a Sat!!
I am self employed and often use Saturday to do my paperwork for the business as I am out working Mon-Fri. But no..thanks to truetelecom I can't even connect to my online banking or my emails.
I give up. Now paying for a service that was bad and is now unusable.
Absolute fraudsters. Aggressive conduct and so far have cost me £900 whilst claiming to "not expect people to spend money to save money". Not sure how people who work for this company sleep at night, presumably with a large pay check for their cut throat sales tactics ie lies!!

Very rude sales people. I have been called 4 times by Warren. I expalined v politely that I was not interested. When I remind him that we have already spoken and that I asked him to not call again he hangs up on me. Appalling customer services, would not touch with a barge pole!!!!

Taken over the account from our parents no end of trouble broadband always down over 20 calls and more since March they change the account plus add add-ons themselves and charge us more money engineer finally comes out today a broadband engineer they tell me we have been kapped at 7meg to the exchange when I ask why it's supposed to be around 20 and they finally sort it today.... tru telecom u are a complete joke!!!! Guess what it's happens again router is kicked the broadband out and now no internet once again u charge people money for a device they can't use and not only sell customers accounts to company's they are not notified of like chess billing ring a bell? We have a 12 month contract and will be ending it u have not kept to ur contract and we will be going somewhere else....

I was agreeably surprised this lunchtime, when True Telecom contacted me, to ensure that my line fault had been cleared. This is the first time any customer support department has followed up so assiduously.

As my first review, for Harrison Richards, does not seem to have arrived with Trustpilot and I cannot now access the review page for him, I add that Michael was the second person involved in this fault fixing. The first person I had contact with was Harrison Richards.
Harrison was courteous and helpful. He even stayed on the job when we were cut off. By the time I got back to him, he had tested the line and was in the process of reporting the fault.
It then took only a few minutes to complete the task. It seems to me that this is exceptional servcie, since the normal result of being cut off is that one has to return to the beginning with another person. Thank you Harrison.
I very much appreciated Harrison, the young woman who took my second call and quickly reconnected me with him, and Michael, all of whom offered service of exceptional quality.

They switched our account last year after giving us the impression they were ringing from BT which we then found out that they weren't. This cost us money - they agreed to close account when they had to admit that we had said on the phone that we didn't want it. Recently I had a call from 'BT' I asked outright if he was ringing from BT which he refused to answer so I hung up. We have now received a bill for the last 2 months!!!!!
This company clearly relies on conning money from the public!!! We will not be paying it!!!!!!!!
Our advice - hang up immediately!

After various problems initially setting up my Broadband with True Telecom, when my router arrived Michael James in the technical department was extremely helpful, and made it very easy for me to connect to the internet.

Had a bad experience with true telecom and for 18 months no-one would listen to my complaints until I spoke to Robyn Thorley from the first phone call to her she sorted all my problems out without brushing anything under the carpet. This company could do with more Robyn Thorleys they may get a bit more respect from their customers. Thanks again Robyn for listening and seeing my problems.

I called True Telecom technical support to resolve an issue I was having setting up a WiFi extension network.
Agent Michael James called back and the issue was resolved by re-naming the Wi-Fi network.
I was happy in that the issue was resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Colin Pearson investigated our problem (phone not ringing for incoming calls) promptly and efficiently before referring to Openreach. Outreach came on time and the engineer (Ray) resolved the problem quickly at the exchange. It would appear that the complete loss of the line a couple of days ago was not completely resolved by Openreach at the time.

Phone line crashed Friday evening. Unable to alarm the shop, broadband speed was worse than dial up, nobody could ring the store. Tried to get hold of someone at True Telecom, but they only work Monday to Friday. No weekend cover. Would not recommend if you run a business that operates at weekends.
We were having trouble making the wifi range extender work. Rang True Telecom and were put through to Jaimie who we had spoken with before on a different matter. He took the time and effort to research our problem with Belken and ring us back and talk us through the fix. Now all working properly again thanks to Jaimie. Excellent service again from True Telecom and thank you Jaimie!!
