Excellent service and a good price

We needed the shower, toilet, sink and unit for our new bathroom urgently. Aidan and Kasia were both excellent. They answered our numerous questions and then expedited our order through the system. When C-19 arrived and we needed some extra bits, they went the extra mile.

Exploiting the Coronavirus to Keep Customers’ Money

Wallingford branch - I accepted paying 20% (if not 50% on some lines) above online prices elsewhere as UK Bathroom Warehouse had a good showroom, apparently obliging staff and said next day delivery. On my second bathroom with them, I ordered a shower and shower screen on 21 March but it was not delivered for 9 to 10 days and when I chased again, it was easier for them to cancel (even though despatched for delivery) and promise a refund asap, than finally let me have the urgently awaited delivery. The money was not refunded as promised. Instead, the sales rep never replied further and instead asked a director colleague to email me refusing to process the Paypal refund because “all UK Bathroom Warehouse staff have agreed too dictates they are unable to do any work”. However, the website still states - "Our showrooms remain closed, but our sales and design teams are still in place”. They retained £1,241 indefinitely, while in fact still operating his business, leaving me to take the matter up with Paypal to obtain my refund. People taking advantage of the tragedy of the coronavirus to line their own pockets is not attractive. They would not have paid their supplier, yet they refuse to refund me my money. In contrast, QS Supplies, (very easy to contact) cost 15% less and delivered in under 24 hours; and despite Covid 19

i would just like to say the staff

i would just like to say the staff and help I received from the staff was excellent I had a twenty year old heritage gold shower and was trying
to replace taps and shower parts the staff were 100 percent sorting out my problems

Very poor processing

I am so sorry, I don't usually write reviews but I have had such a bad experience with this company that I had to let others know. I ordered a close coupled toilet from UKBathroomWarehouse recently. The cistern was wrong so I had to phone and it was changed quite easily, a delivery driver arriving the next day to collect the erroneous one and another driver arriving later with the correct one. But it then transpired that the internal fittings that had been sent originally were for the first cistern and didn't contain the required close coupling kit for the proper cistern. No one had thought to send an installation pack with the replacement cistern. I called to have one sent and instead received another syphon set that still didn't fit. All of this time the plumber was unable to continue with the work of fitting the toilet. I ended up phoning the toilet manufacturer (Heritage) directly where firstly I was cut off after being asked to hold, and then I was put through 3 times to different people who in each, in turn, knew LESS about my case. I was on the phone for an hour before someone finally figured out what parts I needed and agreed to send them. The toilet itself seems fine, but the experience of getting it has been awful. I hope this does help you to improve your customer experience.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you feel frustrated with your experience. I understand that initially the incorrect cistern was sent. However our team resolved the issue with immediate effect sourcing the correct cistern and sending this on a next day delivery. It is very unusual for cistern fittings to not be inside the packaging, but once notified we sourced and delivered the parts required very quickly. I am afraid I cannot comment on Heritage Bathrooms customer service but I will of course pass your feedback on to them.

I believe that we have gone above and beyond to resolve any issue which did occur in a timely fashion, and although a part of the order was incorrect I feel that a 2 star rating does not reflect the after sales service that you received from our team.

They can't deliver

The courier they used failed to ring to arrange delivery, delivering when I was at work. When it was rearranged, and despite having previously visited the property, they came in an unsuitable vehicle and asked us to drive to them to take the delivery (I have no car). The courier's attitude was horrific, at one point threatening to call the police on my 65 year old father when he asked them to take the item into the front yard instead of blocking the pavement. UK bathrooms should realise that delivery of their products is an important part if their business and select their partners more carefully.

Bathroom order

I placed the order online and delivery was going to take up to ten days. In the meantime I decided to change part of the order. Called the customer service, nice voice, no problem with changing things and got even refund directly on my account, quick and easy. Everything arrived on time. Thank you.

Possibly capable of 5 stars, except I was sent the wrong item. However, this was resolved very quickly, with a straight replacement and collection swop, completed within 3 working days as promised.
