Easy simple process
Provided details of an empty run down property last year received an email today to advise the property meet their criteria and have today received a £20 Amazon voucher. If they buy it I receive 1% of the purchase fee but even if it doesn't I have received a £20 voucher for just a few minutes work.

Just received my 20 vouchers I've received them few times and customer services is amazing never had an issue.
Reporting an empty house is a brilliant…
Reporting an empty house is a brilliant concept with such pressure on the housing market to build new ones. Plus it is so wasteful of a valuable resource just left to decay unoccupied. Very good service.
Huge potential in exchange for a little effort
Everyone I have communicated with in the team have been very helpful, extremely polite, and professional at all times. I have submitted one property so far and received a £20 Amazon voucher as promised. The voucher alone was reward enough for the time it took. However, should the property be bought by 'You Spot Property' I'll be more than glad I invested a little of my time here. As they say "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". Fingers crossed.
Complete waste of time and effort…
Initially thought it seemed like a great idea. How wrong I was. Made the effort to submit three properties way before Christmas, only to be told today that they don’t meet the criteria because someone else has already submitted them. Now, you might think it sounds like sour grapes, but it’s not. The annoyance is that I chased them up over all three twice, January and February. Both times I was told “we are still researching the properties” and will “hopefully have some good news for you soon”. Now, surely if someone else has already submitted the same properties if would flag up straight away? Well not with youspotproperty. Very poorly organised. They could, and should, have stated this the first time I chased them up, let alone when I first submitted them before Christmas. Now if this is how they’re organised, I wouldn’t be surprised if they purchase run down properties you submit and not pay you the commission, Instead just telling you that they don’t meet criteria because of prior submission from someone else. You do the leg work for them while they sit back laughing with their feet up. All in all, a complete waste of time and effort.
In response to your reply - I will not be removing my review. The fact you have said “isn’t alot of effort” isn’t exactly painting yourselves in a good light and is more than enough reason to not change my review. What if some people choose to drive around their town/city trying to find as many as possible? Their petrol, their time, doing your legwork, as I’ve already stated. You might have been inundated with submissions, but that’s not mine or anyone else’s fault. As a business you should be planning for all eventualities. The minute you get mainstream media coverage, especially via Martin Lewis, of course it’s going to explode!? It’s free cash, and when you advertise it as up to £10000 then it’s going to be a scramble. At least your marketing department is earning their money.

Waste of time
Waste of time. Submitted a property (14th January) Iknow has been empty for some time.
Didn't receive a confirmation email so I chased it a week later. Told to wait 30 days. Heard absolutely nothing.
Pleasantly surprised
I've been using this website for just under a year now. I've had around £140 in Amazon vouchers, and yesterday was notified that a property I submitted several months ago has been purchased and I was paid over £500 for finding it! I really wasn't expecting to ever get a large pay out from them.
There have been a few properties that I've been certain have met all the criteria when I submitted them, but they said they were still looking into them and then I heard nothing afterwards. That's been a bit disappointing.
There was one I submitted which they told me didn't meet criteria because it was occupied (it wasn't, it's 3 doors down from me so I knew) I submitted it again 3 months later and they said it didn't qualify because it had been empty for over 12 months!
All in all I can't complain. It's money for free for just keeping my eyes peeled on car journeys!
Although I first reported an empty…
Although I first reported an empty property near me ten years ago (having heard an article in ‘You and Yours’ on Radio 4), clearly You Spot Property hadn’t forgotten me! They dutifully sent me the M and S voucher at the time for which thank you!
Just this week I had a call from them to say they had purchased the property and that I was entitled to 1% of the purchase price!
This is great news as the money will come in very handy indeed. Over the last year I have needed implants as I have lost four teeth! I have been wondering how on earth as a pensioner I was going to finance this but luckily my dentist will accept instalments so I already have the first instalment!
The company and its PR partner (Meerkat PR) have been most helpful, courteous and prompt in their interaction with me and with the payment.
It is good that the derelict property which had been being abused and had oodles of rubbish dumped in its front garden will now be refurbished and be home to a family before too long hopefully.
I will now keep my eyes open (as will my sons!) to try and spot other similar properties!
Thank you to Sam, Ben and David and I wish you success in your ventures.

We’ve known of a lovely little country…
We’ve known of a lovely little country property for at least 10 years and we always questioned to ourselves if anyone was living there. I then heard about YouSpotProperty on the radio and figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. It just took about 10 mins of my time to complete the form and submit some photos and that was it. I’ve just received an Amazon voucher by email and keeping my fingers crossed that it’s a purchasable property 🤞
Heard their advert on the radio and…
Heard their advert on the radio and knew of a couple properties in my village so I went to their website and filled in an online form and sent a photo of one of them. It took a while as I guess they had to check the property met their criteria. To be honest I forgot all about it then I got an email a couple months later and I received an Amazon voucher a couple days ago. I hope they purchase said property and I receive a few quid for the intro. 🤞🏼
Completely honest site
Completely honest site, received and spent the voucher, definitely looking out for more properties.
I stumbled on their website…
I stumbled on their website accidentally and I decided to give them a try and it turned out to be real. I just received my marks and Spencer reward voucher and I’m hoping they put the property in good use for the community as they promised.
I look forward to receiving finder’s fees if they sell the property and I will continue to send information about derelict homes to them.

I full appreciate the work that You Spot Property do. I have often been aware of empty properties sitting not being used and with apparently such high levels of empty homes across the UK. We need this type of initiative.,
Fabulous
Wasn't sure if I would receive a reply, but after seeing the advert on Television I decided to send details of a property in my village. I was so surprised to receive my Mand S voucher, I think it is a good idea to develop abandoned homes.
Genuine company - try it for yourself!
I saw this company advertised on TV and reported two properties on my street. One met the criteria and I have just received my £20 Amazon voucher! It worked exactly as they said it would. I sent them the address of the empty properties and photographs. My email was acknowledged and some weeks later I received the voucher.
Highly recommended.

Unable to open the link for the voucher so it’s pointless sending one!
Great Concept, Great Rewards!
I had a fantastic experience with YouSpotProperty! It's a brilliant concept that benefits everyone. I reported a derelict property in my neighborhood, and the process was incredibly straightforward. I received a £20 voucher as a thank you, which was a nice surprise. More importantly, I love that they're bringing empty homes back into use and contributing to the community. It's a win-win! I highly recommend YouSpotProperty to anyone looking to make a difference and potentially earn a reward
Not well run
Not well run, poor communication, have given up on them.

This worked exactly as they described
This worked exactly as they said it would. It’s the first time I’d dealt with You Spot Property, so had no idea what to expect. I was amazed at how efficient they were. I sent them the address of the empty property and pics. They came back to me for clarification. Then they sent the voucher. It was all very quick. I am impressed and will pass more info to them as I come across it.
