I was scammed by Krystal’s in the mall

I was scammed by Krystal’s in the mall. FB add offering a $300 facial for $99. I went into the spa and the sales pitch. I see people have left reviews spending $1500, $2000 and whatever other amounts I haven’t read about. Well, I feel like an idiot…$5000 later! Why is there a broad range of prices???? This is complete B.S. As far as the device and what it’s supposed to do, I am not sure it is doing anything. But $5000!!!!!! Really?????? Totally criminal!! I’m pissed!!

This company hides behind the excuse…

This company hides behind the excuse that they’re “just the manufacturer,” which is nothing more than evading responsibility. Their product, the Perfectio Plus, is marketed through high-pressure spa sales at outrageous prices, using exaggerated “FDA Class II medical device” claims and flashy packaging to mislead consumers. They benefit directly from these sales, so pretending they have no responsibility for how their products are pushed onto financially vulnerable people is unacceptable. Consumers deserve better — and regulatory bodies should be looking into how these devices are being marketed.

I am in the process of filing a formal complaint against their sales partner, Kristals Spa, for deceptive and predatory sales practices — and Zero Gravity is part of that chain. Without their devices, Kristals wouldn’t be able to run this scheme. Zero Gravity may claim they’re “just the manufacturer,” but they knowingly supply their products to a company notorious for unethical sales tactics, making them complicit in the process.

I bought the Zero Gravity a few years…

I bought the Zero Gravity a few years ago. I’ve been somewhat happy with it. Until it stopped holding a charge. I contacted the company and got no results. I spent a lot of money on their product and I expected it to last lots longer than a few years. So why would I buy a replacement when it probably won’t last longer than a few years? After reading reviews this seems to be a common problem.

I’ve been using the Perfectio Gold Plus…

I’ve been using the Perfectio Gold Plus device and I’m truly impressed. The combination of LED infrared light and heat therapy has noticeably reduced fine lines and improved the overall appearance of my skin. My complexion looks smoother, firmer, and more radiant—like having a professional spa treatment at home. I’m 45 years old, but everyone who sees me says I look like I’m 30! This device has truly become a key part of my anti-aging skincare routine. Highly recommended.

Expensive & faulty but customer service is good

Have spent thousands of dollars on 2 devices. One stopped working after 3 uses within 3 weeks of buying it new and no longer turns on at all. The customer service was great and are sending a replacement and are waiving the shipping fee. Very concerned about the quality of the purchase as many people have reported faulty devices and to be honest waiving a freight charge for an item not fit for purpose is actually an obligation not a perk in Australia. I hope the replacement device works and I will update the review once I get to use it. As many others have reported the sales tactics were very underhanded. Refunds for items that don’t work should be guaranteed. So far the manufacturing has not gone well with my purchase and there is definitely no way the device holds charge for the timeframe claimed, even the perfectio that is currently working. I’m wondering at what point the shipping is no longer free - is there a reasonable expectation on how long a new device should work when it costs this much? 3 weeks definitely doesn’t make the grade. It is also very odd that you can’t find much information or reviews on these products outside the official websites . . . There just seems to be something “off” about it all. I hope the replacement sapphire arrives and works for me and my perfectio also keeps running. If you buy one of these make sure you register it - I think you have 7 days to do so and make sure you get the warranty id as it seems there’s a really good chance your product will need replacement not long after you buy it. I’m sitting on the fence with this purchase not sure if it’s just bad luck but seems to be too many devices that need instant replacement in these reviews for that to be the case. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t purchase either device but sometimes you have to learn the hard way. On a plus side - it is quite relaxing to use I’m just not sure if it is effective yet.

IS this is a scam

Like so many others, I too took advantage of this red light therapy facial at a discounted rate February 3, 2025. I had not read any reviews because I was not familiar with the red light facial.
After the facial came The sales pitch…The Perfectio X, +3 Lavelier products, +2 additional facials 30 days apart. $2000! Yep, I bought it.
At the next facial, I pointed out I did not see results as expected, which Janet agreed! She questioned my usage protocol suggesting that I continue to perform every other day but do it the evening versus the morning. Now, during the 2nd facial she uses a ‘blue light’ tool stating this would help “prepare” my skin for the red light and then raved in the end about how much better my skin looked (personally I didn’t see any real change-no more than after any facial because of the products and massage used)
A week prior to my third facial, Janet reached out asking if I would come in earlier as a specialty aesthetician, Rachael from Miami (corporate) would be on site and she would like to review my home care usage of $2000 purchase. I also brought my unit so they could verify its proper operation.
Both girls critiqued my skincare program, how I followed Janet’s massage technique, the Lavelier skin products used, now evening vrs morning use.
Janet had to leave stating she would follow up with me the following week.
Rachael then performed my 3rd facial, again starting with the blue light first following with the red. NOW comes the new sales pitch.
I am told that I have “thick skin” (15 yrs postmenopausal at 70 years) and I needed additional “blue light” for more deeper treatment to see promised results.
The new unit is $5000 but she was offering it to me for $3500. They would take back my original unit and apply the full return price to the new unit that produced both blue and red light for an additional $1500!
I held firm that I could not afford another $1500 on top of the $2000 already spent.
We concluded the appointment and she said the offer would stand and Janet would be informed should I change my mind.
That was 10 days ago. Janet has not reached out as indicated March 27th.
I clearly feel I have been scammed, thankfully not falling for the second offer. But there is signage at the location stating No Refunds, and when checking the manufactures webs returns are ONLY possible if unit is purchased direct from them.🤔😡
I reached out to my Illinois State attorney seeking guidance under fraudulent activities and refund laws.

Customer Service beyond great!

I did not really believe this company (or any others) would actually fully replace a malfunctioning product even after a few years of use. But they did without question. Of course handling fees were required but minimal in relation to the cost of the product. I’m very relieved and impressed. Thank you Lily and others who helped me process this issue. Now I can get back to improving my skin condition.

A product and company you can trust 100%!

I have been using Zero Gravity's Perfectio X for some years. When I recently encountered some problems with the device, their customer service handled the matter quickly and replaced the device with a brand new one (honouring the lifetime guarantee promise). I am extremely impressed with the quality of the product and the service the company provides. I would highly recommend both the device and the company as they genuinely do deliver what they promise.

Great company - Outstanding service

Great company who sticks to its promises! We had problems with recharging the battery of our Perfectio X, sent a mail to the customer service and after exchanging the device data we immediately got a replacement within 8 days. For me this is an outstanding service especially as I couldn't believe that it is what they promised, a real life long guarantee.
It worked even across several countries as we bought the device ion London, but we live in Germany and my mail was addressed to the headquarter within the US!
By the way the replacement came by courier, not with the ordinary postal service, which makes the service even better and faster. Thank you customer support team!

ZeroGravity- a company that stands behind its products

I'd like to thank ZeroGravity for honoring their lifetime warranty on their product: Perfectio. The product wasn't holding a charge after 6 years. I was concerned that the company might not honor the warranty. But, they did without question or delay. I have used their product over the years and can really see the difference in my skin. Thanks, ZeroGravity for being a stand-up company!

I'm writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service I received from Zero Gravity. My Perfectio Gold device suddenly stopped working, and I contacted customer service. Within 24 hours of providing my warranty information, I received a call informing me that a replacement unit would be shipped. The unit arrived within several days.

I'm truly impressed by Zero Gravity's prompt response and excellent customer service. It's rare to find a company that stands behind its products, and Zero Gravity is certainly one of them. Thank you for your professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.
