I had a very unsatisfactory experience with their customer service. Despite their advertised deadlines in both standard and premium service packages, they consistently failed to meet them. Worse still, when I requested a refund due to their inability to deliver on time, they avoided addressing my concerns altogether, offering nothing but apologies for their high workload. Additionally, when they finally assigned a writer to me, it took an extra two days. Even though they provided a summary and curriculum vitae, I found it disappointingly similar to what I had provided them initially. Now, they're ignoring my refund request, seemingly waiting for the five-day period I have for edits to pass, just to automatically close the request without any resolution or response to my concerns. This entire ordeal has been a waste of TIME, and I cannot recommend their services.

My job hunt was going nowhere, so I contacted ZipJob for help with my resume. I took the first draft ZipJob provided and - after some touch ups - sent it off. I got a response literally within minutes as the new resume got past the ATS bots.

If I can talk to a person, I can often get the job. Getting past the bots has always been the tough part. Now I'm actually talking to recruiters! Very happy with my results.

Working with Zipjob was seamless and very efficient.

I asked for an executive CV to be written. Gave my existing CV, and Link to my LI profile and answered the questions they ask you. The first version I was sent was my LI profile (which is a summary of my CV). Then they said that I had to fill in the detail which was already in the CV I gave them. Went round the loop a few times on this and made no progress so having no confidence they could deliver for me what I needed in the time I needed it I asked for a refund. They tried to say they would get a supervisor involved etc but given how long it was taking and the terrible first attempt I declined. They offered this again. I declined , then they said I couldn't have my money back! See what they did there?

After the first version was delivered I tried to understand what skills the CV writer had. As an executive and having invested in the executive package one would assume some guidance would be given on what needs to be included. Clearly the person I had been given couldn't add any value except formatting.

I feel I've been conned. They give the impression they are going to optimise your CV for you. They don't. They simply send the job to some 3rd world sweat shop to make a fast buck. It's a reformatting service. You can get that for free on the web.

Probably the worst service I have had in years. Avoid them at all costs.

Immediately after I had placed this trust pilot review, they answer it with the usual platitudes on thread, I
implying that they want me to get the best service. They don't. They want me to give up asking for my money back. Since then they have sent me another email, asking for 1 day to deliver a completed CV. They failed to deliver anything. They phoned me to discuss. The person I spoke to was polite and courteous but couldn't give me any guarantees around timeliness or quality of work I would get. She too agreed that there wasn't anything they could do. After that call I receive an email from another person I haven't spoken to before, saying they wanted to make sure they delivered the best service. I asked they why they were sending it to me, no reply. Watch here for next instalment!!

Quick turnaround and great communication.

This was a great experience. The communication was timely and the services was extremely professional.

The process was easy, my consultant was responsive and provided me with what I needed.

Unfortunately, I have to give them a 1 star. The first resume I felt was a little wordy but I was assured this was the proper format and honestly the first one was at least getting picked up via autofill but was still not getting any hits. After my 60 days I was able to get it re-written and this time it was a lot shorter and this time I was told that each person has a different writing style, which is true, but they should all have at least some format to follow and ensure it gets picked up through autofill systems; the new format only gets read with a couple of my positions and I have to manually fill every thing else out.

I would not recommend this service to anyone.

The service was really quick! I sent in my info, and within 48 hours I had my first draft. It was seamless and stress free! Would absolutely recommend!

My resume needed to be built out and polished and I'm so glad I went with ZipJob to do it. The process was easy and the results (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile) were great- it was just what I was looking for. The collaboration was easy and the process took less than a week! Knowing that there are a lot of these services out there, reviews are super important and helpful when trying to make a decision. I read a million and am happy I went with this one.

My writer was good at putting together a good flow and putting together a good resume at a high level. Where I did run into issues was some of the language skills and getting my resume to consistently make sense. I sense that English is a second language for my writer (and KUDOs to everyone who is bi-lingual), so I have some grammatical errors/statements that do not make sense, in my resume. I sent a couple of emails pointing out the errors that needed to be corrected. After the first request to change, I received a response letting me know that I should trust ZipJob proven format. I sent a second email letting my writer know that I trust ZipJob's knowledge in the industry, however, my resume still didn't make sense in all areas. After that, I received another email with some of the requested changes and some things not corrected. Additionally, small things like the footer pages being correct/corrected is surprising to me. I feel like that it is a little, yet important detail. I called out that page 2 said "1 of 2" twice before it was corrected. In the most recent version provided, page 2 was corrected to say "2 of 2", but now page 1 also says page "2 of 2". At this point, I just made most of the changes myself, so I could move forward and get my resume out. If you're looking for a company to do most of the work and then you fine-tune, I would say that ZipJob could work for you. If you're looking for someone to do the entire job and care for all details, this might not be a good fit.

I loved that I was able to make changes until I was happy. I got the plan with the cover letter and LinkedIn acct fix. Zipjob was an easy process and worth the price. Zach was really great, patience and thorough.

The process was very easy and communication was great. I rated 4 stars because there were a few grammatical errors in the drafts I received, which surprised me.

I enlisted the help of this service just over a year ago.
I've received 1 interview using the Zipjob resume in that year. I am still in the same position I wish to leave behind. I even paid for the premium $300 service! When I received the first draft of my resume, I had my doubts about it, which I brought up with my writer. He did not have a solid command of the English Language, and it was difficult to communicate with him. However, he did agree to make some revisions. After receiving the fnal draft, the first recruiter that I submitted it to pointed out that there was grammatical inconsitencies. The writer used past tense for some of the bullet points, and present tense for others. Granted, I should have caught the error myself, but I had just spent $300 for a PROFESSIONAL WRITING SERVICE!! This is just the tip of the iceberg, but this review is already too long. Please, save your money and don't give it to these crooks!

Save your money and google a few examples of resumes in your field and experience level, then go to any number of AI-augmented sites like Career.io or ResumeGenius, or just keep it simple on a word doc following standard business convention (no pic, grapics, colors, tables, etc.)

ZipJob's is 100% off-shore (India most likely) staffed by non-native English speakers that take your existing copy and cram it full of obvious keywords to the point where your resume would make any recruiter's head explode. Then they want to charge you for a phone call to explain to them how they got it all wrong. In the end, you will have created more work for yourself by having to edit down their poor grasp of American english and modern business convention.

AND THEY WONT ISSUE A REFUND. BUYER BEWARE.
