The Case of the Missing Speaker
Bought two active speakers and lots of extras from Thomann a few months ago. A box of extras and one speaker arrived. I contacted them immediately to find out where the other speaker was. They asked me to send a photo of the two boxes which I did. Why they couldn’t just check their stock room I’m not sure. I was eventually passed to another department as the person I’d originally contacted couldn’t deal with it. It all went quite for a bit then. A few days later I got a shipping note emailed to me, no other contact or apology from Thomann. Five days later the speaker arrived. I had ordered them specifically for a gig that weekend meaning I had to rent another speaker from a company 25miles away! The lack of urgency to remedy the mistake was hugely disappointing. I was going to complain directly to them but was very busy at work at the time and franky after dealing with their other departments couldn’t be bothered. Just another load of box shifters unfortunately.
