Avoid at all costs, basically thieves. They will steal your device and pay either nothing or an insulting small amount…. Or you do have the option of paying them £20 to have your item returned. DO NOT USE

Absolutely shocking service total thieves my 15 yr old son is devastated 4 devices sent over a month ago no response to emails no payments - will be involving Trading Standards and the police

Wish I had of read these reviews first. Have just offered me less than half that was promised so now stuck with no phone and won’t receive back unless I send £20.

DISGUSTING COMPANY AVOID

Sent them my Galaxy s105G.They e mailed me stating it was damaged so offer would be reduced. Told them it was not and this was unacceptable and wanted my phone back after 15 e mails from me I was asked to pay £20.00 for them to return my phone.This I reluctantly did.6 weeks later got a phone back which was not mine. They sent me a damaged S10E.

Told them this was not my phone they merely replied it was and they would not answer anymore e mails. Absolutely disgusting company from start to finish.

If only it was possible to give them minus rating! DO NOT USE these people! Part of Tech Universe. Same director. My son sent them his MacBook, excellent little machine and they agreed £650, took his bank details and told him the transfer was ready but waiting for MacBook to be checked. They used UPS for us to post out to them, and wouldn’t confirm if it had been received. We kept emailing them over a week and then someone replied saying they didn’t get it. We contacted UPS who confirmed it was delivered and gave details of someone at reception signing for it - UPS said they’d be happy to investigate on our behalf, but then we got an email from phones 4 cash saying they got it and needed my sons Apple ID before they could carry out checks! We told them deal was off and wanted MacBook back and after weeks of ignoring our emails they agreed to post it back if we paid £20! When I threatened legal action they said go ahead! I was so afraid we’d lose the MacBook and £20 on top. My son paid the money and we did get it back but it was a horrible experience, they are absolute scammers! Wish my son had seen the awful reviews first. Can’t believe they are allowed to carry on after all the reviews I’ve seen on here. I’m going to look into finding out how or who can investigate them. Please save yourselves the angst and do not use them! They are obscene, immoral and total rip off merchants. If I write what I think of them in more colourful language I’m afraid my review won’t get posted!

Do not use this company. Absolute rip off sent my s9 in stated poor condition as scratches but works perfect. They offered £107. Sent in recored delivery they said doesnt match description water damaged offered £27 or they would charge me £20 to get in back. Total rip off!!!!

I am writing a review for you to avoid these thieves and scam artists. They have held onto my phone and iPad since March and not returned it. I have reported my phone stolen to the police and they lied and said they sent it back. Last weekend they confirmed they still had my phone and refuse to send it unless I send them another 20 gbp. I have now got lawyers involved as they are liars, scam artist, con artists and thieves of the worst kind. Avoid them at all costs,

Sent a brand new phone still had all the films on it got a price online and obviously they say and I quote (professionally) reviewed the phone and it didn’t meet the criteria and only wanted to give £30 avoid avoid avoid

on 24th may my husband sent an imac to cashforphones , then we got message saying it was in poor condition etc and made an offer £400 below what was offered, we replied told them no way, there reply was if we wanted the imac back we would have to pay £20 courier fee which was understandable as we did not pay for the courier to go to them, got bank details sent £20 then we waited and waited sent emails no response, told them if it was not sent back i would contact police, still no reply, then my daughter went to manchester to collect it armed with proof of purchase serial number etc the man in the shop was so amazed she had come to collect it back, he would have to call his boss which he did, who then said there was a technical problem as to why he had not replied to any emails!!!! what will you accept for the imac he asked her she told him excately what was offered plus the £20 courier fee, you either pay up or i want the imac back, took 35/40 mins in total but he payed up so much for the poor condition etc they are part of Tech Mania also do not touch them ever, as just con merchants

Bunch of thieves, give you a sell amount then when they get your item they make some excuse saying it broken and offer you a few quid or you have to pay them £20 to get you item back.. My ps4 was perfect but they made some crap up about white shine from the display, bunch of robbing bastar'ds...avoid like the plague

DO not use this company, sent them a perfectly working phone with perfect screen - then said it was faulty as damaged screen - untrue - offered a dismal low valuation and said had to pay £20 to get phone back. Total scam DO NOT USE

Warning!!! Do not ever use cash your phone. They are so poor with their communication, the length of time in their responses and they NEVER paid me despite receiving my items and confirming this. They are completely unprofessional and a fraudulent company. Think twice before sending your items to them.

Totally disgusting human beings

You break the phones on purpose so you don't have to pay out. I have used this service before, perfect condition but didn't need the phones anymore because I upgraded. Friends have also used the service and said the same thing happened to them. " broken in transit". You are LIARS and FRAUDS. Seen many a review about " Broken in transit". If this is the case, how about take better care with peoples property. You re cheap liars out to make a buck. you don't deserve a single star. Scumbag company run by see you next Tuesdays.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I sent our 2 phones off to this company. We are both in our 60s so do not use our phones that much and knew that they were both in perfect condition. Like others on this site we were quoted a figure and then amazingly they reduced it buy almost 50% saying that things were wrong with the phones. I asked for a second opinion and they raised the amount by £7. I would have rather had the phones back but they wanted to charge me £20 to post them back to me. Avoid at all cost if you can.

This company is a total scam, at no point do they have any intention on giving you the first offer the quote you, they are literally luring you in under false hope so they can make up some ridiculous excuse that your phone doesn't meet the correct condition criteria and then they massively drop the price the originally offered you or you have to pay to get your own device.

I would seriously not give them the time of day. Lesson learned here is to read the reviews first before sending off your valuables.

Do not trust this company to pay you what they say they will. Once they have your item, they make sure they find fault with it and offer you a lower price, stating said faults. If you are not happy with the much lower offer they make you, you can request your item back AT A COST TO YOU OF £20!!!!!!!!! Beware, they cannot be trusted. Go somewhere else please.

Weeks emailed them twice the told me first time they not had the phone second time they said the I will take into 20 days to receive but posted 1st class on 3rd time I emailed them they got it and just checked it and say it's b condition as it needs a battery lies as it had 89 percent on it with this
They reduced the price by £30 or send it back to me costing nearly £7 so let them have it so if you want to sell any phone to them think firstas they will RIP you off beware as I have

AVOID using sell phone 4 cash like the PLAGUE there not registered at the address they stated on there website and the address on the address label they send to you to send the phone to!!! I unfortunately sent them my phone on 7 december they confirmed they recieved it on december 18 stating it was locked on google so I unlocked it and since then they not answered any of my emails so I have got action fraud involved and have had my phone BLACKLISTED by ee as I don't hold any hope of seeing any money for my phone or seeing my phone ever again so GOOD LUCK in selling it!!!.
