Don't touch with a bargepole!

Please, please, please read the awfull reviews of this company and save yourself loads of stress. They are clearly taking people's money without the ability to honour their side of the bargain!

It took me over 6 months to get my money back from my bank, hundreds of unanswered calls and a quick Internet search will justify why you should certainly stay well clear.

How this rogue sleeps at night is beyond belief! If this review saves just one more person facing the experience I and many others have undergone then it's worth the effort.

Need better communication skills!

I ordered a shower from JA Bathrooms and then read the reviews, I have to say I panicked! The first week was worrying as delivery was delayed several times and communication was not good, but after I sent an email things picked up. Shower was delivered the next day and although one piece was faulty my emails were answered promptly and a replacement delivered within a couple of days. Not the smoothest of transactions (mainly due to my over worrying) but a good price and all was sorted in just over two weeks, nowhere near as bad as other people have reported.

Avoid at all costs

Made the mistake of buying a shower tray from them.

Was needed urgently, was promised delivery next week. Arrived 2 months later.

In the meantime countless emails, messages left and not replied to, delivery dates given but not adhered to, on one historic date pre and after sales sent 2 conflicting delivery dates - of course it did not arrive on either date.

What you might save money wise originally you will lose on the project delays, having to get people back on site.

We were lucky in that we ordered only one item, if you bought several things from them it could take you months to get the entire order.

They are either completely disorganised or completely dishonest. Their manager to whom everything is referred to for action, never rings back, hides behind the telephonist.

They caused us a huge amount of stress, and delayed our project so much that it delayed our house move as well.

Total nightmare avoid!!

Ja Bathrooms were a total nightmare, we ordered a bath over the phone where we were told it would arrive the week after we ordered. in the mean time my old bathroom was ripped out . A week later the bath did not arrive, after calling the shop almost 10 times on average each day we finally got through to someone who promised us the bath would arrive the following Saturday. We stayed in all day and surprise surprise it never came and yet again no one answered the phone. We called each day until they picked the phone up again and again excuse after excuse. in the end i went down to the shop with the intention of collecting myself. this time they claimed they had not access to the stock room. In the end 5 weeks after it was due it finally arrived this was after threatening them with legal action. Shocking company which dealing with was like pulling teeth, avoid at all costs

Total nightmare

My jacuzzi was due to arrive according to contract, to meet my builder's schedule and in good time for pre-December finish. After incalculable attempts to contact by phone and email, partial advice and action by credit card company before finally resorting to legal advice the I cancelled the order in January!. Incredible frustration, expense and inconvenience and i now have to reschedule completion of works with extra expense. Nightmare company who lie constantly without any consideration of customer needs. Shouldn't be in business at all. Should have a black hole rating.

Awful

I used them and had to use the credit card company to get my money back, they weren't interested in customer service. Calls not returned, promises mad and not kept. Buy from them at your peril.
