They show a picture of a paslode battery but it's not. Got a Refund eventually.
Real scammers. Do not buy from Kingbatt.com
I bought a non working item from Kingbatt.com website, and can not get a response regarding refunding the non working item. The number of course is fraud, it belongs to a pizza parlor of which the owner mentioned there has been multiple people calling wanting to speak with owner of Kingbatt.com. The address on the website is for sale on Trulia -it looks run down. The PayPale name is WANG SU BIN but on the package that was sent to me, it's David SMYERS of which is probably an alias as well. I should have read reviews before I bought something off this fake site. I've never in my life had to deal with something like this. I will voice and let others know to save their time from this fake business. Be aware!! Do NOT buy from Kingbatt.com !!
Beware, will take your money and not refund when goods are out of stock
Ordered a Makita 1834 18v 2.6v Ni Mh Battery on October 30th 2013 from the KingBattery website and paid through Paypal. We received no order confirmation other than the standard Paypal receipt. After a couple of days we e-mailed them using their "info" e-mail address and received a response from "Paul" advising us that this was out of stock and to wait a few days whilst the try and get new stock in. We heard nothing else from them and chased again on the 11th of November and was advised that they would "confirm it with their factory and get back to us soon", which they did not. We chased again on the 15th of November and was advised that it would be available on the 19th of November. On the 19th of November they actually contacted us to say it was still out of stock and asking us if we would like a refund to which we responded saying yes. We then received no further contact from them and even though we have chased for answers have not received any response or refund for the battery that we ordered.
We have opened up a Paypal dispute, but because this is now over 45 days old, they will not cover this fraud.
Please be aware and order from them at your own risk.
Rubbish company, no care for customer service
Ordered a battery in February 2013, and it has still not arrived. Contacted KingBattery.co.uk on many, many occasions asking for status update. They stopped replying to my emails at the end of last year. Frustrating, and annoying they have taken my money - not cheap either the battery. Can't get refund from PayPal as too much time elapsed. They have also refused to send me a replacement, despite knowing that the goods were never delviered. KingBattery.co.uk don't seem to care. Terrible service and customer care. Avoid this company at all costs. Not based in the UK.
Nice and fast service
I was very worried about my order from this company, as I hadn't seen the very bad reviews of the company before I sent my order. But, surprise, my batteries turned up after a month, very nice quality at low prices.
I guess this is the core problem with Trustpilot; you only see the bad reviews because the satisfied customer do not want to write a positive review.

No goods and no refund
Ordered laptop charger on 23 Sept, never received, at first they offered to send another, that was not received either, they offered to send again but as it was 2 months late i asked for refund, now they are ignoring my emails! Bunch of con merchants out in the far east somewhere.
Not a ".CO.UK" company but communcations very good
After reading some of the other reviews, I am also surprised that this can happen but my own experience has been positive.
The delivery was poor (a month late) but communications with the company were very good via email with my concerns delt with quickly. The Toshiba laptop battery I puchased is working well after I tested it by discharging/recharging it and checking for signs of overheating. I know it was made in China but isn't that the case with practically everything these days??
Product not as shown or described and took over a month to arrive!
I ordered a spare FujiFilm camera battery. The description and image for the product are for a genuine FujiFilm battery. I was charged immediately. What eventually arrived, after five weeks, was definitely not a FujiFilm battery. It does not have any indication of its manufacturer or indeed of its country of origin. It may well work but I would not put a battery of completley unknown origin into such an expensive piece of equipment.
The only up side is that I paid through PayPal and have recieved a full refund.
Not a UK company and dodgey products
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! Didn't think much of it, a co.uk website, the description and photos were of NIkon products. It wasn't until I received my new battery that I realised this company is based in China and the products are far from genuine. Contacted them but all I got was it's my fault. Contacted paypal, who have refunded my money. If you have any issues with these guys and you've paid using Paypal please get in touch with them. I was told that if they get enough disputes for a company they will close their account and not deal with them.
Avoid buying from this company!!!!
I wish I had read these reviews before using King Battery!
It doesn't surprise me that I find many people on this site complaining about this company. They have also ignored my repeated attempts at contacting them.
I bought a laptop battery from them back in Oct 2012 assuming they were UK based due to their address and it wasn't until I needed to contact them that I discovered they were in China & had no point of contact in UK or Europe.
As of today (June 4th 2013) I only have a long succession of unanswered emails from King Battery.
The battery did not work even though the website advertised that it would work on my specific model of laptop. When I contacted them they told me to send the battery back and they would refund me my money.
Since I have sent the battery back (after the 45 days notice period for PayPal disputes!) I have not heard from them, and after chasing them for 6 months I fear that my money is gone.
Being in China makes it impossible to follow up anything with them - AND VERY EASY FOR THEM TO RIP YOU OFF!
I would certainly recommend avoiding any dealings with King Battery!
If I could give nil stars I would......I think it's a scam site!

Offshore based website selling dangerous goods!
I needed a replacement ac adaptor for my Dell Dimension D830. I checked Dell's site and bought the genuine product for around £48. I then scoured the web for alternative offers and found KingBattery advertising themselves as an authorised Dell partner, displaying the ac adaptor in authentic Dell packaging and selling for £21.50. I bought this also with a view to contacting Trading Standards. This I did and was informed because KingBattery is based offshore and the goods are shipped from abroad they have no powers to prevent counterfeit goods entering the UK. Take note these goods are dangerous and liable to overheat in a very short space of time, the outer case starts to melt filling the room with acrid smoke and is clearly a potentially lethal fire hazard. Surely to goodness there must be a way to prevent this activity?

Ordered and received a battery for my Nikon Camera, order took three weeks and on receipt found that the battery was a cheap imitation, the photo on their website shows genuine Nikon battery, the description refers only to Nikon battery but the label on the battery I received states "for Nikon". I bought the battery form Kingbattery on the understanding that the label on the site matched my Nikon battery label, it does not.
The company would be reported to Trading Standards if it was a UK company.

Be aware that the company is Hongkong based - price doubled due to tax and fees
I ordered a battery for Denmark through Kingbattery believing the company was located in the UK. When I had placed the order it appears that they were based in Hongkong. When arriving to Denmark the price doubled from around 30 GBP to 60 GBP due to the Danish tax and handling fee for items outside EU. I denied to receive the battery under those circumstances and tried to settle it through a dispute at Paypal. The company answered my request politely, but would not cover the extra expenses. Paypal settled the dispute and returned the money to me. I highly recommed you to use the procedure if you experience the same.

Do not use this company !!!
i bought a battery from this company for my Toshiba laptop because they said it was a genuine Toshiba replacement, however when i finally received the battery nearly 2 weeks later after discovering they are in Hong Kong and not the UK as i was led to believe from the co.uk web ending, the battery is a cheap, imitation that doesnt even work and doesnt even fit my laptop properly, it very nearly caused it damage while i was trying to remove it, i have since had murders getting a response from them and have filed a complaint with paypal as they seem to be endorsing this company by letting them use the paypal service, giving buyers a false sense of security as you think paypal transactions are somehow safe, anyway DO NOT use kingbattery or you will lose your money !

Genuine HP battery at clone price, but from Hong Kong not UK.
I have just bought a replacement battery for my HP Envy 15 from KingBattery. After a few days after I ordered I hadn't received an order confirmation, though my payment via PayPal had gone through (it is possible my partner had deleted it, however). I then read the website 'About Us' section, which seems to disclaim that they sell original batteries and only sell clones. I was worried and read up these reviews, which worried me more. I tried to cancel the order but it had already been dispatched so I decided to wait and see.what came. Form PayPal I discovered that KingBattery is in Hong Kong, so I was even more worried. Happy ending, however, because the battery arrived today and IS a genuine HP one and seems fine. I have advised KingBattery to be more clear and honest on their site.

Avoid at all costs
My battery would not charge after 1 week and is absolutely useless. As others have stated here this is not a UK based business as you would believe on first impressions from the .co.uk web name. They are based in China so any postal return communications are expensive and you have no UK protected customer rights. Any subsequent problems can only be resolved by returning the battery, at your expense, and to wait for a replacement that will either not arrive or probably fail too !!!!
If this was a legitimate overseas business they would offer to pay return postage on their faulty goods and, more to the point, not have recieved so many damning reviews.
************Avoid at all costs **************
Wish I had read the reviews on this site before I purchased!!
My lap top battery arrived and would not charge, tried to communicate with King Battery but they did not reply to my emails, so I put the purchase into dispute with PayPal. After a long drawn out period and no communication again from King Battery, I was asked to return the battery to China at my cost!! I thought I would receive a refund for the battery, but Royal Mail returned the battery as prohibited for export and as the battery could not be returned PayPal rejected the caim. I feel well and truly conned, don't buy from these people!!!
Beware - NOT based in UK, won't pay for return postage
I ordered a battery for my Asus 1008 laptop, cost £41.
It would not charge so I emailed them and asked what I should do.
They said to post it back to them in CHINA. Although the website is Kingbattery.CO.UK and there is NO reference whatsoever to the company's location, The cost for trackable post is over £50. so I asked if they would refund the postage - unsurprisingly they didn't reply.
Also beware - paypal will not help you out, they just said it was my problem.
So I am £41 out of pocket for a battery that doesn't work.

Non-arrival of order
Like many others I thought this .co.uk company was local. Ordered battery did not arrive. Paid by paypal but spent too much time emailing them before claiming on paypal (48 days) and then found out you can only claim up to 45 days after the transaction. Looks like its money down the drain.
Tip: Use a credit card whenever possible, if I had selected my credit card through Paypal I would be able to claim through them.
Not a good buying experience at all
I ordered and paid for the battery only for King Battery to make a demand a week later for an extra payment because their pricing was incorrect. I asked for a refund which they didn't process and so started a Paypal claim against them. Not fraud but definately dishonest.
