Avoid At All cost - DO NOT USE Fraud

Bought a moped in November which eventually turned up 3 weeks later with no paperwork. Over 20 calls and emails to the most rude and ignorrant man I've ever spoke to and no paperwork ever sent. Tired to register with DVLA who could not as no NOVA had been supplied by Learner Legal. After a lengthy battle with Visa I managed to get a refund. DO NOT BUY from this website it will only lead to a very bad experience.

CRAP Company (LEARNER LEGAL)

I ordered a new scooter in November and rang him over and over and he told me lies over and over.
Things like my wife left me,
She took all the paper work for me to get the bikes.
They are holding the bikes till i can sort out the paper work.

On the 3rd week my scooter turned up and i sent all the paper work off and then it came back as he had not posted it with HMRC to say he had the bikes so there was no NOVA ref number. we are now in February and it is still not done i have a scooter i can not ride or register till he sorts it with HMRC.

I have spoken to HMRC and this is an on going thing and not just with me there are lots of people like me that got there bikes from same place and the team are trying to sort out the NOVA number we all need.

So stop away from learner legal

Liars

I ordered and paid for a bike on 28 November and paid extra for a fast delivery. I called them later that day to find out when to expect it but the guy said they didn't even have the bike in stock and they were waiting for more. He said I could wait and he'd deduct the fast delivery fee, or have a full refund. I opted for the latter. He asked me to write to an email address that wasn't the company's and said he would process the refund. Nothing. I chased by email on 3 December. Nothing. I called again on 16 December and he gave me the same nonsense, adding that some employee or other had stolen money from them and cocked up their computers. A likely story, and even if it's true, it's not my problem. He asked me to send my bank details to that same email address. I said I would not send bank details in an email at which point he hung up. He had my bank details, of course, and was clearly just trying to mess me around. Again, no refund. I then put the matter in the hands of my bank as I paid by card. However, I then received an email on 4 January confirming the order and saying the bike would be delivered! I called the guy (who, I might add, is always aggressive and dismissive) and he again asked me to send my bank details by email. I told him that was not safe so he said he'd send a cheque by recorded delivery that day. I sent an email with my address and name as requested. Three days later, no refund. This is a tinpot outfit whose only point of contact is thoroughly unpleasant and who has lied to me on three different occasions. I suspect legal action will be an expensive black hole. Hopefully my bank will sort it out for me. AVOID!

Beware!

The only reason i give learnerlegal.com 1 star is because there is no option to give them 0.

I bought a bike from them last year. The bike was broken, wouldn't even start. I called learnerlegal and spoke to a very rude woman who refused to fix the bike.

I finished up having to take them to court to get my money back!

The website advertises that they do checks on the bikes before they are sold. This is not true as i had an independent mechanic assess the bike, and he told me these checks had obviously not been carried out.

They are not a reputable company and if you buy from them, its at your own risk.

Beware!

Waste of time

Bought the bike back in march, was extremely shifty person really didnt care about his job or selling anything, but after all that was over bike ran fine a few things broke on the way home from taking the bike and got replaced by them "bare minimum" just enough to work and now the supposedly the warranty gets me nothing apart from rude service even though it lasts a year, complete waste of time just want your money and wont help you at all afterwards, just a huge waste of time, better to just save up and get it from a company that cares

UPDATE Received E-Mail Tuesday Morning advising me that They were closed throughout the bank holiday weekend, and had sent out new part. Received the part this morning Very fast postage, But I would have thought that Under Warranty the part should have been fitted though no arrangements to do so have been offered I suppose I will be doing that job myself.

Very swift and efficient after care.

My daughter's 4 month old 50cc Scooter from Learner Legal developed an ignition fault. These things do happen, there's never any guarantees with mechanical things. It is Learner Legal's swift and efficient aftercare service which I wish to praise.
Within 1 hour of me sending a report from the mechanic of what parts needed replacing. I received an e-mail from Learner Legal advising that they'd been shipped, with a parcel tracking number. Within 24 hours I had received the parts and they'd been passed to the mechanic: who fitted them yesterday. My daughter is now back on the road. Thanks and very well done Learner Legal. Excellent service.

Happy Customer

Was on the look out for cheap transport as got a new job and no buses that early in the morning so decide to go for a scooter bought it for just £499 it was delivered all ok.
To be honest I concern about what I was going to get for £500 it was great.
Had the scooter for seven months now just one service need guy at shop said it was good for the money and nothing to worry about.
It seems to do more miles to gallon now than when I first got it.

DO NOT BUY YOUR BIKE FROM LEARNER LEGAL

I bought my brand new bike from Learner Legal 5 weeks ago, very polite on the phone before i bought my bike, i went on a monday to buy my bike and was told i would be delivered on Tue, about 9pm on monday night it was delivered, i couldnt really see it in the dark, and put it in the garage, when i went to look at it on Tuesday the paint fron the bottom panel had pealed off, leaving the white fibreglass exposed, it has taken me 20 phonecalls, they keep promising me they will put on a new panel, and told me they would be there on Tuesday with a man to fix the panel, he did not arrive, i got a text it would be done on thursday, i waited all day nobody turned up, the lady i spoke to just hangs up on me, and will not answer the phone when i call, she is so rude as soon as i say my name she hangs up, when i phone back she does not answer, Learner Legal has only one phone number, no head office, you cannot speak to anybody but her, and she is so rude, i have never got angry or sworn at her, but she does not want to help, i paid £725 for my bike, and it had only done 1 mile when all the paint peeled, i have been told to sort it out myself, if it breaks down they would not want to know, the warrenty means nothing to them, she just hangs up on me, buy your bike from anyone, but not from learner Legal, they take your money and if you have a problem they dont want to help, i have never experianced such bad customer service, i am now left with a bike with all the paint peeled off a big crack in the panel, and have to fix it myself, ( if i could turn back time)the woman should getr some customer service lessons , and for rudeness NIL POINTS this is now 4 weeks later, my bike is still not working i have pushed it more than ridden it, Learner Legal now has had my bike for over a week they will not speak to me on the phone they hang up on me every time i ring, they have my money and my bike, i have to go to court to sort this out, buy anywhere but not in Portsmouth NEW UPDATE
Learner Legal pickup up my bike from garage where it was being fixed, they gave me £600 for it, and i paid £725, i also registered it £50.00 and they will not return mt Tax disc which i paid for, i have written to the director of the company but hace had no reply, please do not buy from them. I have now waited 9 weeks for a reply to my registered letter asking for my tax disc back, the letter was returned to me from the post office, they will not speak to me or pay me back my money even though they have the bike, they owe me £200 but will not speak or phone or email me, i have sent letters and phoned but to no avail, i am now going to Dont get done get Dom
