Save your time and money

Save your time and money, parcels2go have lost 3 of my parcels 2 of which were bound for New Zealand. I have had to claim against them at the small claims court and now I have been refunded. Over 10 weeks of stress, use another company.

Parcel2go "Lost" my parcel.

Parcel2go "Lost" my parcel.
They have failed to provide consideration of the contract for two main reasons. They lost our parcels and have therefore failed to execute the contracts with reasonable care and skill. As the person who has paid for the service, you are entitled to expect that they, as the service provider, are competent to undertake the work and that they will undertake to provide the service in a professional manner. Losing our parcels very soon after they take receipt of them, meets neither of those two tests. The fact that they have failed to provide consideration of the contract with reasonable care nullifies their implied and specific terms of the contract and is also in breach of their statutory obligations under section 49 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They are in breach of contract. They have still not delivered our parcels and they have not therefore to date provided consideration of the contract. Section 52 (3) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires them to provide the service under the contract within a reasonable period of time. A reasonable period of time under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, is a question of fact. P2G specifically state those facts in their booking details as delivery being 2 to 3 working days, and this claim forms part of the contractual agreement. The fact that they have lost our parcels means there is now no prospect of P2G delivering them and they are no longer in a position to provide consideration under the contract. It can no longer be said that they are ‘reasonably able to fulfil their obligations’ under the contract and consequently they are also in breach of contract.

P2G terms and conditions 6 (7) seek to exclude them from liability to refund the payment for losses under the contract unless (we) take out Parcel Protection Payment. However, under section 57 (1) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, their term 6 (7) is not binding on the consumer (us), where the service provider (PsG) has failed to provide consideration of the service for either of the above stated reasons. For these reasons section 6 (7) of their Terms and Conditions do not legally apply to our contracts and they are liable under section 54 (7) (b) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to provide payment up to the value of our losses in respect of recovering our losses and restoring our situation to its original position, due to their failure to provide the service. Alternatively, they should apply a price reduction to the contract under section 56 (1) and (2) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 because the contract remains unfulfilled due to their breaches of the contract set out above. Given they have not exercised their side of the bargain with reasonable care and skill within a reasonable period of time due to said circumstances which amount to breaches of the contract. We (us) need to state the value of the reduction we are seeking in any claim. In the circumstances this should be considered reasonable. Another option would be for all of us on here with a valid grievance could join together in a joint action and institute proceedings against them in a large joint action.

Lost parcel

Send few parcels beginning of December to Spain. Parcels never left UK due to the Brexit etc. Been reditected back to us but its been 2 monts and still waiting for it
We have been told and showed the tracking numbers by DPD that P2G have got our parcels in the depo on 22nd of December its February 23rd and still no parcels back
I have send hundreds of emails to p2g with all the info provided from DPD, all tracking numbers and locations of parcels
All I asked back is to ring the ladt location which is Depo and look for the parcels
Online chat its a scam and the staff can not be bothered less to help you.
I have opened a claim with them that P2G closed and just said the parcel is lost sorry
But not even looked for it
It is discusting the way they deal with customer.
I have reported it to Resolver but nothing
Any ideas where to go
How to get the parcel back
Any contact details

Parcel was collected from my home…

Parcel was collected from my home address by hermes.. Hermes never booked it in, and now apparently the parcel has gone missing...

Ive looked into this and i'm not the only one feeling robbed!!

I am, one, very, unhappy customer!!

And i say customer, as i paid for a service, plus insurance. Just to be told my parcel was never collected and thats it!!

I think i'm going to have to explain this nice and simple to you, after spending hours on the phone with no explanation..

That you took my money, and paid your dodgy mates at hermes to come and pick it up..

They probably said yeah that fine, here is a number for the job, we'll be round to collect on a certain day at a certain time...

Which they did, and now, me, your customer, is complaining that the parcel has gone missing??

How is it, that you, that i paid, havent looked into this. Why have you not questioned why the parcel wasnt delivered to the depot!?

When one of the hermes drivers collected it!?

Why!?

Because someone at Hermes is obviously stealing parcels!?

Its not just me, its happening all 9ver the country.

You ask us to write the weight, a value and description on the box!???

I advise that you DO NOT do this, as its probably how they choose which parcels to steal...

I'm £500 down, and it looks like i will have to remake the bespoke steel parts, the parcel contained..

Because Hermes in Partnership with Parcels2go, have a license to steal parcels... and the way they get away with it.. is by fobbing you off with a £39 refund...

Not bad when your drivers are getting expensive gifts, courtesy of the back of thier vans.. juat forget to book it in and the parcel is yours, no questions asked?

I want to know where my parcel is?

My advise to any one reading this and the many other reviews, stay well well clear of Parcels2go and Hermes..

They cannot be trusted.. and need to investigated by trading standards!!

Absolute disgrace of a company.

Taxes & other additional charges UK-SPAIN (Brexit)

A week ago I sent a parcel to Spain, my sister's birthday gift, as I am not allow to travel.
Bought the label and the protection, etc. All normal so far, but I have just received a message from Spanish customs saying I have to pay an amount that is almost as much as I paid on parcel2go on taxes.
I looked it up on their website and there is information available and they do say they don't pay for these charges BUT they didn't warn, inform or even mention I could incur in any further charges on arrival of my package to Spain when they obviously know.
Frustrating that a company plays with people's lack of knowledge regarding changes that have happened only very recently.

Parcel2go is a big organisation who doesn’t care A damn about the customer.
In conjunction with Hermes It is highly likely that they will lose you’re parcel and they will then make it impossible to Talk to them or even get a reply in any shape or form.
As they are so big now they have no care whatsoever and to lose a percentage of the deliveries is acceptable to them.
Incidentally, I now gather that Hermes will sell lost parcels off every so often in batches, you may have a better chance of getting you’re delivery by buying these!!
And yes they have lost another parcel for me .

I would give this company a zero rating…

I would give this company a zero rating they are a middle man that get a fee from all the courier companies. They allow you to place an order input all your details, take a payment then your parcel can go one of many ways, delivered on time hardly ever, not delivered on time or at all a lot recently or the parcel returns to you after 3 weeks and damaged. You them pursue a claim where they ask you for endless information and pictures of said item and try to grind you down with endless more requests for information or more pictures in my case for an item insured and paid for at £39. I have had to bin the electric blanket as the item was damp and the box so badly damaged on return it had be disposed of. Anyone searching for reviews can clearly see how P2go treat its loyal customers, there CEO is so far out of touch he cannot be bothered to reply to complaint emails sent to him. I am not at all bothered about my postage or £39 now. I am now focusing on ensuring you make an informed decision about using this company. Avoid at all costs if your item is essential or valued.

poor claim experience.

Just a follow up to my earlier review. I have just received a derisory offer that in no way reflects my loss, but to make matters worse is that the offer came with no breakdown. In there eyes it appears that it is my fault that i used them and shame on me for claiming as is my right. I am sure they want me to even pay for the postage to deliver something that is now totally useless. The carriers were Fedex and i paid just under £100 for them to deliver something that appears to have been left in the rain, shame on you Parcels2go.

Dreadful service.

My parcel arrived in Dubai completely sodden with the contents destroyed, i am trying to make a claim but with very little headway. I requested a call back as trying to claim by chat is nearly impossible, they told me it would be within 2 days but guess what, i am still waiting. I have contacted the BBCs Watchdog service who appear very interested which is more than i can say for Parcels 2Go

Please Please stay away!!

Please Please stay away!!! They lost my parcel (they used the Hermes network) took weeks to get a response : to make a claim. I have sent a watch which I insured for £100. The claim outcome was: refused as watches are insurable for loss and said they will refund the postage costs. I have no watch and the bay member I sold it to left negative review , got his ebay money back and my Paypal balance is negative now. No help whatsoever from Parcel2go very hard to reach only by chat and you wait for hours and all this for nothing. Please avoid!!!!!

only given 1 star as I couldn't give a zero score. Without boring everyone, we paid for premium service and insurance on an item we had to return to a company. It was returned badly damaged. Tried to claim, had to send a mountain of information, then told sorry, it's not covered. No right to appeal, or speak to anyone. Never ever trust this company -
