Payzoola are a bunch of theiving *%^$£

Wish this site was more viewable before i posted my fone off to this disease of a company Payzoola

I too got a letter from ajs tech and their wording on the letter was so speradic, it made no sense as payzoola was not clearly stated on the letter so i just threw it in the bin. The only thing i have as evidence of sending my iphone 4s to them is the stub from royal mail and a couple of email saying they recieved the phone and that the tech department are testing my phone.
So i have no hope of gaining any money back now. Cant believe i used payzoola for the sake of an extra £10, which by the sounds of what previous people are saying i wouldnt of even recieved.

Lessoned learnt and wont be doing it again in a hurry.

CON ARTISTS :(

The same has happened to me. i sent them my Iphone 4 in February as they offered the best price through a comparison website but then when I sent it recorded delivery they only offered me about half what they quoted me due to "faults" on my phone (which I think werent there!!). After a bit of haggling they increased the offer and I accepted it and started the process of transferring the money to my bank. Then this "burglary" happened and I have not seen a penny of the money and no phone has been sent back to me. Does anyone know what the chances are of actually seeing any money or my phone again??? I will contact the Action Fraud Team kindly recommended by someone on here but im not holding my breath :( how can they get away with this???

Shocking con artists

They where only too keen to reply to emails when I was enquiring about sending them my phone and sending out prepaid postage envelope bit now I have sent it RECORDED DELIVERY so I know they received it over a week ago I cannot get any correspondence out of them no number to call and APPARENTLY they have been burgled!! All sounds to convienient to me and I will be the first to admit that I think I and many others have been mugged off!! Annoyed that I found payzoola on a comparison site as well I thought they where background checked before being listed.

Anyway payzoola you are a sham and I advise anyone to steer clear as it seems others on here are also in agreement with me!! Should have stick wit mazooma like I have in the past!! Lesson learnt " greed does not always succeed!!"

Absolutle con merchants

I sent my phone, they quoted me that £141 which I thought was ok. They have since stated that there warehouse has been broken into and the Met are investigating this. From reading other reviews it is obviously a con, wish I'd read these before hand! Do not use! Hopefully I won't need to take legal action to get my money or my phone back.

Shocking company stay away.

I sent my iPhone 4 32gb in a box and good condition to Payzoola. I had confirmation that they received my phone and their team would test it. Originally I was offered from the web site £150,. After their team checked the phone they came back to me saying that they would offer £120. I wasn't pleased but couldn't be bothered to argue and I had paid nearly £6 to send it recorded delivery. I requested my money to be transferred to my account. It's been over two weeks now and still no money has arrived.

I have sent numerous emails and had no reply so I have now had to begin legal action against the company.

Save your self the headache and disappointment stay well clear of this company they truely areal king.

Igonrant and Untrustworthy

Sent off an i phone 4s 16gb brand new in box was offererd £270 after having the phone a week they came bk with a counter offer of £240 because the outer wrapping had been removed and apple wasnt offering a warranty i therefore accepted the offer that however was 2 weeks ago and after my bank transfer has been approved i am still awaiting oneys owed to me i have had an email bk after i sent 1 asking when funds would be cleared as my bank said there wasnt a payment going through and a week had past saying it would be in that night or tommorrow that was last thursday and still had no reward sent i have since from friday sent numerous emails to which have been unanswered please be aware of recycling your gadgets with these people there is also no telephone number or there live support is never availible which is very frustrating

after my email last night saying that my solicotor had a copy for his records to see the outcome before i make a county court summons i have recieved an emaill at 5.41 saying my funds had been delivered to my bank and then at 5.44 am to say that my funds went to a different account due to an input error but would be in my account and sure enough my funds were there. i just wish this all went through at the first time off asking i would therefore advise even though payzoola is by far the most generous with payments regarding gadgets the problems with recieving your funds is unacceptable i will not use again and i urge others to do the same overall a bad experience that i could of avoided if id only seen the reviews first but at least in my case its a alls well that ends well!!! beware you might not be as lucky!

Not what it promises to be

I sent an iPhone 4 32gb to Payzoola on the basis that they were offering the most money of any mobile phone recycler at the time - £134 (post-iPhone 5 release). This sum was offered on the basis that my phone was in good condition (i.e. minor wear and tear). There were a few minor scratches on the screen as a result of the phone being two years old and on the rear of the phone but I was confident that my phone still fell within this bracket.

I received a notification on my account a few days after posting the phone, which stated that my phone had been assessed and as there were a few scratches on the screen and "the charger doesn't fit as snugly as it should do", Payzoola could only offer me £100. £20 lower even than the "fair condition" price which was originally offered (£120). I imagine Payzoola were expecting me to accept their offer for the sake of convenience, but out of principle I asked for my phone to be returned by special delivery so that I could sell to another recycler. I consider my experience with Payzoola to be a waste of both my time and theirs and I would certainly not recommend them on the basis of my experience. To imply my phone is less than fair condition is frankly ridiculous, and I have no option but to conclude that this is a company tactic to bring customers to them in the first place and then drop the price dramatically when they have the customer on the hook.

I should add that the best part of the service was the return of my phone, which was done immediately as I requested and by special delivery.

My phone will be going off to Mazuma (who are offering £115) instead.
