Absolutely rubbish. On my back when I may have a claim.got through once a month after and was told I would get written confirmation via post. Then can't speak to anyone for 4+months.. then a txt saying I need to make a claim before deadline ends. You ring and you get an American robot voice mail. Try another company..
DO NOT USE GOLDMAN SMITH
DO NOT USE GOLDMAN SMITH. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. AND TAKES MOST OF YOUR MONEY
I paid for them to deal with my PPI had…
I paid for them to deal with my PPI had to hassle them some but the bank was worse than them. Having paid £495 to them I realised they were chasing the wrong policy but it was the bank again that were obstructive. Eventually I got £144 from the bank for interest paid, not for the policy we wanted but I had lost interest by this time as it was a stressful experience to say the least. When the bank finally found the policy I identified from the start Claimline had contacted me to pay the £37.98 but then without reimbursing me my £495 they shut their business down. Mr Jamie Bradley should be hanging his head in shame for stealing from his customers having assured me that I would not be out of pocket.

i have given them one star but should have been no stars this company are so terrible i put in a claim for PPI in march and still haven't had any joy when i keep calling the agent tells me that it still in the hands off the bank but before this they kept telling they had lost my paperwork and then its been submitted to the bank
I just got off the phone with a caller…
I just got off the phone with a caller from this organisation informing me that I had been miss sold PPI to the sum of £3750, minus 10% commission - at first they 'seemed' to be well informed on my banking history and information. After some probing questions i wasn't convinced, then the guy explained the process of getting paid the PPI and found to be VERY shady, this is the process:
I go to a post office and buy a 'One4all Gift Card' to the value of £375 (10% commission) contact the PPI company, they will dispatch documents for me to sign, I compete and return in the post (with the £375 on a 0ne4All card, i don't know that guy wasn't very clear, but probably).
They then send a check to me for £3750 ...
It's a scam.
getting money back
I was fobbed off by this company. With the help of local trading standards department - Gateshead MBC I got my £495 back + interest yesterday as I paid by credit card and credit card provider had to pay up.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Goldman Smith - avoid at all costs, the processes are designed to confuse and agressive customer service is absolutely disgusting bordering on stalking. The terms and conditions are ambiguous and they will find a way to use to their advantage. They do not acknowledge any intent to cancel an agreement even if it was within the cooling off period and do not seem to know what NO means or consider the views of customers. The whole experience has been awfully stressful, the effort and cost of terminating an agreement is totally unnacceptable in my opinion. I hope this review puts off anyone considering using them for PPI claims it has been a harsh lesson learnt and want my experience to warn others.

tried to get back in contact as after 2 years they said would get back £495 in march 18 now know that they have gone into receivership no email address to let liquidators know i'm owed money very annoyed

Awful experience conned me out of my initial deposit. I applied January 2016! I emailed and telephoned throughout the 2 years and now I have just read it has gone into liquidation. They were unhelpful, constantly fobbing me off and inefficient but ultimately it now seems they were a scam. I wonder if there is a way to get redress and my money back?
Scum of the earth .
Scum of the earth .Conned me out of £300. Asked for my money back after being fobbed off for 2 years .Told to contact them April 2018 for full refund .Guess what went into administration March 2018. TOTAL SCUM
Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs - just as every other post here advises. Seven months after scamming an elderly relative out of money I am still waiting for a refund. One ridiculous excuse after another. They are claiming that they need to contact a bank I know my relative cannot have had a dealing with. These people are criminals.
Waste of time
Waste of time. Waited 9 months to hear nothing, so approached them again to be told they communicate with their customers every two weeks. (mmm, clearly not true).
"Oh perhaps we had issues with the phone or something", having just confirmed my number.
The guy then says, "Natwest have asked you to prove if you had PPI or not".
Erm? If I knew that, why would I ask a PPI company to find out.
Complete waste of time.
I feel if you have no claim, you're pushed to one side, but if they can make some money off of you, they'll kiss your butt.
Steer clear. Waste of time.
Your Money Rights
Your Money Rights
Despicable company. Conned me into handing over £495. Yes the legal company appointed did research and found no moneys due. They were not the company that deducted CC.
Luckily my CC provider refunded but YMR are still disputing refund.
Feel an absolute idiot having engaged with YMR who stated I may be owed £8K.

DIRECTPPi.co.uk
I used DIRECTPPi.co.uk
Absolute waste of time
They eventually asked me after nearly three months for Photo identification, bank account statements, utility bills, which seemed far and beyond the norm and to top it all never even gave me any clue whether l was entitled to PPi, dreadful company, KEEP WELL CLEAR
Avoid Claimline Direct like a plague.
After being cold called at home, I was assured I was entitled to PPI claim which could be as much as £8000. Claimline Direct told me I would have to pay a deposit of £495 which I did like an idiot to pursue any claim. They told me in the event that I did not have a claim for PPI I would receive a refund for the £495 paid, Why they told me a lie about being owed up to £8000. I find disgusting and misleading, after waiting over 18 months I made countless phone calls and sent letters to which they never replied. I eventually after persistently making more phone calls was told that I was entitled to missold bank charges which amounted to £1100. The bank contacted me to inform me of this, all together in order to claim £1100 bank charges it cost me £755 which I was told by my bank I could have claimed directly from the bank at no charge to me. so I lost £755 I found them dishonest told lies and used threats because I made them wait a few weeks to pay there percentage. Avoid this company at all costs & go direct to your bank to claim any charges owed totally free. Its just a scam & should not be allowed to trade or cold call vulnerable people.
Hi I used a company called FFC
Hi I used a company called FFC. First lot of paperwork that was picked up by courier. Got lost and it contained private papers. If you use this company make sure to read the small print. I was charged VAT on the full amount I received not on the amount they take. Learn by my mistake. Read the small print
I have been the victim of Claimline …
I have been the victim of Claimline Direct, and am also struggling to get my £495 back from these lying cheating disgusting people. May I suggest everyone who has been a victim contact the Ombudsman on 0300 555 0333 and also Action Fraud 0300 123 2040. If everyone reports it maybe we can stop these hideous people from continuing with this scam.
Shocking and dishonest
Shocking and dishonest. Hounded my mother to sign up, took her money over a year ago and will not return it. One load of nonsense after the other. There is no claim to be made but they keep saying they have not heard back from the bank and delaying constantly. The bank state they have responsded. C D are a bunch of lying cheats. Going to the Ombudsman next. Stress my mother could do without. Disgusting operation
