Proto-PIC 

I have had a mixed experience with Proto-PIC over multiple orders. My initial small purchases went smoothly, but a larger order faced significant delays, which were only addressed after persistent communication. Despite these issues, previous experiences showed good customer service, with problems eventually being resolved and even a refund offered in one case. Overall, when things go right, their service is commendable, making them worth considering with some caution.

Placed order with Proto-pic on 28th November have had no goods or communication from them. Phone number does not connect and no response to messages

Really great experience with Proto-Pic. They seem to be the only supplier that sells exactly the components I’m looking for. Also very refreshing to speak to someone on the phone who seems to actually enjoy his job. Can’t express enough how fond I am of these guys

I've recently started learning electronics as an hobby (I'm a software engineer), and I've been ordering things from several places depending on stock.
Very recently discovered Proto-PIC, and I'm absolutely loving the service.
I haven't even bothered with DPD delivery. They are relatively close to me and since they tend to ship it the same day I order, very often I receive it the next day even with Royal Mail.
Packaging is also very good and well protected with a sturdy plastic box which I can reuse for storage, although maybe for some things we could have a more environment friendly package.
Will definitely continue to use Proto-PIC.

Omg! These people were amazing! Tried very hard to find the battery I was looking for. Ordered it from them but turned out it was not the one I needed. I sent them a picture of the unique battery that I was looking for, they did a research and found it for me and sent me the link to order it. They were also very quick in responding.

My first impression was bad. Didn't receive any emails from technical team or even from sales.
Then it turned out they had some issues with the system and when they came back to me all my issues were resolved very quick.
They have shipped missing item and I got my original order refunded. This was a small inexpensive item, but still it is very nice gesture to see they care about the customer very seriously.
At the end I'm happy with the service!

I purchased a case for my Batt:BIT and this company supplied the wrong product. They offered a refund which I have not received after 4 weeks and now they no longer reply to my emails. I would suggest AVOIDING using this company and purchase elsewhere.

I wanted to teach my grandchildren computing and contacted Proto Pic when I got stuck. Spoke to the owner who was doing the help desk and after a very inspirational conversation I have ordered lots of things and really enjoyed what I have bought.

Latest order bought one afternoon arrived next morning - Aberdeen to South Wales!

Ordered on Sunday, had to change delivery address on Monday.

Email was replied to within the hour, address changed successfully an goods received Tuesday morning.

Delivery in less than 24 hours! I ordered from Proto Pic because they were providing the components at the cheapest price. £1 postage and the parts arrived in a nice protective plastic box(reusable) less than 24 hours after placing the order. One of the best online shopping experiences I've had!

I ordered a few parts and didnt noticed one was out of stock. I phoned customer service who told me that they would split my order, send all instock things that day and follow up with the out of stock part when it came in.
All the first lot turned up yesterday, less than 16 hours after placing the order and the out of stock part has just arrived this morning. Each parcel was in a sturdy plastic box (better packing than anything ive seen0 and each parcel cam with a free bag of sweets. Amazing, just amazing

needed my parts for a project the same week. called the extremely helpful staff and they rushed my order out, even though id called after the shipping cut off.

I had an order of Arduino parts, they arrived promptly and everything worked correctly.

I had a small issue with configuration and I phoned the guys in the office who were very helpful and we got the issue sorted very quickly.

I ordered few times (small orders) from proto-pic and everything was fine, but....

We ordered a bunch of stuff for arduino workshops for my company. The order was pretty big (around 1000 pounds). The order was placed 3 months ago (!!!!) and so far only tiny bit of it arrived, and only because we were emailing and calling them on regular basis. This is ridiculous. We're cancelling the order today and getting stuff from ebay. Never using proto-pic again.
