Red Hot Sunglasses  

Ordered a pair of sunglasses in January and the only thing that went smoothly was the payment.

Now we are in the middle of March and I haven’t received my order or gotten any feedback on my requests.

I will not recommend anyone to buy anything from this company.

I bought a pair of glasses but I realised that the delivery date would not work for me. I have contacted them within 17h from my purchase but nobody replied to me, after 5 days they simply write me back that my glasses are already at the optician so there is nothing they can do to cancel my order. This is the worst customer service ever! I will never make a purchase with them ever again and will discourage my friends too.

Ordered a pair of sunglasses from Red Hot Sunglasses prior to a holiday. I was sent the wrong pair in the post, and offered a return and exchange for the correct product, without being offered any compensation.

Very upset as I can’t bring the sunglasses on my summer holiday and stated this in my email, but haven’t been compensated.

Only upside was that I received a fast response, which I appreciate, but an exchange doesn’t make up for the inconvenience of not having sunglasses for my only summer holiday of the year.

Amazon made a mistake and Red Hot Sunglasses eagerly replaced the wrong sized sunglasses originally shipped out by Amazon.

Order 126711. Ordered Oakley frames with prescription lenses after being let down by another site and saw the good reviews for redhotsunglasses but they didn't appear. Not sure if it's a world shortage of Oakley glasses? Anyway, after a short exchange of emails, a refund was obtained so the whole experience only cost me about a 3 week wait. Frustrating though. Would've been a 2 star review (due to lack of glasses) but Alex in customer services dealt with the problem reasonably promptly so it's a three... From me...!

I emailed the company asking if they could send me a few pairs as I wasn't quite sure which pair would suit my face type. RedHot gave me advice on choosing the right pair for my face shape. The sunglasses arrived next day and I tried each of the pairs, picked one and sent the others back free of charge! Great Service!

Very poor company this, DO NOT TRUST their promotions, the "invite a friend" programme is a farse! the idea: you invite a friend they get 10% off their 1st order, once they have purchased you then get a code for 20% off, I followed the T&C's to the letter and yet the promotional codes state "the code is valid but not applicable to the items in your basket" will not work on any pair of sunglasses that I added to the basket including different brands difference price brackets the items wasn't in the sale, there are several promotions including ones on their site that "are valid but not applicable"

I have emailed on several occassions, they only reply once you say your going to leave a review or take things further but with a reply of "we have asked for the name of the person you recommended" I have emailed on 4 seperate occassions giving the name but then again no reply. it isn't just the invite a friend promotional code that doesn't work it is all of them, the very 1st email did state they were having issues with promotional codes which is fine but it's now been nearly 3 weeks and still no closer, I genuinely believe it won't get sorted and they are doing it as a ploy to get people to purchase but not living up to their end of the deal once the friend has purchased.

rip off and would not recommend, I gave them enough opportunity to sort it out but just kept getting the same email back of "we need the name of the person you recommended" you already had that otherwise you wouldn't have sent me the code and told me the name of the person I recommended had purchased. just delay tactics and hoping I wouldn't take it further.

very dissapointed with this company

if you wish to just purchase an item without a promotion from them then yes not a problem however I suspect you will find it cheaper elsewhere, my grievence is that they shouldn't advertise a promotion and not hold up to their end of the deal after youv'e done what they asked.

they have now increased the price of the item and amazingly the code works it now makes them more expensive than other sites. now I know why they was delaying

trust them if you want to but hope you don't have any issues as contacting them clearly is very difficult.

I certainly wont be purchasing from them in the future

Nobody has tried calling or speaking to me over the phone, (you don't even have my phone number) and the sunglasses wasn't in the sale section of your website, every pair of glasses was discounted compared to the rrp price but even at that price was more expensive than others it was only the code that would have made them cheaper. As stated the code wouldn't work with any item but now that they've put the price up £34 the 20% off for inviting someone doesn't benefit me as it would have done over the last 3 weeks.

Obviously didn't want to take my money all £160 of it. It's pointless emailing now to rectify it as you would now have to give me about 33% off to get it to what it should have been at and i'm not prepared to waste anymore time emailing you 3 weeks is long enough. I just want every one else to see.

I don't normally leave reviews but I don't like been lied to and it's not a coincidence that the only emails you have replied to are those that don't give the answer you required yet I've replied on 4 occasions giving you the name you required.

I understand discount codes are at your discretion but giving an incentive in order to get the discount code and you to generate an extra sale and then not honouring the discount (until the item goes up in price) is very sneaky in my opinion

I have now purchased from elsewhere at the £160 and will be delivered tomorrow as oppossed to giving this company an extra £84 for the same item

Cant fault this company was really sceptical with the reviews but I tried them. First class service from start to end would not hesitate in using again or recommend

not good. Sunglasses were faulty after one month. Returned them. took them ages to act. Then said refund was not possible as goods bought more than a month ago.

Returned glasses twice as damaged, returned 3 weeks ago for refund and no response, contacting trading standards and credit card as they were sent signed for and have proof they received back but they simply refuse to reply to emails.

Great sunglasses, competitively priced.

I bought 2 pairs (some ralphies and armarni) I am very pleased with both. They came well packaged and on time. No problems.

I was slightly concerned about their sunglasses being counterfeit but after some internet research I felt confident in ordering. There is no reason looking at them to suggest they are not legit.

Will order again once I am in the market for some new ones :)

I returned my sunglasses nearly two weeks ago. Tracking shows Red hot sunglasses received them back.
Three emails later I'm still trying to get my money back. Not looking hopeful...
Terrible customer service. Only one of my emails been responded to. They don't care once they have your money.
