I have been with Sky for broadband for…

I have been with Sky for broadband for 1 year and 4 months and currently pay £33 a month for broadband alone.
I telephoned them on 27/05/26 and stated I had been offered £20 a month by another provider. The lady stated she would check if the bill could be reduced. After waiting around for about five minutes she state that she could reduce the bill to £32 a month. This was actually insulting.
Also I never received the £50 retail vouchers that were promised by Sky after signing up and staying with them for Six months.
There Customer Services should be ashamed of their self.
Sky are good at emailing you bills, but won't try to sort out other issues. Very very poor service, stay away.
Just want to sell you extras and no loyalty on their part to reliable customers.

BE WARNED OF SKY Q BOX PROBLEM

BE WARNED, SKY HAVE AN INTERNAL PROBLEM WITH Q BOX AND SMART TV s
The service received is terrible since getting a Sony Smart TV with loss of picture, SKY technicians have now been out six times and seem unable to resolve, while stating they know of problem with both Sumsang and now Sony. Keep promising compensation for over six problems and so far received nothing after six months of HASSLE
As a long term Sky Customer amazed how they have allowed such a situation to happen

We've been trying to downgrade our…

We've been trying to downgrade our package with Sky since October now. The price just keeps creeping up and the service is very poor. Having managed to get hold of someone back in October, we asked for several services to be cancelled and removed, but keep netflix. They totally got this wrong, managed to log us out of all devices and had no access to it since October.

Today, we finally managed to sort this, along with sorting out the TV package, all thanks to Susan, who actually listened to what was needed and went above and beyond to help. We can't think her enough for getting this all sorted and back up and running! A massive thank you!

Avoid, other providers are available

I have been a loyal Sky customer for over 20 years. Over the past 12 months they have treated me as if I must be stupid to have stayed with them for so long, with regular unexplained price increases. I was definitely ripped off recently by a scam artist employed by Sky when I phoned them to ask why they were putting my bill up so regularly. He mis-sold me a broadband contract I hadn't asked for and refused to stop during the same telephone call! So many negative reviews and complaints they are ignoring.

Terrible service and communication!…

I received an email from Sky to come back to them after a year and a half following a house move. I contacted Sky to accept the offer and rejoin sky TV which was an ordeal in itself. As everyone I spoke to said they had no record of the offer, even though I had received the email. After approximately four days I received my new sky Q Box however, the viewing card was not enclosed. I contacted sky and was told that a viewing card would be sent out and I would receive it within 24 to 48 hours. I did not. I contacted them again after three days only to be rudely spoken to and told I should’ve never been informed I would receive it in that timescale as it takes at least eight days to create the chip inside the viewing card. I then waited and time passed the eight days still no viewing card. I contacted sky again only for a member of staff to say they were very sorry but it looks like a viewing card was never re-ordered or dispatched. It is now five days since that phone call and still no viewing card. Absolutely shocking service and will be sending the box back today.

Absolutely rubbish company.

Absolutely rubbish company.
Decided to cancel my sky TV & broadband after 20 years & sent my equipment back via the prepaid box provided by sky. They have contact me twice now threatening to bill me £117 unless I return the equipment even though they'd contacted myself saying that their courier had already pick the package up from my local post office. Luckily id also kept the receipt of proof of postage with the tracking number which they eventually confirmed they had received, however I'm sure if id not kept this as proof they would have gleefully billed me, my daughter also had exactly the same problem with them. Avoid these crooks!!

Charging for equipment that has been returned

I was with Sky TV for over 20 years and I cancelled the contract in December. Only because the contract doubled in price. I returned all the equipment as requested on 28th December 2023 and had confirmation that it was delivered to Sky on 2nd Jan 2024. Since then I have had 3 further requests to return the equipment via text. Each time I've called to confirm that they have the equipment which takes forever on the phone. Today 8th Feb 2024 I've had a letter requesting the return of the equipment or I'm now told I'm going to be charged £72. This is clearly a way of generating revenue. I'm guessing many people just wouldn't spend this amount of time following up and end up getting charged. They have a record of the return on Jan 2nd but still send out return requests. I know the next thing will be a charge for £72.

Sky Customer Services

I've always appreciated Sky Customer Care, I'm afraid that's no longer the case. Today I called customer services for what I thought was a fairly straight forward issue; 2 hours later & after multiple conversations with different operators in the Bulgarian contact centre (s) I've been left totally exasperated, frustrated and exhausted. I don't think it's fair to staff who have a limited understanding of English to be expected to provide these services, as it must be frustrating for them as well, and even though they were trying to help the communication barriers were insurmountable. It was so difficult I'm going to try to find an alternative supplier after being with Sky for 20+ years.

Don’t make the mistake of joining Sky

Don’t know where to start from.As joining them on the 6th of December and having a credit check in they’re Manchester City centre branch I got told that the Sky Glass package & broadband with phone line shall start working on the 10 or 12th of December 2023.I told them that I was going to leave abroad for work but my wife and kids will be home to take the delivery. On the day of delivery the sky glass Tv came and when it got put out the haulier being known as Panther, their driver said Oh theyres no stand & we can’t put it out so I suggest I’ll take the Tv back and leave a note for Sky & you’ll get it delivered in about 48hrs or something. My wife going along with it thinking that it would get delivered let them take the Tv and the 3 multi room pods too.About 4 days later I get an email saying that we cancelled the contract by sending the Sky Glass back.As having the contract in my name nobody could speak to them but me due Data Copy act etc. Anyways as Christmas was approaching there was no broadband or Sky Tv at home.So I called them from abroad and including the wait time the call cost me £90 as I was calling from my phone as Sky couldn’t call me abroad. Anyway I was told to take another contract out and would have another credit check done again.Let me add that whenever any company makes a credit check whether it being a soft check as they put it 20 points get deducted off your credit score. Now that being 40 taken off I get told that your good to go and everything shall be delivered on the 22.12.23.It was an all day delivery & when my family waited and waited and at around uk std time of 6pm my wife rang me up to find out as it hadn’t been delivered.I made a call again to find out that it had been cancelled because I was so called sent an email which I was to sign and I didn’t receive it so hence the contract had to be cancelled.I was so furious and now out of £90 in calls plus the earache of hearing the wife and the kids for spoiling they’re Christmas. Anyways I came back in January and had to get a 3rd credit check done on me and signed up a third time. The date for delivery which was given this time was the 10th of January 24,on the day of delivery they didn’t have the screws for the stand again.Which wanted me to bang my own head against the wall, how incompetent can a big company be??. Anyways I called Sky again to be told them of the situation, but this time I didn’t send the Tv back as I got told that someone would come again by them and Panther hauliers whom they use and will sort the screws out.Come the following evening I get told that someone will come tomorrow to collect the Tv again.I was outraged to get my head around how these people work and run such a big multinational company. Keeping my cool I replied back to that email and got sent a message that that’s a standard message and they will know on that notes what to do.When they tried sending the sky glass the second time I got told that the company who come to set it up being Panther have spare screws and bits and pieces to sort small issues out and I should have told them to sort it out before they leave.Anyways the following day two more guys turn up and again they don’t have the screws & were told that they’re here to pick the Tv up.I had to explain to them again & they left saying to speak to Sky again. In between I made several calls to Sky to get this sorted out.So on Friday which has passed being the 12th of January 2024 someone came again to say that he didn’t have the screws and that we should call Sky again. My wife told them my husband will be very annoyed and will end up throwing that Tv outside including the equipment and told him of the ordeal of what we have gone through to which he said let me check and see if I have spares in the van.Luckily he found some and fixed the stand and we finally got to watch some Tv after a month and a few days.In between when my wife rang up to tell me that he didn’t bring the screws again I called Sky and spoke to someone & asked him that i wanted to speak to a senior supervisor for all the headache which I took and should be compensated to which he sounded half stoned and offered me a measly £15?So is that what Sky values it’s Customers time and values them at?I’m absolutely vexed at myself for taking this contract out and then being messed about so much.I got a phone call this evening by the same guy who offered me the same £15. They can keep the £15 as being in business if your customer is not happy with the way they’ve been dealt with then it’s not really a good or healthy business relationship. And i don’t like to do business with people whom I feel that don’t respect me or my business.Looking at the negative reviews plastered here just shows that Sky doesn’t care about its customers and when I would tell them about my experience then saying u feel for me but doing the opposite to me doesn’t help.Hope that ppl will learn & avoid joining sky & not make my mstke

Terrible customer service experience.
Can easily add subscriptions via the Sky remote but cannot unsubscribe via the same process. You have to telephone them or via messenger. Took me almost 7 hours via FB conversation to cancel Sky cinema. Took me 30 sec to subscribe to it in the beginning.

Sky q absolutely awful. Drops series links, misses the end of programmes if the previous one overruns. Definitely does not do what it is supposed to. The ordinary sky system was a lot better. Sky what are you playing at, you charge fortune's for a c*** system. Get your act together please.
