Ian was the photographer at our wedding on aug 11th 2017.
He was perfect. We didnt even know ian was there always capturing the right moments at the right time. We have hundreds of amazing pictures of family and friends having the most amazing time. Thank you again ian for everything!
Ian photographed our wedding on August 5th 2011. Ian was all you could want from a photographer and more! I hardly knew he was there all day and when he showed me the shots I was speechless! He managed to capture the atmosphere of the day and I now have many beautiful photographs of family and friends that I will treasure forever. The photographs are tiny moments and glimpses of the day that I missed myself and love looking back at what everyone else was up to!
Fantastic! Leigh Allen (Bride)
I received great customer service from Something Blue Photography. The consultation went great and was happy with the service that was provided - my wedding day was AMAZINGGG and I'm sooo thrilled on how all my photographs came out. Not only is the quality great but it was for such a good price too.
I would definitely recommend Something Blue to all future Mr and Mrs out there :)
Very pleased - THANKS!!!!
Myself and my hubby decided to book Ian from Somethingblue as we wanted documentary wedding photography that was just a bit different to the norm.
We were not disapointed, his photography as so spot on, all the images we had from him brought tears to our eyes, he just managed to capture so much emotion from the day.
The advantage of Somethingblue was that we had a DVD of all our images, this was so usefull as we could email our relatives and pop them on facebook. Ian was great to work with and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
We chose Ian to cover our wedding as we loved the natural images that he produces. We didn't want the usual images from our wedding and knew that Somethingblue would be the best choice.
When reading the website we immediately found we had lots in common with Ian, his relaxed and accommodating style really attracted us. He really couldn't be more accommodating in terms of what we were asking.
So pleased with our images and the fact we had them on dvd is brilliant.
We booked Ian from Somethingblue photography as we love the documentary style of wedding photography. To say we were pleased with our photos would be an understatement. He managed to capture so many moments through our day, we will cherish the images forever.
We booked Ian from Somethingblue photography because we loved his unobtrusive, relaxed style to wedding photography. His images of our big day were just perfect, he shot all moments that me and Lisa missed through the day.
Lisa's parents actually cried when seeing the slideshow of images, it was so nice to have all the images on a dvd to share with mates. Thanks for everything Ian, you are a star!
Somethingblue Photography covered our wedding for us, all I can say is WOW! The images that Ian produced brought us to tears when we saw them. To say they were fabulous would be an understatement.
The quality of the images, and the moments he captured will be cherished forever. He was even good enough to bring along some brollies for when it rained, our guests loved him!
Aside from the photography, Ian was a pleasure to work with, he was highly professional, went out of his way to accomodate us and was very flexible in his approach.
If you want totally unique documentary wedding photography from a friendly guy, pick Somethingblue!

I can highly recommend Ian at Somethingblue for your wedding. He covered our wedding and really was a pleasure to work with. The photos we had were just out of this world, we didnt want the normal posed wedding photography, what we had from Ian was such a special set of photos.
He went out of his way to accomodate our every need, on the day of the wedding you literally didnt know he was there, several of our guests even asked if we had a wedding photographer as he was that calm and subtle about his photography.
