One of the worst and most ridiculous experiences I’ve ever had with any company, ever.
Where do I even begin?

Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. What started off as a simple enquiry turned into a drawn-out mess full of empty promises, lack of communication, and outright nonsense. You’d think a professional business would know how to handle things properly — but no, not this lot. From the moment I contacted them, everything was a disaster.

First off, communication was painfully slow. I had to chase them multiple times just to get basic answers to straightforward questions. When they finally did respond, the information was vague, confusing, or flat-out wrong. It was like playing a game of telephone with a group of people who had no idea what they were doing.

Then came the actual service (if you can call it that). Appointments were missed without any notice. Time and again I was promised follow-ups, call-backs, or updates — none of which ever happened. I was left hanging for days with no explanation. When I tried to get some accountability, I was met with a mix of denial, excuses, and — hilariously — attempts to blame me for their incompetence.

To make matters worse, I later found out that one of the people involved was supposedly acting “privately” on behalf of someone else — completely unprofessional and shady. And when I raised concerns, instead of resolving the issue properly, the business decided to retaliate with childish accusations and legal-sounding nonsense to try to scare me into silence. The level of pettiness and arrogance was truly next-level.

Honestly, I’ve dealt with many companies over the years — some good, some bad — but this one truly takes the crown for being the most laughably disorganised and disrespectful outfit I’ve come across. It’s like they went out of their way to be unhelpful.

Avoid this company at all costs. They waste your time, treat you with contempt, and when you hold them accountable, they act like you’re the problem. Absolutely disgraceful.

One item I wanted was out of stock, they informed me very quickly and worked with me to arrange a suitable substitute so they could get my goods out quickly. Will definitely use again.

12 weeks ago I bought a Dewalt DWE 6423 electric Random Orbital Sander from Tool Line. The job in hand was to remove by sanding, very hard epoxy paint from the bottom of my 40 foot boat. If you can imagine sanding down the side of a 40 foot lorry then that is what this tool had to do. I am now very nearly finished and felt that I really needed to get this review out there. This sander was more than up for the job, vibration on the sander was next to nothing and the dust extraction through a vacuum was superb. The speed setting were just right and it was lovely and comfortable to hold. Having nearly finished this job the sander feels it could go another round with my boat and the only thing that has given up is me. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this sander to anyone and glad I got this rather than spending 3X the amount on the more expensive sanders. The staff were friendly, knew their stuff and very helpful. If I was going to by anything I would by from these guys again.

Simple transaction I searched for the cheapest price for my goods found Toollineuk to be the cheapest bought, paid item delivered within 2 days as quoted. Thanks would use again and would recommend

Quick delivery and great product

Ordered a paddock stand for them, at the time of ordering the website didn't mention it was out of stock, nor did I get a call or email from them to say this. I only found out when I called after 4 days to find out when it was coming. The product was good when it arrived but, 8 days is not good without being kept updated.

Very helpful, and my delivery arrived when they said it would and am! Would use again.

Toolline were the cheapest and despatched the tool super fast but parcelforce were particularly useless

Purchasing experience was first class. Prices and ease of ordering via the Tool Line website were great. Item delivery by another party wasn't without issues.
I ordered a ladder which the Tool-Line website stated would be delivered directly from the manufacturer (Lyte Ladders) and that this would typically take 7 to 10 days. The day after placing my order, at 9:30 am - after I'd already arrived at work, I received an email notification from Tool-Line that my order had been dispatched by Lyte. I then phoned Lyte ladders directly to see if they could give me an estimated delivery time, which unfortunately they couldn't, so I had to leave work and go home and await delivery.
By 16:50 there was no sign of the ladder so I phoned Lyte again. This time I spoke with a very friendly person on the phone who, after checking my order details, informed me that my ladder had been dispatched from their site, but only to a warehouse in Newport and it wasn't due to be delivered to me for another two to three days (I don't know why they didn't tell me this during my initial phone call). I was told that I would receive a text from them on the morning that the delivery was actually due to take place.
Two days later the delivery driver arrived with my ladder, but I wasn't at home because I hadn't received any notification of the intended delivery by text, phone or email.
I'm sure that the ladder will be great, but I don't know if its worth the purchase price plus an additional two days of my annual holiday entitlement just to get it in my hands.

We bought a set of ladders from this company for specific job.

Received dispatch email 3 days after purchase which said 10 day delivery.

After looking on website it mentions only on the delivery page that the ladder take 10 days. Throughout the checkout process it never mentions this.

After 10 days, no ladder. I rang the company and was told there was an issue and that it was damaged and the new set would take another 2 weeks.

I decided to contact ladder company and was told the ladders are not in stock.

This means company never sent out ladders to job and that despatch email was a lie, and that damaged ladders was a lie.

I cancelled order, and order from Amazon and they arrive in 5 days.

So I wont use this one again and suggest to use a caution.

very easy, ladders came in 3 days

I ordered a set of ladders from this company whilst sat in a hotel room in the USA. Best price I could find on the web and UK delivery direct from the manufacturer. Ordered on a Sunday, dispatched on a Monday, arrived well before the quoted time with free delivery. How can you fault that service!?

I have bought a really powerful Bosch jigsaw from this Company at an excellent price - the best of all suppliers on the internet. Jigsaw blades have also been purchased at really cost effective prices. This is the one company I would always look at first when buying any equipment.
