Had really bad experience jist now in aldi. Sales women on counter is so annoying. They dont know how to deal a customer. I think aldi needs to improve their employees behavior with customers.

CONSLUSION IS AWESOME PLCE ALDI

I have ordered a case of wine from aldi online service on 14th of March. Straight after placing my order I have changed my mind and wanted to amend this to another wine. Unfortunately there is no option on your website to do so (neither to cancel) in contrast to all other supermarkets providing online services.
I have called customer service number and have spoken to your customer representative, who have informed me that I cannot amend the order or cancel it as it processing at the moment and that I need to wait for the delivery to arrive and then go through the returns procedure.
On the same day evening I received email from aldi customer service that my order has been dispatched.
2 days later on the 16th of March, I have received a voice mail informing me that unfortunately the wine has been damaged in transit and is on its way back to aldi and then once you receive the wine back you will proceed with the refund.
On 23rd of March I called aldi to check on the progress of my refund – was informed that the logistic partner still didn’t return the case so I cannot get the refund.
On 30th I have emailed asking WHERE my refund is no response.
31th of March no wine no refund!
aldi has absolutely no idea about running online platform. This supposed to be continent way for customer to order instead is a hassle. Is not customer’s responsibility to wait for refund if aldi chosen to make arrangements with cheap logistic partner who doesn’t provide the service.
Is a scam!

Great Food Prices and excellent quality here in the UK, unfortunately however if you E-Mail customer service for any reason you won't receive a response.
The Customer Service does not exist for Aldi unlike rival Lidl who in my experience do respond to customer concerns etc.
This is an unfortunate flaw in Aldi operating in the United Kingdom!
